- It's now been a week since Pokémon Legends Arceus came out and it's been a real blast! Along with the new style of gameplay has also brought about new ways to evolve the Pokémon we play with, old and new alike. So today I'm going over the 7 HARDEST Pokémon To Evolve In Legends Arceus, as some methods have become easier while also introducing some real tedious once as well!

Adding the Link Cable was one of their best decisions, I hope they carry it over to Gen 9
I couldn't agree more
When I first saw the Linking Cord, I was all like "Wait! THIS is ROM hack stuff! Now, it's canon?!" Trade Evolutions were unfair in '95. By '21, they were just stupid. Good to know that Game Freak is actually listening now.
100% agree.
They won't. It's in all Pokemon games without trading.
It used to be a big deal before Online Trading became the norm. Now trade evolutions are just a hassle now. Link Cable was the cherry on top of a lot of decisions made. I hope they carry it over too along with the evolve in menu mechanic and the moves not being "forgotten."
Gen 8 evolution methods make me think that if Slowking was released today, it would be something like "your slowpoke holding a king's rock must survive a battle against a shelder who used bite on him"
Annoying....but accurate!
Or Onix has to take a hit with a steel type move and have 10 HP or less in order to evolve into Steelix.
Kinda like that tbh vs trading lol
a little bit of annoying but i actually like that idea instead of a fricking trade evolutions lol
*cough* clamp
I forgot where I've seen it but someone made a fan art of hisuian Porygon and called it Papergon. It was an origami crane and i believe it is the best Fakemon I've even seen
Wait. Hold on. That’s cool, for sure, but are you telling me they passed up calling an origami Porygon… Porygami?
@@PenguinXIII it is a really called porygami, at least that’s the only one I found online
@@SinclairLoves Perfect! I feel as though there is balance again lol
I was kind of hoping for an origami/stone/wood Porygon in the game.
As someone who plays almost exclusively single player I really appreciate how the worst part of evolution in this game is being tedious. I've gotten to use so many pokemon I never have before.
Dude same. I finally get to have a Machamp/Alakazam and Gengar on my team!
I spent mostly getting the pokemon I needed through luck and I agree it is a bit tedious as most of them I too had never used, such as all of the Eevee evolutions. As far as I am considered, Basculin is the hardest to catch followed by Cherubi and Cherrim.
@@gerriejordaan8385 Eevee is easy. Just a heads up the moss rock and that special ice needed for glaceon is in Arceus!
@@articuno8565I am aware. I found the Moss Rock and simply caught a Glaceon in the Time Distortions. Most of the pokemon evolutions, like Gengar and Alakazam I intend to just catch their alphas rather than spend ages leveling up or using the trade links as so far I managed to get lucky and get 3, yet since I have mostly been focusing on doing the pokedex and about to take on Electrode noble, I figure I wait until I encounter the alpha Machamp as most pokedex entries require certain moves at higher levels that I simply wait to catch that pokemon later which makes filling out the entry easier.
@@gerriejordaan8385 good strategy! I got lucky this evening and caught a shiny alpha gyrados using that mass outbreak strat. Those time distortions give a ton of linking cables
I somehow dodged getting a Slyveon and got an Espeon like I always wanted, despite not knowing about Fairy Type moves being required for the former. Maybe I was lucky…..
Same exact thing happened to me. Happy surprise. Love Espeon.
I almost fell for that trap, too. But, fortunately, I remembered that Fairy move crap while being indecisive about whether I wanted an Umbreon or an Espeon.
@@thescotchirishman3373 Same here. My favorite Eeveelution.
@@kamentrainerhorn2073 Good save there.
Same. Surprised me, but not a bad one
The Eeveelutions weren't hard for me. But the Sylveon change took me by surprise because I was unaware of it.
I got sylveon first
I caught Sylveon in one of those things. I’m having a brainfart and can’t remember what it’s called, lol. Those… distortion fields? >
@@AmethystDaydream space time distortions I believe?
Eh, I had a feeling it was similar. It always required a fairly type move and I had a feeling there wasn't an affection stat, so..
I got Sylveon first but I wasn't going for a particular eon form.
Literally, the first Eevee I evolved in Legends: Arceus, was Sylveon. And I didn’t even mean too. I thought I was gonna get Espeon.
Sylveon was also my first Eevee I evolved in Legends, but in my case it's the one I wanted lol. I remembered from swsh about the fairy type move thing and had to reteach it baby doll eyes.
Well I caught an alpha sligoo who was lvl 50, I looked up how to evolve it and when I checked my game 5 seconds later I noticed it was raining....how handy
Half of these aren't hard. Unless you're going for perfect dexs
The crazy part was that I didn't even need a complete level-up, just a few EXP points.
@@kamentrainerhorn2073 for a lot of these evos just knowing the move they need gives you the option like piloswine. As soon as you teach him Ancient power you can evolve him. No level up needed
@@Chronal-Rend
If I didn’t agree with you, I’d call that lazy.
@@kamentrainerhorn2073 the new way for evolutions just makes more sense and that the fact that needing a level up pass a certain level with a move was literally just because they didn't have a way to trigger evolution without level up or item
Aww, but I love Sylveon....Also, for a lot of the Eeveeloutions, those time rifts are a good thing if you know how to not push your luck or are a high enough level by then.
When getting garchomp instead of going for gible I got really lucky with alpha gabite and it evolved really quickly
I am honestly happy about allot of these getting really hard to evolve, especially if it's lore related, it's cool
You can technically purchase the peat block, but it is randomly available as all the evolution items are from the Gingko Guild.
You can also dig em up and get 1 as a reward from a Request.
Plus you won't know what it is since it's called a pile of coal so you won't know what it is until you buy it or look up what the pile of coal is.
porygon was the easiest by far for me, i’ve found like 5 dubious discs and 3 upgrades from time distortions, meanwhile it took catching like 50-60 scyther to get the evo item for Kleavor 😭
I found it easier to get the obsidian woth ursaluna in the red swamp (don't know the name of the place in english I played the game in french)
Just go to the cobalt coastlands and look on the beach near the wreaked boat there should one that is purposely placed there along the coastline of it
Wild graveler has a chance of dropping the black augerite to get kleavor, I evolved my sycther pretty fast by doing that
@@noahgabel7487 yeah this. I had half a dozen black augurite before I knew what it was for by working on catching graveller
The “wanting to evolve for umbreon and instead getting sylveon” happened to me. I remember being super bummed because I already had sylveon and umbreon being my fave evee evolution. Great list!!
I actually had the opposite problem- I kept getting Espeon’s and Umbreon’s left and right, and couldn’t figure out when my Eevee would learn a Fairy type move! Haha
They all start default with a fairy move.
Well, glad I saw this before trying to evolve the first and last entries. For Wyrdeer and Overqwil, I knew about the “use move 20 times part”, but not using specific styles. For Ursaluna, I do have the peat block, but didn’t know about the full moon part. As for the others, Basculegion can be made easier by grinding on Firespit Island, and while actually evolving the others can be tedious, I’ve honestly had pretty good luck with alphas and distortions so far.
The best place I found for Overqwil was the Mirelands-all those Carnivine so desperate to attack you and weak to poison.
For Wyrdeer, also Mirelands, in the swamp. All that poison.
Evolving Sligoo is easy. Just lvl up and stay in the Mirelands. It rains there all the time. Seems like every 5min.
I didn't find leveling up goomy that bad either, also with garchomp I ended up catching an alpha gabite that was close to evolving and for porygon I actually caught its final evolution first in a distortion so I had to go back later to get the others lol.
Or just skip the whole thing and catch the Alpha Goodra in Coronet Highlands.
@@amandadaley4182 That’s exactly what I did to get my Garchomp. Once I got the Dex entry for Gabite completed, it was ready to evolve.
@@amandadaley4182 the discs are easy to find. Best thing is, you can just use the discs and not have to worry about trading to evolve.
@@shelbybabcock8779 that's a whole extra area when you can just do it early.
I was hoping we'd get 1 or 2 new eevelutions. I hope they eventually do all the types. Including a normal type evolution.
Normal typing goes against the idea of an eevee making a choice to change. Bug makes no sense. Ghost would maybe need to kill the eevee. Flying could be done but its normally a second typing. Dragon is like big, makes no sense to change. Elemental Eevees are the only logical ones with we call fairy as the true evolution.
It’d be cool to see a Egyptian form lol like a sand type
@@denitipuric1130 ground sounds good to me! Or could be rock?
@@coreyclarke1604
Dragon type was actually a special type attack in Gen 1-3, so there's no reason for why we have a fairy type evolution, yet no dragon type as a counterpart.
I actually have some ideas for new eeveelutions
Metaleon: (not pronounced metal-eon but instead like metallic but without the ic part). Just evolves with a metal coat.
Minereon: rock type pokemon evolves when you give eevee a stone ( an item that i came up with. It is just a normal stone that can only be obtained with a 5% chance of dropping from a geodude, looks like a normal stone)
Petroleon: a poisoned type that can be obtained by finding a ball of sludge (could be found when following a poison type if they have the pokemon outside like they did in legends arceus, the let's go games, and I think sword and shield which I've never played in scarlet and violet ) and taking it to a lab ( if there is one in scarlet and violet ) and like the process for fossil pokemon, you would get the pokemon or in this case, you would get the item which would be called the sludge rock. You would give the sludge rock to eevee and you got petroleon.
Grifeon just a smaller griffin but instead of a bird head it's more like the other eeveelutions. It evolves by being at a high point (on a mountain or flying) while having an eevee one slot above a flying type in the party...
Can't think of anything for dragon, bug, ground, ghost, or normal. If I think of any I will edit the reply. If you reply to my reply with another eeveelution for that type I can edit it and edit it into this reply with credit to you of course, only if you want me to
I consider myself an experienced Pokémon vet and the sylveon evolution happened to me. You’re right, I was very confused when I thought I was getting umbreon lol
6:14 very true, this is my first Pokémon game since gold/silver. This is the Pokémon game I’ve always imagined, just need more Npc battles in the next one.
There were less battle probably bcoz of the story ......as it was past sinnoh and people were even afraid of pokemons ,so there were less trainers.
It felt so good to evolve Ursaluna, and so early in the game!
Galarian Yamask:"I'm the hardest to evolve!"
White Stripe Basculein:"No I'm the hardest!'
Ursaluna:"Amauters!"
10:09 Yeah...even when I sorta knew the method I understood that honestly the method itself would be hard to pin down. Sometimes you might fulfill into it "accidentally" because your just grinding out the dex or just are using Wave Crash or Double Edge a lot.
I've wanted to evolve my shiny Ursaring for weeks! Thanks so much for the info 🙏
Given that there is a catchable alpha Goodra in the game, I just caught that instead of doing the rain nonsense. Yeah, it appears pretty late, but it's a solid idea if you don't have Goodra by that point.
I got my Sliggoo in the rain and evolved it right away.
rain isn't even that hard to find. Both the swamp and the cobalt coast get rain so often (at least in my game they do) i wasn't even trying to evolve when i got it (i wanted to catch Alpha Honchcrow and got rain the second i fast traveled up to the Brava Arena)
Thanks for the vid I did not know this now I can work on my pokedex without worrying
I had heard about the Ursaluna evolution from somewhere, but did not worry about that for awhile. Found a peat block not too long after getting the Ursaluna mount, and then recently while hunting an alpha Infernape, I noticed that I had a full moon, so I warped back to camp and used the stored peat block on my alpha Ursaring to get my Ursaluna.
THANK YOU!! My trunk is filling up with peat blocks and I've had no idea which Pokemon apparently loves them 😅
Honestly the peatblock, move requirements and recoil damage are ones I probably wouldn't have figured out on my own, lvl grinding was as easy as it always was so personaly those don't even make the list to me, also the game gives my my own personal rain cloud for what has felt like 50% of my play through so far. Nice list.
I did not know they changed the sylvion requirement to happiness. But i still had no problem getting espion or Umbreon because I knew a fairy move is also required
honestly i did not know you can evolve of them that way... thank you so much for this video. because of your video i only have 3 pokemons left to complete my pokedex. which are arceus, Enamorous and spiritomb
Stantler and Qwilfish were the 2nd hardest for me.
Eevee I didn't have problems. Just had them smash rock and trees
Porygon was a breeze without having to trade
Gible caught EXP from just being in the party
Caught alpha Sliggoo so just needed rain which didn't take long
Basculin I just trained of Firespin Island against Magmar and Graveler and was done in a few minutes
Jolteon wasn't all that hard to get for me, since I got the Thunder Stone needed right before I was able to use Wyrdeer on the field. I think it was random, though.
As for Goodra, I ended up catching that alpha Sliggoo in the Mirelands and evolving it immediately after.
Went to the Coronet Highlands and did some exploring - came across an alpha Sligoo AND an alpha Goodra in the same place. I was not prepared!
4:43 its hard to get the eeveelutions at the begining of the game but late to post game is easy. You should have the stones by then and if not you can get the pouches from the 5 maps to get 2 or 3 stones and happiness actually maxes out really fast if you feed it exp candy.
You just describe the entire event with my eevee, I also did not realize that you need a full moon to evolve ursaring when I first got the block I used at the moment I got it weird.
I knew about ursas evo method but it wasn’t a challenge. I found 2 peat blocks back to back as soon as I used the ride ursa. Then when I went to do the lilligant battle, I opened my menu to save and my cursor was on the peat block and it showed compatible so I figured there was a full moon out and evolved it right away. Now I found a shiny ursaring and just slept 3 times before it said compatible. The rest I’ve evolved easily too (and as an eevee main, I knew the sylveon requirements) but the most tedious for sure was quil/stantler. Basculegion is pretty easy even if you don’t know, as wave crash looks really cool and is strong.
Funny the example you mentioned for accidentally getting Sylveon. I wanted a Dark type for my team and had an Eevee ready to evolve. Set the game to night and evolved it only to get Sylveon.
Even more annoying? I knew right away it was the Fairy type move. I knew that it was needed to get Sylveon in the first place, and although I didn't know that friendship replaced affection, I knew I shouldn't have had that move there. Triple checked when I got my next Eevee ready to evolve into Umbreon, and again when I went for Espeon.
Not a big deal though since I needed a Sylveon for the Pokedex anyway, I just felt stupid for forgetting about that one move.
This list covered a fair amount that I assumed would make it but togetic and cherubi should have gotten an honorable mention.
Oh man, and this is first I heard about the Pete block and the full moon. Dang! Haven’t gotten there yet
Something I came across when looking up space on distortions is don't go back to rest at the camp as any time you do that or to leave the area the timer for space time distortion resets. Just wait in the Crimson Mirelands, and after most 40 minutes, a distortion will spawn. After 40 minutes, a distortion is guaranteed to spawn, though it may spawn in after less time has passed
Grachomp is actually fairly easy, due to Alpha Gabite spawning at lvl 54 in the Highlands. Caught one, gave it a candy and had a Alpha Garchomp before the Electrode trial.
I just caught Alpha Gabite at level 55 (caught next to the low 20's Gibles) and evolved as soon as. Couldn't be bothered with leveling up a 20s Gible when my team was early 50's
Same here. Actually makes getting a Garchomp pretty easy, especially if you have a rare candy or some xp items.
There is no question. Ursaluna was the hardest Pokemon for me to evolve. It was so frustrating having to sleep over and over waiting for a full moon.
Must be hard just talking to the npc I guess.. 🙈🙈🙈
@@gypsythreads it literally took me over half an hour to get to a full moon night. I'm sorry I wasn't as lucky as you.
It was post-game, unfortunately, but I encountered at random a wild Scyther, thought about those sharp things collecting dust in my collection, and thought, "Oh yeah!" Kleavor time, and Shiny at that!
I instantly knew why you placed basculegion on this list
But I'd add, that just catching its pre-evolution form, is where the most pain happens
I luckily knew that about the eeveelutions, and was able to get umbreon and espieon early game, they were in my party along with flareon the whole game
It took me so long to evolve Stantler because I didn't know I had to use Agile style. I must've killed dozens of Gastly, Haunter and Croagunk with Psyshield Bash while trying to evolve it. The good thing is that at least I found a random shiny Haunter while doing this, so there's that hahah
It's cool and a relief that they added the linking cord so that you no longer have to trade those certain Pokemon in order to evolve.😊
That Sylveon one happened to me with the first eevee I caught (really early on), which by the way, was a SHINY. I wanted an umbreon and ended up with a Shiny Sylveon. I stopped playing pokemon on the 4th gen I think, so I had little idea about the new eeveelutions.
For my play through to get certain evolution for pokemon like stanler and qwilfish I just murdered every pokemon I find and repeat the same method when run out of moves.
So you know just having fun!
This is my first pokégame so this is all confusing but super helpful
i feel so lucky, i had no idea about the moon thing for ursaluna... i just found the peat block and used it right then LMAO
The whole wanting and Umbreon and getting a Sylveon is EXACTLY what happened to me.
I hated it...until Sylveon soloed the Giratina.
Those ribbony feelers aren't just for decoration. ;)
I’d only call Goodra difficult if you don’t know that you can get Sligoo early. You can get Goodra at the beginning of Crimson Mirelands if you know what you’re doing, while Ursaluna’s is primarily luck
The thing is, i knew about the fairy type move for Sylveon. I just completely forgot or didn't realize the eevee I caught gained baby doll eyes after i caught it. Took me a few times before i suddenly clued in and facepalmed. lol
evolving those in general I think you're right but you can get the evolutions pretty easily with the massive mass outbreak and or in the space-time distortions
So I was doing the clefairy quest that also involves a full moon, thinking it'd take me forever I just randomly checked the area and the cutscene started....I HIGHTAILED it back to camp, not fast traveling thinking it'd change the time, to evolve my alpha ursuring. Most heart racing moment in the game for me 😂
10:55 Woah, I didn't know fish pokemon had scale highlights!
I got really lucky with Goodra because I caught the Alpha Sliggoo early (I was able to jump a water area on Wyrdeer) and since it was already level 50 and raining when it leveled up I could evolve it. I had Goodra before I battled Arcanine!
Great video I agree that the hardest Pokemon to evolve in legends Arceus is Ursaluna because it's pretty hard to control the moon cycle.
Took me about 20 mins maybe longer to evolve ursaluna trying to get the full moon
@@clintbrew Yeah I had to look up where the Peat block is and the easiest way was to dig it up randomly and I tried to get Klevor and I got him just today and took me so long to find the evolutionary item.
@@cdawg4021 i managed to find a peat block for ursaluna in the end via digging that wasnt easy cus it was in a herd of pokemon with an alpha in the swampy area then i got another through a quest (it one of the gone astray missions there a few of them) and it took a while to get black augrite hunting down graveler got one from an alpha
@@clintbrew I think I found the Peat block in the time distortion along with other things like the link cord or the upgrade and dubious disc I have no idea how someone would figure out Ursaling's evolution method by themselves.
I'm a level 8 rank in this game and have NEVER even heard of Overquill! That thing looks insane!!
For the clefairy quest in the game to figure out when a full moon was i just grabbed an ursaring and a peat block and waited until it could evolve. The rideable mons were the hardest to evolve for me because it does not specifically say within the game how to do it which is frustrating. I lovee the link cable what a useful item.
You can get gibble the moment you enter the coronet highlands in a cave. You can also find his evolution in the region, which can immediately be evolved as soon as you catch it as it comes above level 50. If you want a wild garchomp, a level 85 alpha exists in the icelands.
Ha Peet block, had no idea what that was for. ^_^
Thanks for the tip!
Great list mystic
First pokemon game since Emerald lol and was alot of learning needed lol
ursaluna took me 4 hours to evolve. I wasn't even planning on using it but after that effort I felt obligated to. It didn't disappoint though!
All you have to do is keep sleeping until it's a full moon
@@Chronal-Rend i know it took me 4 hours to find the peat block
@@leviolsen7436 ok yea I feel you on that
I, an older Pokémon fan player, was surprised by the Sylveon evolution change. It wasn't until a friend of mine tell me did I find out. I kept thinking "man, if Eevee is getting friendly that fast how am I ever going to get Umbreon or Espeon..." lol
Using Gible as a example, I've bought XP candy to get my faves up to par with my team
My pain evolution had to be Ursaluna, it took me forever to dig up the item, and I must have just missed the full moon because that also took forever resetting for. I stay far far away from any Tediursas cause I dont want the heartbreak of finding a shiny and having to grind again for the full moon. The one I have on my team is perfect hahahah. Im pretty sure its my strongest pokemon attack wise other than kleavor on my team.
I evolved my ursaring from a teddiursa at level 30 as usual, I looked up how to get ursaluna and there was a full moon one night but I didn't have peat moss but it took me forever to find a peat moss and then sleeping until night time over and over until it appeared and I evolved it
It just takes lots of patience and time but I hope my story can inspire you cause I really wanted one
It took about ten minutes to evolve both overquill and wyrdeer. I just wiped the floor with level 4 shinx all over the obsidian field. So while it seems tediius, it’s not so bad. The only hard part is figuring out you need to use one specific move in one specific style 20 times.
The eevolutions was kind of obvious to me and I never played any game but Go and Go Eevee.
Cries in rng
I got traded a Gible super early on, so evolving it was significantly easier than it would've been otherwise!
MysticUmbreon: "There aren't a lot of battles to get this evolution done!"
Wild Pokemon literally everywhere: "Am I a joke to you?"
Now, the next question is which of the Gen 8, damage related evolutions is harder? Runerigus, or Basculegion.
I think Runerigus is harder to figure out, but Basculegion is harder to do.
I agree with Garchomp being on the list. I’m using one on my team since I found it as a shiny Gible when I encountered a outbreak of Gible in the alabasta islands. I know shiny Garchomp isn’t the best shiny Pokémon but I always set a rule for myself to always use any natural shiny I find when playing through a Pokémon game
Honestly the level requirement isn't too terrible. Just go to the alpha Blissey in Obsidian Fieldlands. It gives a good amount of exp and can drop large exp candies.
I got the black augurite on my first dig with ursaluna and peat block on third. The others on the list were pretty easy aswell.
I’ve found that fighting electabuzz and alpha electivire is helpful for garchomp. They only have electric moves
Getting my Ursaluna was a major pain, but dang it was worth it. Ursa was a straight up beast throughout my playthrough.
I just caught an Alpha Sliggoo in the Crimson Mirelands. I believe it's level 48 at the time. Then I level it up twice and then evolve it when it's raining. I had a Goodra before the third area
This is still better than the rage I felt in X & Y having a level 70 Inkay.. and realizing to evolve it you had to hold your 3DS upside down 🙃
Getting Kleavor’s evolution item is so grindy for me, that I still haven’t gotten it
really? I found 3 when not looking for them
Go to an area filled with gravelers and start battling them. They have a chance of dropping the black augurite if they faint. Took me around 30 min to get this item
Along with the Gravelers that Sam Jo mentioned, You can also get the Augurites randomly from digging around with Ursaluna.
I think the Sylveon bit is also factored by the fact that Legends Arceus is a Sinnoh game, so not many would expect any post-Gen 4 Pokemon other than the ones already announced at the time.
So, one would think that there was no way Sylveon is in the game until it's too late.
I stealth spray+razz berry+ gigaton ball+back striked the alpha Garchomp in the Icelands to add a second Garchomp to my dex (The first I raised from a Gible I caught in Wayward Cave) That felt more intense a scenario than half of the lord battles 😅
Sylveon was one of the easier ones to get if you just don't delete Baby-Doll Eyes & keep throwing Sylveon out to break stones & picking up items, it even ends up evolving before umbreon/espeon too
Porygon and Porygon-Z I found in distortion. Ursaluna was the weirdest one because first I thought it was something for the moon because of the name. Didn't know till I got the peat block it was used for it too.
I caught the alpha sligoo and didn't know about the rain thing just thought it leveled up enough lol
8:45 I have a goomy on my team and it JUST got to level 40 it's currently around level 50 like the rest of my team but I want to keep going with it because I really like goodra
I was literally greeted by sylvion when I wanted umbreon. I haven’t played since pearl on the DS
Lol like 4 days ago i was riding ursaluna and the first thing i found was the peat block , almost sold it untill i read the description about a pokemon liking it hah
I am going through the game for the first time and I was being guided through a cave and found gibble under a rock and it felt amazin
I can see why the Eeveelutions are here, if you are a first time player then Sylveon would catch you by surprise say if you wanted Umbreon. It would suck even more if you had a Shiny Eevee and wanted Shiny Umbreon, forgot to save before evolving, and BANG Shiny Sylveon.
Not speaking from personal experience.
As for me, I would say Ursaluna was obviously the hardest, followed by Basculegion. Which was funny because my Basculin was Shiny and I had no idea how to evolve it. LOL
I found the full moon feature via a certain quest. Then it hit me. UrsaLUNA! And it's head have a full moon design.
But my only mistake is I used a moon stone at the very first.
Later to test all the evolution stone. Eventually. Ursaluna :D
That's funny, I got porygons requirements for evolution after like 4 to 5 time distortions lol and I didn't even know he was hard to get.
I found Ursaluna to be the hardest one to obtain. Despite looking online for where to find the peat block, the only one I found was by happenstance by finishing the Gone Astray quests which was never mentioned. Arceus help me if I ever want a shiny one. I doubt I'll ever get another one.
You can find peat blocks through digging for treasure with the Ursaluna mount, but that’s unreliable and takes a while
I think the earliest you can get a Gible is the 4th area you're given access to not that far away from the lord pokemon, next to it is an alpha Gabite, it's not high enough level to evolve like the alpha sligoo, but it's close and also stupid powerful since it's a few levels lower if I remember correctly
You can actually get gible in the coronet highlands in one certain area, and there’s an alpha gabite too.
Fate Grand Order has this same problem: newer characters make use of ascension mats that you can only farm in newer chapters but they circumvent this by having those mats available in event shops. Now with events being region locked, maybe they could add a teleporter available in Mondstat or Liyue which could take you directly to those areas?
I had no idea about Ursaluna. That's...Actually kind of hilarious.
having used ursaluna i can say its worth it so danm much it has insane bulk insane attack that in most cases just blow up any pokemon it faces if it lands a move
