Ford Mustang Vs. MTS Bus 2/6/2024

San Diego Fire-Rescue along with The California Highway Patrol responded to a report of a traffic collision on the Eastbound lanes of the SR-905 freeway just East of Caliente Ave. When crews arrived, they found a San Diego MTS bus that collided with a Ford Mustang.
The driver of the Ford Mustang had to be extricated by firefighters which took about 20 minutes and was transported to a local hospital, their condition is unknown at this time. The driver and the passengers of the MTS bus did not suffer any injuries. The passengers of the MTS bus were transported onto another bus to continue the route.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and trying to determine if wet roads and or speed was a factor in the crash. About 40 feet of guardrail was damaged due to the crash. A SigAlert was issued for Eastbound SR-905 as crews worked to clear debris and the damaged guardrail.

Hmm, the bus must have been at fault because we all know Mustangs are only driven by responsible, mature drivers with spotless driving records.

Hard to tell by type of Vehicles in accident? Bus drivers because of size are aggressive now Mustang Drivers all think because car is a V8 they are Race car Drivers!
