Nice one I have one of those massive 2 in 1 units with hose tube and man is it awful haha. Glad to see this is good and has a chord. Pair this with a ksger12 and you get something that performs wayyyy better less money.

Just got one off Facebok marketplace for 20 quid, can't complain at that price. I also was wondering what the plastic tube with small metal springy thing was for, infact that's why I came to this video....A mystery I guess! Good video pal :D

It is for lifting off any component that has been brought to reflow temperature. Pop it under an IC and flick it off.

Same story here. I got mine second hand from Facebook and it’s been amazing! Never had one before but I needed one to do some work and it’s saved me a lot of time and hassle with a soldering iron. Just be careful around tube capacitors as the heat can make then pop. Also I threw away my plastic thing as I couldn’t see it mentioned anywhere so thought it was from something else being second hand 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hello, I would like to know how to do the temperature calibration of the Yihua 959D station?? because I have followed the instructions to touch the up and down buttons for 2 seconds and the 3 points to calibrate the temperature do not appear, when I actually set the station at 400º delivery at the exit 340º measured in a multimeter ,, thanks

I think you need a clamp to fixed your working PCB object.

No. That was from Amazon.

The newer (I assume newer) revisions being sold on Amazon do come with a soldering mat. Not sure if there are any other differences besides that and the face plate is now black with a different style knob. Same model number though.

A few colleagues now have one, so yes, works well so far and for the price, can't complain.
