He's setting the tone of the story for the rest of the dlc, and he makes a funny joke about crows hair and then ghost says some stupid shit, like "I like his hair." I literally sighed so hard that it made me look up the cutscenes and spoil the entire thing because I can't be bothered to play through a campaign with ghost making me roll my eyes every 5 minutes.

It's only my theory but the prismatic and the concept that their thoughts manifest inside the traveller seem to have some sort of inspiration from the movie "Annihilation". Then again, it might just be a coincidence.
This whole campaign seemed very Dante’s Inferno with Cayde as our Virgil leading us through hell on the way to a deeper understanding and conquering of our demons
I missed the cutscene with Ghost right before meeting Cayde, Zavala's cottage scene, Zavala and Cayde Meeting, The Campfire scene and Ikora's theory lol. some of the best, most emotional cutscenes
Cross and Frost being in sync at 27:00 lol. I can't agree more, what an incredible moment. I don't care if any bit of Cayde being alive is fan service, it allows for incredible moments like this and I wouldn't want them to be missing.

Our Ghost may be the next one in line after Targe, in which I am severly worried. Again with the temporary alliance with Savathün. Then again, we have Eliksni and Cabal as our allies, so what's more to the roster. And, to no surprise, Byf is gonna have a field day with this sh*t.
I think it would be cool to see Cayde be able to give someone light powers and resurrect them as if he was their Ghost, cause Ghost told us he reads like a Ghosts energy

i'm not too big on story games. the older i get the worse the adhd gets and frankly even if i love a game or it's story , once the hyperfixaton dies i just forget. i don't have the brain space to keep up, it's why i've got so many unfinished games in my library, very few games have made me care enough about the story to continue focusing on it, the two biggest ones being Destiny and Nikke (idc if it's the "titty game for coomers", the story is genuinely amazing and so is the gameplay) destiny tho... just something about this game. i know the lore, i have a few of the printed grimoire and want the rest, ive got so many more hours in it than is healthy, and i just can't get enough. anytime the story turns to that first D1 mission, or plays "Journey", or brings up Cayde and so on i can't help but shed some tears. currant errors were hell, but this story is my favorite ive played in a LONG time. something about this game man, just makes me sentimental

Dude is in the pale heart, and has done the final shape before (albeit imperfect and resistant by the Traveler) Dude can see the finish line, and these insects coming in? For someone like the Witness, I can imagine him being a little too cocky.
@@karson2022 Just because others do it, doesn't make it good. It's stupid in all examples. It's a problem inherent to a villain that is all powerful and wants to "destroy the universe". At that point, the villain has so much power that there's no way to write them in a good way where the heroes can realistically beat them without plot convenience.
