About your tree drum, here's a thought. While you're out thrifting, pick up a drum lampshade (big enough to contain the legs of the tree stand) and remove the wires/metal structures from the inside. Then you can wallpaper, paint, or decorate it to match your theme and just set your tree inside.
As a Scandinavian I approve of your Scandinavian style Christmas decorations. Very tasteful! I think you have just the right amount of decorations now. I guess less is more for us Scandinavians. The light on the mantel piece is beautiful. You just need a few tiny Christmas gnomes to finish it off😊

My favorite part about Christmas is decorating and making home feel cozy and warm with Christmas vibes all around. This year what helped me with decor was picking out a color I want to revolve my whole vibe around. This year I went with red and white ornaments and red and white home decor! It’s probably my absolute favorite styling I have ever done around this time! I appreciate you decorating early as well and giving us so much inspiration! I’m so happy watching your video and so excited to decorate more!🎄✨💚🤩🍃🌟

That’s beautiful. My husband’s aunt was a hairdresser and she made ornaments every year for all of her clients. Some were the clear with stuff inside. Some she painted. She always made one for the family too. I still have all of them, and we think of her when we decorate our tree. I love the galvanized looking tree bucket.( That’s what it looked like to me) I live in the country and that would be perfect for around our tree.

haha South Americans also celebrate on the 24th. we make a night long party. hard to adjust living in the US having to go to bed early on the 24th so we can celebrate on the 25th haha

Lol Kinsley running around in the background stealing Christmas decorations is so adorable, reminds me of my dog. She's pretty small so to prevent her from stealing baubles off bottom of the Christma tree once they're hung, my mum would hang the ones with bells in them on the bottom of the tree so they act like a burglar alarm!

I think you should do the baking soda chalk paint mixture on your tin tree collar! It would be the look u want and if put on thick enough, it would cover the embossed lines. I also LOVED the green color of the Pinterest vase with the overflowing evergreens that was your example. That would be a good DIY pottery look, too! You’re the best; thanks for sharing. 😍

Kinsley brought out so much inner child energy in this video to me. HaHa! Your home always looks so warm and cozy after every Home décor video. Can't wait to see how you finish decorating. :) When you put that tin around the base of the tree I couldn't help but imagine how your cat would probably use that as a hiding and sleeping place.

Suggestion... might not help but if you didn’t already (off camera) try flip the painted tin skirt upside down could help it look more like a pot and I think most large pots would have a larger opening at top, if you wanted to take it a step further I think adding more paint of some kind and more texture would help, as someone else said the baking soda method with a slightly different shade of paint may help I think it looked great regardless and what I like to do sometimes is make fo gifts wrap them in your style and then set them under the tree as decor if you do that with the blanket skirt it would look so cute and I bet you could wrap some gorgeous for gifts! Love all the decorations so far and can’t wait to see more! ❤️

What if you did your baking soda and paint mixture on the tree base instead of the spray paint? You could keep adding to it until you get the desired look and maybe even doing the dirt method would help with the ceramic look! 🧡

Hi! Scandinavian here (i'm swedish to be exact) and I love that you are doing a scandinavian inspired Christmas! One thing that is kind of traditional here is a tree ornament that you can make yourself! It's a braded paper heart made with nice craft paper. Traditionally it's made with shiny red and yellow paper but you can use any colour. So simple yet beautiful! I first learned how make them in kindergarden and I still make them every year. Looking forward to more Christmas videos! :)
Kinsley cracked me up so much! He is like an inquisitive toddler wanting to investigate everything. He even stands like a little child and uses his front paws like hands when looking into the box. It is so darn cute! He is like your child, lol. I love it!

Also cedar and cypress are very similar!!! So you can say whichever one you like. I prefer cypress because it keeps the nice green colour all winter and doesn’t get all brown like cedar

I really love how your style has evolved. I think it's such an important part of design, and not all designers talk about it! I too am leaning more towards scandinavian-esque design, with neutral colors. They are reusable each year, you can mix and match, and vintage elements work really well in the design. Can't wait to see what you do next!

You can recycle the champagne ornaments. Buy ivory faux fur yarn and cover them to make faux fur ornaments. This should fit in to your theme.

I've been binging on holiday decor videos from various vloggers because why not! This is my latest stop and OMG your little furbaby is TOO CUTE!!! Such a curious bundle of joy!
