In the first episode of "Back to the Traverse" we begin our west to east Journey through Georgia and Tennessee and then back to Georgia. This is the Big Frog Wilderness area on the Northern Side of Cohuta Wilderness Area. We have a good variety of rigs on this trip and a great group of guys!

I live south of Asheville and the east end of the traverse is a little more than 1.5 hours from my house. I call it my go-to home track. I done it both directions and just recently, a few days of the middle. I can't say that I've done the entire trail, because it seems somethings closed, or I miss a turn, or I decide to bolt into town for a hot cup of coffee and a good breakfast. I can say that without a doubt, the GT is my happy place. Great video.

Awesome Video! Just got done watching the full series because I got a group looking to do something through Georgia and this popped up on my search.
Looks like a good mix of scenic driving with a little technical.
Would it be fair to say a Stock 4x4 Wrangler\4Runner could make it through ok? Trying to give my guys an idea of what we would be getting into. Again...Great video and thanks for sharing

Excellent part 1! Wondering if you're willing to share your GPX file of this route? I found one on-line but it was only 30 miles long.
