+Dark Starr Oh no, I mostly just mean exploring. There is alot in Fallout 76 for me to dislike. Even in Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4 I tend to avoid real questing. Becoming an unbeatable death machine also does not really appeal to me, nor does the grind. Mostly I would just want to check out locations and get a general feel for the world. There would probably be very little for me in terms of a focused goal to achieve. In any case, as mentioned previously, the game would have to be available on Steam to garner any potential interest for me. Even then, there would likely be an extensive amount of research put in and questioning of preferred builds being feasable. Failing too many preferences would indeed leave the game as nothing but an unnecessarily expensive tour of a fictional land. That can be summarized as "I hate the game, but exploring the Fallout universe in another medium might be interesting under the right circumstances". No endorsement intended

It's embarrassing that Hello Games has their shit together more than Bethesda; if anything Bethesda needs to keep it's fan-base for upcoming games, whereas Hello Games could have just taken the money and run.

See, people like you just pick a joke that is great sometimes, and completely destroy its original meaning. I'm not the smartest person ever, but if I'm not wrong, you can only woosh someone if they get offended with a sarcastic post. The problems begin when people like you just use that Reddit with posts that aren't really sarcastic in the first place. In this case, the person who made this post about Fallout may have been sarcastic. However, there's also a chance that they did it as a fanboy. If you read my first comment carefully, you may see that I don't discard the possibility that the post was made sarcastically. Another problem is that a lot of users are using the r/woosh so many times that they are very predictable. Next time you want to woosh someone, remember to make sure that the main post is obviously sarcastic, and please, don't make it so predictable. Things like that completely kill the joke.
"Fallout" 3, 4, and 76 are objectively proof that Bugthesda has never understood Fallout and people should have zero hope or anticipation for the show on Amazon. Whether or not they're terrible games on their own merits is subjective but they are objectively terrible Fallout games cause they destroy and throw so much Fallout lore out the window. Bugthesda should just sell the Fallout franchise back to Obsidian or Hell just give it to them cause Bugthesda couldn't make a Fallout game to save their lives. Fallout New Vegas is still easily the best game in the franchise and is in my top 5 favorite video games of all time. After Starfield, nobody should have any faith that Elder Scrolls 6 will be decent, not unless Bugthesda actually listens to criticism, improve, and hire more people who actually cares about wanting to make innovative and amazingly written video games!

Wow Such Gaming it's not implausible. People used to do it in theatre to rile a crowd. You never went to a concert or something similar? When someone next to you claps you have an erge to join. Also people were looking uncomfortable when he said every person ingame would be a real player. Fallout was always about npc interaction and multiple dialogue so a statement like that was bound to upset some people.

Skyrim is one of the games I've replayed most over the years, but it was unplayable on the Playstation when it was released. I've played the heavily modded and community patched pc version, and that's the one I've enjoyed so much. As excited as I am for the next elder scrolls, it's only because the pc community for the series is so strong and they ALWAYS clean up the messes made in these games.
Exactly. Microtransactions, battle passes and subscriptions belong in FREE games only. I love fallout but I refuse to play this shit. $100 a year for what? That's $40 more than the game itself 🤣🤦
what bank, the game got reviewed bombed, and most people didn't even pick up the game, the game is already been discounted twice, once at 40 and now its 35
Coming back after watching the Starfield review, and Joe was right to be worried. Going from a 3/10 with F76 to a 6/10 for Starfield does not bode well for the company. At least it is not a microtransaction ridden gotcha game like 76, but the company has shown it's loss of soul. I am really worried for ES6. It seems what made this company great, has gone the way of the dodo. Or in gaming company terms, gone the way of Bioware.
I have zero faith or trust in the studio anymore, I really don't, I'm more excited about BG3 and possible new content for BG3 then I ever will be about ES6. Starfield is atrocious, just on the engine alone the game looks like it is from 2015, it's bad. It's soulless, lazy, over ambitious AND not what anyone wanted.
Bethesda have relied faaaaar too long on Modders fixing their games post-release. Their bugs and lack of polish were amusing early on...sometimes charming and funny back in the day. But the fact they're not getting the message and keep churning out these titles with no discernible quality control, yet still consider themselves AAA developers is astounding. The modding community carries their games, full stop. Seriously get your shit together, or move over and give the projects to Obsidian, jesus christ.

What's funny is Joe was the first one to say the engine was too old when fallout 4 released. Looks like they didn't listen to him then.
Matt Loverso right!
The engine is still gamebryo, the very engine that has haunted Fallout 3 and New Vegas
Well actually everyone is saying this since, or after Oblivion. Everyone except Bethesda. FO3, FONV, and Skyrim also had their weird bugs and gamebreaking moments due too an extremely old and poor engine. But guess what! Nothing will change. TESVI will also be in the same but "upgraded" engine.
The worse joke of it all is that they plan to use this same engine in their future games.
Why don't they get a new engine?
This reminds me of a funny steam review, it went like this:

I would honestly consider buying it, if it were on Steam.
However, it is definitely not worth any extra effort on my behalf. No fancy alternate launchers, no Playstation Plus... I would consider buying the game for PC on Steam, almost exclusively for the environmental storytelling.
@@spartandelta2756 I hope you mean ''turning valves on with no animation or cool events whatsoever'' when you say environmental storytelling. Because not even nukes are properly working to honor that fancy name.

Oh no, I mostly just mean exploring.

Fallout 1 and 2 look better than Fallout 76. Everything in those games look like they belong together. Fallout 76 looks like a collection of recycled assets.
@Grandslam Gaz Now, being serious, is quite trashy to use r/woosh with my comment, to be honest.

Seriously get your shit together, or move over and give the projects to Obsidian, jesus christ.

i remember the broken PS3 skyrim being extremely obnoxious. fuck you todd, i used to look up to you.
You should make a video on this game.
Exactly Obsidian or Inexile would be better. Fallout is just a random shooter now with a wasteland theme. It was dead already. It just angers me.
Well it isnt all there games. Doom Eternal and Prey were good games and had very few bugs in comparison to Fallout.
I miss the days when video games were actually complete on release.
And had content
And no microtransactions
blame the pre-order bois
So few good companies left. Id Software, From Software, and Rockstar still give me hope.
It's getting to the point, where I am willing to accept 2010- graphics, *if it means the game comes out FINISHED!!!!!*
What's even crazier about that Vault-Tec power armor paint job is that, in Fallout 4, the Vault-Tec paint job was unlockable in the vanilla game, so long as your perks & stats were high enough. Now, they expect you to pay for it.
I dont mind micro transactions in games like LoL that are F2P but from Bethesda in a AAA 60$ game....that's trash
or... hear me out... play the game and get it for free
It wasn’t even unlockable, you can apply it your power armor since day one
@@michaeldorso7099 or... hear me out... this might sound crazy... but they could make it so you got the stuff in the shop naturally through progression instead of having to grind to buy it in a microtransaction store
Peanut Nutter that’s exactly what you can do already... Most if not all of the outfits you can find in the wasteland
I watch this every other month cause it's fun to see his real anger towards the situation, also, we should just consider fallout 76 non canon to the main games.
