    New gardener here, wow I am shocked at how many plants people cram into a pot. I was only putting like geraniums into a huge pot....Never dreamed I could pack all these into one pot? I AM LEARNING A LOT. Beautiful work, and such a great video- THANK YOU!

    Thriller Filler Spiller has been my way of planting for years. It makes pots much more interesting and showy!

    As a absolute beginner of container garden, I've watched at least a dozen videos on how to start a container garden, and this one is by far the most comprehensive and easy! I just love how Katherine explained everything, so clear and simple. "A thriller, a filler and a spiller", brilliant!

      I learned something about the cordyline 😊I have two container that I brought in thus winter. The cordyline is so large I am glad to know that I can cut the lower leaves off. I wax worried I might kill it if I did.

    I have done the thriller, filler, and spiller for years BUT have never heard it called this...I love it! I live in a cold winter climate...watching your video makes me anxious for warmer weather for I can start planting my flower pots. Thank you for a nice video...loved your post of beauty.

    I bought a book a few years ago about 'thrillers, fillers and spillers', showing all of the combinations you can do and it's fun to just use your imagination with the different plants and colors. Ornamental grasses are beautiful as thrillers too! I subscribed because you English people have such lovely gardens!

      @@brendaclark3234 Hey Brenda. I''ve got all of my books boxed up right now, painting the living room, but I'll keep your name. Actually, now that I think, it is a magazine that I got at a local Home Depot store from several years ago. It basically had the same thing as these great videos.

    Got a good tip take plants out of pots , arrange empty pots in container fill around the pots press down soil an a slight twist pot , pot comes out an plant goes in 1 at a time very easy , 5 plants enough giving each plant enough root growth room

    Great video. I do this in 5 contai ers every year but you can always learn. Beautiful combination ironic i am going shopping for plants to start this wkend. Spring hss finally arrived for me. I love u dont wear gloves. I don't either i have to have hands in the dirt.

    Great video, I dont know if container gardens are a new concept but I like Katherine she doesnt beat around the bush. Good tips too. Its pretty simple like she says, just dont overwater and when the plants outgrow you might want to think about replanting but gardens like these last longer than you think : )

    It’s also helpful to soak the small pots for a minute or 2 prior to repotting -then u don’t have to pull apart any roots and air bubbles get released👍🏼

    Beautiful choice of flowers. You could manage to set the soil bag close the pot. This way you wont work too hard. I have planted and I try dont over work my spine.
