There's this argument that several interveiwees raised that the Israeli army is the most moral in army in the world. Where does it originate? Does it have any backing, or is it just a meme?
They actually describe themselves that way
It's because they take measures to protect civilians that other armies don't.

Maybe it isn't working that well. Or it's a lie.
go watch Ryan McBeth. Just an insight into Ryan, he works as an independent intelligence analyst for many companies across the globe. He will explain what rules Israel follows and what measures they take to protect human life in conflicts. Hamas uses the same tactics as ISIS, they use human shield. Hamas is even worse in the sense that they even dress as civilians in order to create a fierce public response from the west, its always been like this for the past 15 years, and there is absolutley documented cases of them using hospitals, mosques, schools, and colleges as weapon storage and terrorist activity, and according to the geneva convention any of this targets can be considered a military target. Put Russia or the USA in Israels place, and ask yourself how they would behave?
Another lady "If we kill them, they will be afraid". How did this work so far darling?
Time will tell.
Lady? Utter monster more like.
I'd say Israel are definitely winning by metrics of war. If they wanted to they could keep Gaza and push them all out IF THEY WANTED. I bet we'll see that they don't do that. They'll knock out the terrorist organisation that governs there, and someone like Jordan or Egypt will likely be asked to step in, then they'll form another authority in time. Lets hope the new ones lead manifesto isn't "death to all jews" again. That'll be awkward.
She said it with such a Big smile.
Literally what any army does… you think the americans or russins or any other military is not using this strategy? You sound naive af

The guy saying that palestinians should go to europe where all the muslims are. Dude, you're in the middle east, in the only 'non-arab' country of the region ...
Most Middle Eastern countries were not traditionally Arab. Arabs spread through the Middle East through empire-building. They are the descendants of colonizers.

@@gorilamamusa2121Absolutely, the anti-Vietnam war slogan was "Hey, Hey, LBJ; How many kids did you kill today?"
The way to reduce such casualties is to pull civilians out of the war zone. That's what Lebanon and Israel have done in their border skirmishes, what Ukrainians did, even in WW2 in the UK they moved children out of the areas being bombed.

No one EVER explains how the most highly-secured and technologically advanced, monitored border on the entire planet, somehow allowed a border breach that lasted, according to the IDF, for almost 7 hours before Israeli border control, police or the Israeli army responded. Even members of the IDF border control have stated emphatically, that even if a cat, bird, or other animal breached the border, alarms would be set-off and an armored IDF team would respond and be onsite within a few MINUTES of the breach, regardless where it took place.
You sound like a conspiracy theorist.
Not to mention the fact that Egypt warned them 3days before. Yet, they ignored it!!
Even if Israel let them in, doesn't change the fact that thousands of gazans including so called "innocent" civilians gleefully slaughtered over a 1,000 jews in cold blood. And kidnapped over 200 more.
thank you, yes, I have another question, maybe you have an answer. It is known that IDF responded to this event by calling planes and tanks which shot at everything that moved, these were the orders, some of the teams involved hesitated but that was the overall strategy to handle this breach. SO, can anybody tell me, how many of the nearly 700 Israeli civilians dead on that day, were killed by IDF???? I would like to find an answer even once. Where is the answer to that?
Never under estimate the ability for humans to be incompetent.
Why would you cut off food and water if saving civilians was your goal?
Because it is stolen by Hamas
Why did the UK cut off food and water to grrmany in ww2?
@@dogbert52 Didn't UK colonized many people before ww2?
Israel is not obliged to provide water and electricity to the Gazans. The billions of dollars in aid over the years could have been used to build infrastructure for water and electricity. Instead all the money was used to build a terrorist infrastructure. And then they demanded the UN, the West, the Arab countries to provide other services. And Israel was providing water and electricity to them. Then Hamas bites the hand that feeds them. With disastrous consequences for the Gazans

They value life that's why they are protecting their people. Not like Hamas. Pretty obvious.
@@arcaz2787 but it's not Hamas that killed more than 10000 children.
The second man was an example of complete deterioration of rational faculties by propaganda... he says that "because Palestinians dont care about life, when we kill 30 000 of them, they will attack us" .... and he implies that "Israelis care about life, so when they kill 1200 of us, we will attack them" ... He is braindead on this matter. He has no rational ability to understand what he is saying anymore. If valuing life comes from "not killing more people in revenge and instead de-escalating violence", than it is true, and Israel is doing the EXACT, outspoken, massively disproportionate OPPOSSITE of that principle.

Ever heard of ‘child soldiers’?
Thousands of boys and girls are used as soldiers, cooks, spies and more in armed conflicts around the world.
Two child soldiers in South Sudan stand with their backs to the camera, arms wrapped around each other, in 2018.
Thousands of children are recruited and used in armed conflicts across the world. Between 2005 and 2022, more than 105,000 children were verified as recruited and used by parties to conflict, although the actual number of cases is believed to be much higher.
Often referred to as “child soldiers,” these boys and girls suffer extensive forms of exploitation and abuse that are not fully captured by that term. Warring parties use children not only as fighters, but as scouts, cooks, porters, guards, messengers and more. Many, especially girls, are also subjected to gender-based violence.
Children become part of an armed force or group for various reasons. Some are abducted, threatened, coerced or manipulated by armed actors. Others are driven by poverty, compelled to generate income for their families. Still others associate themselves for survival or to protect their communities. No matter their involvement, the recruitment and use of children by armed forces is a grave violation of child rights and international humanitarian law.
The Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia, Syria and Yemen currently have the largest number of child soldiers. Not all child soldiers are boys holding guns. Many girls are also used by armed forces and groups across the globe, including in Afghanistan, Colombia, the Central African Republic, Nigeria, South Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
What stands out here? The vast majority of the countries with child soldiers are within the scope of Islamic conflicts..
There are definitely different values about human life and children…
United Nations Watch is deeply concerned by Palestinian Authority (PA) and Hamas recruitment and use of Palestinian child soldiers in violation of international law, including inter alia the Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocols, the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and its Optional Protocol on the involvement of children in armed conflict, which the Palestinians joined in 2014, and the Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which they joined in 2015.
Both the PA and Hamas routinely indoctrinate Palestinian children to aspire to martyrdom through armed confrontations with Israel. According to Palestinian Media Watch (PMW), "the PA operates a systematic and institutionalized policy and program to recruit child soldiers/terrorists." In its reports to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on this issue, PMW accused the PA of indoctrinating Palestinian children to admire and emulate terrorists and noted that "The PA openly admits, that the child terrorists are not acting in a vacuum, but rather they consider them to be the PA's soldiers who the PA has sent to carry out a mission."
Examples of Palestinian and Hamas incitement include:
•PA television (TV) broadcast quizzes children on songs with "value and meanings" which PA considers expression of Palestinian "national identity." One of the songs depicts Israel as the "enemy" and encourages armed attacks: "I'm coming with my rifle... I'm coming towards you, my enemy... with cleavers and knives." (January 2021).
•Official PA TV children’s program commemorated cartoonist Naji al-Ala, by sharing several cartoons encouraging violence among children, including one where Fatima (Palestinian woman cartoon character) presents an AK47 to Handala (the Palestinian refugee cartoon character) and one of her handing rocks to children. (August 2020).4
•Fatah Facebook page promotes child soldiers by sharing video of Jordanian boy in military uniform holding slingshot and rifle. He wants to "shoot Jews" who killed terrorist Omar Abu Laila (killed Israeli soldier, stole his weapon and shot to death Israeli father of 12). (February 2020).
•Hamas TV children's program interviews young children dressed in military fatigues. One child says he wants to be an engineer when he grows up "so that I can blow up the Jews." The child host responds “Keep waging Jihad..when you grow up you will wage resistance against the Jews..” (September 4, 2015).

Go and study why. Than go and learn why Syria kicked of palestinians long time ago - because Syria accepted palestinians refugees but they wanted to make a riot and change the government in Seria/ Than palestinians went to Lebanon, they accepted them/ You know what palestinians did with Lebanon? they prosecuted all Christians in Lebanon/ Lebanon before 80es was dominantly a Christian country, they killed Christians and eliminated the government/ Summing up - palestinians refugees, people are not innocent. Where they are - thera death, murderes, evil. That is why none of muslim countries does not want to accept them. Some of palestinians started protesting on the streets of gaza that they blame hamas and ask for elimination of hamas but media does not show it/ but unfortunatelu palestinians started protesting only when realized hamas abandonmed them. on 7 of october these innocent palestinians were applausing . This question is superficial because it looks at the reality through binary lenses. It's not about completely vanishing terror, it's about collapsing Hamas as a military group. It's about reducing it's capabilities as much as possible.
So the answer for that is: yes. It has already been working, Hamas and it's infrastructures today is extremely much weaker than what is was before October 7. We took Hamas 15 years back, and we're in a position that if we act right we can prevent Hamas from returning to it's power. Btw, I don't care if it's sounds bad, a country should set a price, a punishment for it's enemies, if they're attacking it's citizens. It needs to deter Hamas, Fatah, Hezbollah and many others from doing such things in the future. Therefore of course it's necessary, this perspective of "you shouldn't act in gaza cause it won't vanish terror" is dumb and dangerous
It’s kinda inevitable that there will be civilian casualties because Gaza is a densely populated area
The guy speaking about nuance said good things.
Pro.Kieran Healy - Almost without exception when nuance is mentioned it is because someone is asking for more of the same,
@@raygon8 can you explain that thought further, please?
Actually, he said nothing at all and couldn't summarize his idealistic and naive ideas to a sentence that people can understand, so it's a failure of an opinion who only suggests superiority and moral grandstanding.
In the end of the day, it's not hard to say "we should and do minimize civilian deaths while having the right and to defend ourselves and families".
@@ShpanMan If you just actually listen he said that the geopolitical issues that lead politicians to war are very complex, and the ordinary population is often too impatient to check the "nuances" of the problem, thus meaning complexity, and therefore they repeat what politicians say and take extreme side and then gets dragged into the war with a black-and-white view on the issue. He was philosophising on how violence even occurs.
Nope. What he is saying is just hasbara that he is repeating because it sounds so evolved, like “yo, I’m so deep, bro…”. But actually, what underlies his claim that the situation is nuanced is the idea that this is all so complex that we should, like him, make no judgement because it’s way over our heads to comprehend. Super complicated! The end result of this would be that we fear to speak against that which is clearly unjust and morally repugnant lest we should be seen as fools who waded out too far into a complex issue. So the injustice is allowed to continue.
The truth is that it isn’t nuanced at all. It isn’t complicated. All that is required is to open your eyes and see what is happening. If you have any conscience whatsoever, you will immediately come to the conclusion that what is happening is wrong. It’s that simple.

I genuinely thought some Israelis would be against the loss of innocents, but I'm shocked how an entire nation of people justifies it while smiling
Because the reality is no one in Gaza is really “innocent” in the sense of being uninvolved in October 7th and terrorist operations more generally. The average Israeli knows this and so they’re not overly concerned with the made up “innocents” of Gaza. What they fail to recognize is that Israel has a massive role in Palestinians supporting terrorists in the first place and the longer they go without addressing it the worse the terrorist problems will get. They probably think this war will dismantle their society so much that they can’t recover which is honestly a psycho thought, but it would make sense living in Israeli society.

I've followed this conflict for 22 years and care deeply about it. There has always been polarization, but after Oct 7 it's worse than ever. It's sad to see the complete lack of empathy for the other side's civilians (and this goes for many on both sides). Perhaps that's what happen to many people affected by war, that many become extremely one-sided and only see one's own side. That's understandable in a way, but it's dangerous when people start generalizing over a whole population and justifying either terrorism or war crimes. Hamas committs nothing but war crimes and Israel committs war crimes in Gaza as well. The IDF has loosened its' policy of how many civilians are "ok" to kill as collateral damage (see +972's report about it). I do understand harsh views from both sides. That doesn't mean I excuse them.

Hamas appeared in 1987, but Israel was established in 1948. Palestinians have been under brutal occupation for 76 years. Gaza was under complete siege for 17 years .
