We use the dyno to determine the correct amount of timing.

Even for that cam don't those numbers seem kinda low? I'd be curious after the head swap with the stock short block what his compression is. I'm doing a 94 gt 331 with blueprint heads edel rom 2 efi intake, 10 to 1 compression and a 226int 236exh at .050 533lift 112ls I'm hoping for at least 300+ wheel hp.

The numbers are where id expect. It takes rpm to make hp. Example, if made 300ft/lbs at 6000 rpm that is 342hp at the tire.

@@ForceEngineering gotcha, that makes sense. How do you like the mega squirt as a tuner? Does it offer all or most things needed to tune efficiently? And thank you for answering I'm enjoying your videos.

@@302hobronco Megasquirt has it place in the market for sure. Ive been tuning them for 15 years or so now. They are a good peice for the money and hard to beat the plug and play options cost/time wise.

@@ForceEngineering that's what is appealing for me is the plug and play set up. I did the bama tune chip for the t4mo in my 94 302, and it worked well. But for a 331 I feel I need a hands on tuner and a stand alone system. Thanks again brother!

@@ForceEngineeringI just got my MS2FMU with the air fuel wideband sensor and gauge last week, waiting until the winter to try it out, I'll be going forced induction, well hopefully.
      Good luck on your build.
