I love this movie so much, but the part that always ,makes me cry is when Clark asks "Can I keep pretending I'm your son" and John goes "You ARE my son!'' and hugs him, they both play that so good! 😭
I have 4 'step' kids , they didn't remember anything but me, and when they git older and seen the difference between them ans their younger siblings , the questions started. I can tell you, this part smashed my soul, as my kids said the same to me, and I the same to them, so the emotion here was spot on. When they found out, it crushed me, and I'm sure them, I wasn't sure if they want me to still be their father or treat me the same, they didn't, they loved me more, understanding all.the love I gave them, all I did, everything was my choice , and to them, especially knowing the financial struggles, the court battles they never knew about, the sleepless nights as i stood guard for fear he'd come , made them love me more. I never adopted them legally, although I had them in my care, because I didn't want to keep seeing him and going to court and having in our lives more then needed, so as adults , they cane to me with paperwork to sign, and I adopted them as grown ups, became their father, even now thinking brings tears to My eyes. They may not have my blood, but they have my soul, they all look like me , their facial expressions, behavior, temperaments good and bad lol, all mine, and I love them so much , I'm so proud of them!

One thing I appreciate now that I'm older is the impact in Clark's decision to kill Zod. When I saw this in theaters I understood why he had to kill him, but seeing it now actually makes me tear up.
Man Of Steel) me encanta 😍😍
Great reaction guys 😊 i knew Laura was gonna cry at this one and were 3 mins in and im proven right hehe i can't wait to see your reaction to the DC movies everyone is perfectly cast in this and this is my favourite Superman movie i love the Every person can be a force for good speech that Jor el says to Clark for so many reasons and the seen with Clark and his dad when he asks if he can keep pretending to be his son!
This is MY Superman. Loved this movie! Henry Cavil is the perfect Superman. I will never get over how WB did this man dirty for years and now James Gunn firing him. The new DCU will fail, they lost one of the greatest Supermans to ever grace the screen next to Christopher Reeves. Will also add I loved Smallville with Tom Welling, but Henry is my Superman. Keaton, Christian and Kevins my Batman with Batman Returns ,Dark Knight and Batman Mask of the Phantasm being my fav Batman movies, Tobeys my Spiderman, and Hughs my Wolverine.
It's crazy how even back in this movie they planted the seed of a character in Justice League. That interrogation scene was so subtle but so well done.
I mean it's not all that surprising, of course they were trying to recreate Marvel's success with Avengers. Playing catch up. If only the higher ups allowed for a little more development in subsequent movies and did things at their own pace.
36:18 If you'll notice, that sign says: "This job has worked 106 days without an accident." Aaaand then this happens. I guess they'll have to reset the counter to zero!
Man of Steel has been my favorite super hero movie since it came out. I love it to bits. It was super under appreciated when it came out, which always blew my mind.
Everything about this film is exceptional, the story and showing the emotional side of Clark, and the affection he carries, the casting is perfect, and what can I say about Hans Zimmer's work for the soundtrack?
Zod isn't stubborn though, he was someone that was designed and birthed with one solitary purpose; protect Krypton at all costs. So, all his motivations where built upon that purpose for which he was designed. That's the whole premise behind what Jor El wanted with natural births, free will to decide what you want to do in life.
Zod had a twisted militaristic mindset. Conquer at all costs. I think he developed that after Jor-El sentenced him to the Phantom Zone. That's why he sought revenge against his son who had nothing to do with his sentence.
@@ronaldnelson6692Zod’s animus against Kal El was not personal, but because as a natural birth with no set role in society he was an abomination and heresy.
@@submandave1125 It was a little personal. He was thinking the way to hurt Jor-El even after death would be to kill his only living son. Zod did ask Superman to join them and he turned them down
General Zorg could not comprehend even if explained. He was not born, he was built that way. Imagine this situation, you have your native language, but in YT you are communicating with the world in English. Imagine they give you the translation to human/person as vermin/pest, and someone is telling you in English you should not bring your people here because it would need to get rid of humans. The phrase would not carry an importance on your brain. That's how Zorg was wired by design. Bad design, and in this univerrse, designing their people with that narrow thought process even led Kryptonians to destroy their planet in the pursue of fulfilling their purpose on each individual area of responsibility.
After this film it would be followed by a universe Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition, Suicide Squad Extended Edition, WonderWoman 2017, Zack Snyder's Justice League, there are other films that came after such as Aquaman, Shazam, Birds of Prey, WonderWoman 2, Suicide Squad 2, Black Adam, Shazam 2, Flash, BlueBeetle and Aquaman 2, which are debated by fanbase whether they're canonical, whether or not you'll see them is up to you. still curious what Snyders Justice League sequels would be turned out like.
Very underrated film. The tone is just right for the somberness of Supes origin story and Cavill perfectly captures how stoic we would imagine a being with such immense power yet tangled together with very real human sensibilities etc. Score is epic as is the soundtrack; again, upon further review I appreciate this piece more and more! 👊🏻
The thing is Superman was the only Kryptonian born with free choice. Zod and the others were born to protect Krypton and if it gets destroyed rebuild it on another planet.
I really hope you two can also react to the original Superman movie from 1978, since that's much closer to what Superman is really like in the comics, and the ideal version of him.

Love your reactions. I would hope that you’ll do a reaction for Superman: The Movie (1978); just to see how you’d compare Henry Cavill’s Superman to Christopher Reeve’s Superman.
They can seem a bit dated, but it might be good to watch the first modern superhero films, too, namely Superman: The Movie (1978) and Superman II (1980). For many, these formed the foundation of their understanding of the Superman mythos.
The scene where the city is being terraformed and Perry is trying to dig the lady out of the wreckage.... And he knows they aren't going to make it... Reaches out his hand to hold hers... Get's me every time. Many people thought it was a let-down. I didn't like the way they showed Krypton but everything else was great. When Superman was under the beam, if you look closely, you see his face changes for a second to look like Christopher Reeve. The 1978 Superman and which everyone is measured against. Glad you enjoyed the movie!
Good reaction, guys. But one of my only gripes is that you're sharing headphones, which take away from the content you're reacting to. The Left and Right headphones each carry separate sounds, so if you're each only wearing one headphone, that means that you'll be missing many aspects of the audio. You should each be wearing your own headphones so that you will each get the full impact of the audio and what it was intended to convey.

Christopher started the standard that Brandon Routh, Tom Welling (Smallville), Dean Cain (Lois and Clark), and currently, Henry Cavill followed in his footsteps. Superman's adopted mom Martha.. She's an awesome actress.. So heart whelming. 🥹❤️😍 I love this movie very much.. 😘
One of the most underrated movies of all time.
I always enjoy your reactions, and I’m really glad to see Laura participating more and more with each video. Keep up the great work, ladies.
One of the most underrated CBMs ever made. Love the Snyderverse
One of those odd times when I know that a handsome actor that girls are simping over, is actually a great guy irl.
Make sure to watch the extended version of Batman v Superman
Man Of Steel) me encanta 😍😍
You both should check out the 1978 Superman staring Christopher Reeves, it's a classic! 👌😉👍
Batman VS Superman (ultimate edition) is a must!! You both will love it!!
Now watch the whole series! Specially the Snyder's Cut
Their reactions are kinda cute not gonna lie ❤️🖤
What was the seed that was subtle ?
@@vinny5727The Wayne Enterprises satellite that was destroyed by Supes and Zod in space.
36:18 If you'll notice, that sign says: "This job has worked 106 days without an accident." Aaaand then this happens. I guess they'll have to reset the counter to zero!
Man of steel is a masterpiece cannot believe it's made in 2013
Absolutly loved the reaction. Would also love to see more Superhero movies, which Laura hasnt seen yet. However i had a great time.
This film was on of the last superhero movies that didn't feel like a fast food movie.
Such an emotional, gorgeous and powerful film! The soundtrack marries it perfectly! One of the best films of our time on this planet
The actor is actually British in real life.
Love your reaction videos to these Superhero movies. He was the perfect Superman! Keep posting. I am new to your channel but already a huge fan!
Rewatched from Magy the other woman is new to this.Glad Magy decided to react to Man of Steel again.💙
Man of Steel has been my favorite super hero movie since it came out. I love it to bits. It was super under appreciated when it came out, which always blew my mind.
Imagine the amount of self control he has. He know he has so much power and literally can destroy someone. But he decides not to
This has such a great soundtrack
Nice to see people actually liking a well made super hero movie with substance.
After this film it would be followed by a universe Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition, Suicide Squad Extended Edition, WonderWoman 2017, Zack Snyder's
Justice League, there are other films that came after such as Aquaman, Shazam, Birds of Prey, WonderWoman 2, Suicide Squad 2, Black Adam, Shazam 2, Flash, BlueBeetle and Aquaman 2, which are debated by fanbase whether they're canonical, whether or not you'll see them is up to you. still curious what Snyders Justice League sequels would be turned out like.
I really hope you two can also react to the original Superman movie from 1978, since that's much closer to what Superman is really like in the comics, and the ideal version of him.
bruh
@@KelzActuallythere are always people like that, they destroy everything, these are the people that broke the snyderverse and gave us josstice league, broke péter Jackson and gave us rings of power and broke George Lucas and gave us the sequal trilogy

Great double meaning.
5:30 I feel sadness for the Kryptonians , the phantom zone is pure pain and hell.
Absolutely loved your reaction and appreciation of the story! Next Batman v Superman ultimate edition, then Zack Snyder's Justice league.
I wish they had made a Superman story where Clark looked more like Ricky Gervais than Henry... now THAT would have been fun.
Superman still looks like a Fairy-Pixie in that costume. 🤣
Your friend's phrase-tattoo reminds me of a film she should see: THE CALENDAR GIRLS (2003, with Helen Mirren. Your friend is far too young to 'get it' but if she's patient, and sees it soon, she'll have a few decades to think about it and realize how her tattoo is a big part of that film.
I always watch and I love how they analyze movies. If you liked the movie, you could watch the Smallville series, it is a great famous series that shows the beginnings of Superman. It would be a great new show. Greetings
Zack Snyder gave us a really masterpiece with his trilogy
Reactions for Batman vs. Superman and Justice League to complete the Zach Snyder universe!! I’ll be there with you both. Totally loved your both reactions.
Also Wonder Woman
Nice you are reacting again to the Snyderverse movies!!
I can't wait for Laura to see Wonder Woman. I'm sure she's gonna love it.

A new subscriber here. It was a great reaction, one of the best I've seen. When you're gonna watch Batman v Superman, just watch the Ultimate Edition and then Zack Snyder's Justice League. :)
"it's not an S on my world it means hope" but in italian hope translate to Speranza XD
“they can be god but they can be monsters also to people” james gunn actually put “gods and monsters” to the first phase of his DCEU
Can I just say that both of you are stunningly Beautiful eye candy for the viewers is always nice ❤️
Look how they cried at end .. that is a masterclass film ..
Magy, Laura, you two watch the best movies, I love this movie and I love this channel thank you both so much for your reactions
Its so powerfull this movie, the fact that his first kill was one of his lost own kind.. deep
I'd love to have his powers but I'd sure misuse them. Especially the x-ray vision.
Fun Fact: The evil female Kryptonian was originally going to have *Gal Gadot* in the role. But she got pregnant and had to back out.
Luckily, she was reconsidered to play *Wonder Woman* 😎
well, that worked out for the better because Gal is an amazing wonder woman.
I knew that you would love this movie. It’s so good!
The start of this universe was so promising. Such a great Supermam film, so underrated!
@@nsasupporter7557That’s an underrated take.
Love your reactions. I would hope that you’ll do a reaction for Superman: The Movie (1978); just to see how you’d compare Henry Cavill’s Superman to Christopher Reeve’s Superman.
The US General is Martian Manhunter, why he doesn't back up when Superman approaches the 2 way mirror during the interaggation
They can seem a bit dated, but it might be good to watch the first modern superhero films, too, namely Superman: The Movie (1978) and Superman II (1980). For many, these formed the foundation of their understanding of the Superman mythos.
Man of Steel is great. Cool vid, cool hosts.
Glad you enjoyed the movie!
now i can't wait to see your reaction to Batman v Superman and Zack snyder's justice league
Best solo superhero movie ever made in 21st century
This was fantastic thank you ladies. Superman is awesome!!
Facts.
Not really, it doesn't take away anything. It's just a plus to have L+R.

You and Laura need to see and react to original Superman/Clark Kent by late legendary actor, Christopher Reeve when 1978's Superman came out. Christopher started the standard that Brandon Routh, Tom Welling (Smallville), Dean Cain (Lois and Clark), and currently, Henry Cavill followed in his footsteps. Newest actor, David Corenswet will take over coveted role as Superman soon in Superman: Legacy scheduled to be released in July of 2025.
One of the best DCs movies, try watch the movie Brightburn, is like the evil super man, very cool.
I would love to see you and Laura react to Outlander.
