You know, electric motor coils can be cleaned and rinsed with soap and water. The key is to blow it off and dry it out before rust/corrosion can set in. I see a lot of restorers avoid cleaning coils like the plague because they think it'll get ruined. Not the case. Just dry it off immediately. :)

иду я такой красивый вдоль какого-то арыка с совком металлическим, и вдруг!, под пучком засохшей травы в овраге,
под слоем гниющих остатков растений,чуть присыпанный землей,аккуратно накрытый полимерной пленкой,случайно обнаружился почти новый,чуток грязноватый электрический вентилятор,ну я его естественно хвать и бегом типа реставрировать,и на трубу,на трубу скорее,пока не остыл.
бля ,сколько штопаных на свете,даже удивительно.

why the fan was in the dirt ?
Some of these channels bury stuff for a while. Usually they don't make it so obvious. One guy had a radio the other day covered in mud and all broken but it had sd card and usb slots lol.
