You know, I wonder if using Forerunner with it's catalyst is viable for the Lightless runs? After getting a kill you can hold down a button and it'll spawn a kinetic grenade that pulls from your ammo pool rather than being a normal ability. Just a thought.
@@RyleeReloaded if you combine it with a voltshot or incandescent primary weapon you probably can then just use most of your forerunner ammo on grenades and stick to your primary. Voltshot is better for dealing with high health targets, get the season of plunder scout rifle so you can apply it at long range.

This run was great to watch, but really that inspirational bit during the sparrow ride was my favorite part. I'm at a really challenging time in my life and hope is hard to maintain, but during that speech you gave I could feel something welling up in me - light buried within me rising to the surface and giving me the strength to push forward in hopes of a brighter tomorrow. Thank you for that.
The poor witch wasn't ignoring you, she was depressed. Imagine going from a formidable force to gardians beating you with gray gear, them saying "well they have the travelers light on their side" then a gardian without light beats you, then a gardian with a handful of bullets beats you by just throwing them at you, then a gardian... you get the picture, only to then see a gardian try using all the light? She's just waiting for the next dlc so she can be spared the misery.

It's interesting how some games can have a profound impact on a person. Being shown the strength of a Titan, the cunning of a Hunter and the discipline of a Warlock in game, can sometimes inspire you to be like even a little but like these characters that we all love so much.
These always make my day they've helped me out through bad days and good so thank you for uploading and showing me just how powerful hot wheels colors can be
When you do specific challenges like this it reminds me that you're pretty much a great player because you've done every simple mechanic to such a degree that you've possibly refined your skills to master at least the least complex of complex maneuvers.
Your videos never fail to disappoint man, the fun of the challenge run and the nostalgia and beauty of the game. You make these moments that can bring back reality and slow things down for a minute, letting us kind of just be there with you and think for a bit. Do a challenge run with gimmick exotics (Antaeus, khepri’s horn, vesper of radius, etc.) as your only way of dealing damage. Edit: bombardiers are another option

Probably impossible idea, considering the weapons the game gives you initially : What about beating some form of Destiny using only the Darkness? Darkness subclass, weapons, etc. So basically just only Stasis or Strand, idk

i was so pained at the start when you deleted a character because they made witch queen replayable an infinite number of times on any character :( edit: just got past it now i die #huntermainforlife
16:05 I have done more research into this myth and it is indeed true. Kinda... turns out the reason why you didn't die there is cause you fell slightly off to the left missing the piece of ground that had spaghetti code therefore not getting instantly killed. Cause turns out yes flat ground won't kill you. But it quite literally has to be FLAT. a single degree off doesn't count which you know isn't spottable by the human eye. So only specific parts of the game will kill you and others won't. The best example I can give is Warpriest. If you get on top of the totem and fall all the way down it will kill you. Almost every time without fail. But if you jump off that big tower in the Ahamkara mission in Witch Queen which is WAY taller you'll survive. So yeah the best thing you can do is to just have a test dummy and find which parts of the ground are lethal and others are not because otherwise, it's just a roll of the dice whether the game kills you or not.
Elemental wells would've helped. Elemental light creates wells from super final blows Font of Wisdom increases super regen significantly for 30 seconds after picking up a subclass matched well. Elemental Time Dilation - Increases duration of elemental well buffs based on how many of the buff mod you have equipped.
Im not kidding, I actually teared up a little at that heroic speech from the 35:00 minute mark. wasnt expecting to cry from some goofy destiny video haha
Watching you do this sheer test of patience and tenacity was an absolute delight, your comedic timing and general comedic know how in these things always make them a treat to watch, the added suffering is always just a 'bonus' XD. The insightful speeches toward the end are always a nice touch and always tend to hit were they need to. Real good stuff here man. I can't help but wonder though if Stormdancers Brace might have been a good tech for this run. You wouldn't get the lengthened super time but you'd get up to 50% of your stormtrance refunded and ramping damage as you kill things with it...might have made it a bit less tedious to re-aquire ones super...Unsure if it would have been better than the duration increase though, or just the stag tanking with a sword, but the thought still sticks in my mind. Might be something worth thinking about for that Legendary Run, if you can pump a bit more in Resilience by that point that is xD.

You can get 40-50% of your super back after activation through combat mods. Energy Converter - void mod - 4 slots Supercharged - solar mod - 5 slots Charged Up - solar mod - 2 slots Elemental Light - any affinity - 1 slot Elemental Charge - any affinity - 2 slots With a roaming super you can create multiple elemental wells which will get you to 5x charges of light. Then after your super ends throw away a grenade to get up to 50% instantly depending on your intellect and super cool-down tier. Also distribution on your class item grants additional super energy when using a class ability near enemies.

If you ever try this again, you could use vesper of radius, or try the dynamo strat with hunter dodge and shards of galanor, you could use healing nades on solar too. There is also the pairing of elemental light, font of wisdom, and elemental time dilation to boost your intellect
I played through the final mission on Legendary and at the RR portion of the battle, I found it so so aggravating waiting for my Super to fill. I was not doing a Super-only challenge, but my Super was the best option I had to do chunk damage on Savathun (apart from Gjallarhorn when the nearby adds would finally drop a single brick of heavy).
If you ever do another super-only run. I'd recommend the storm dancers brace exotic for the warlock. It basically refunds half of your super if you kill enough enemies with stormtrance and also increases stormtrance damage. Also, well of radiance damage and weapon kills while in the well count as super kills in the Game's code
yearly reminder for the hot wheels man that energy converter exists!!! Been a blast rewatching these challenge runs though. As always: “survive, adapt, COME”
Y'know, i booted up a new warlock and transferred everything over, and when i did the meditation quest i got none of the aspects so now because im broke i have to buy ALL THE FRAGMENTS AGAIN
Elemental Light (well on super kill) and Font of wisdom with elemental time dialation would've given you max intellect for a long time after picking up a matching well. Just an idea for if you do this challenge elsewhere. Also, stormdancer's brace on warlock would give you half of your stormtrance back if you get 7 kills, as well as giving it extra damage.

Antaeus won't work for stuff like crystals, khepris and vesper could have trouble with flying stuff

There was a bug this season where Deepsight wasn’t activating. Bungie temporarily “fixed” the issue by making it auto-activate.

You wouldn't get the lengthened super time but you'd get up to 50% of your stormtrance refunded and ramping damage as you kill things with it...might have made it a bit less tedious to re-aquire ones super...Unsure if it would have been better than the duration increase though, or just the stag tanking with a sword, but the thought still sticks in my mind. Might be something worth thinking about for that Legendary Run, if you can pump a bit more in Resilience by that point that is xD.

You can get 40-50% of your super back after activation through combat mods.
Energy Converter - void mod - 4 slots
Supercharged - solar mod - 5 slots
Charged Up - solar mod - 2 slots
Elemental Light - any affinity - 1 slot
Elemental Charge - any affinity - 2 slots
With a roaming super you can create multiple elemental wells which will get you to 5x charges of light. Then after your super ends throw away a grenade to get up to 50% instantly depending on your intellect and super cool-down tier.
Also distribution on your class item grants additional super energy when using a class ability near enemies.
As a hunter I would probably use radiant dance machines and double dynamo and I love your content I think this channel deserves to have way more subs

If you ever try this again, you could use vesper of radius, or try the dynamo strat with hunter dodge and shards of galanor, you could use healing nades on solar too. There is also the pairing of elemental light, font of wisdom, and elemental time dilation to boost your intellect
I played through the final mission on Legendary and at the RR portion of the battle, I found it so so aggravating waiting for my Super to fill. I was not doing a Super-only challenge, but my Super was the best option I had to do chunk damage on Savathun (apart from Gjallarhorn when the nearby adds would finally drop a single brick of heavy).

If you ever do another super-only run. I'd recommend the storm dancers brace exotic for the warlock. It basically refunds half of your super if you kill enough enemies with stormtrance and also increases stormtrance damage. Also, well of radiance damage and weapon kills while in the well count as super kills in the Game's code

Y'know, i booted up a new warlock and transferred everything over, and when i did the meditation quest i got none of the aspects so now because im broke i have to buy ALL THE FRAGMENTS AGAIN

Elemental Light (well on super kill) and Font of wisdom with elemental time dialation would've given you max intellect for a long time after picking up a matching well. Just an idea for if you do this challenge elsewhere. Also, stormdancer's brace on warlock would give you half of your stormtrance back if you get 7 kills, as well as giving it extra damage.
