Currently, there are 6 other monitors that use the same panel. HKC G25H4 Machenike MZQ25F240 Thunderobot LQ25F240L ThundeRobot ZQ25F240L SANC G4Q Titan Army P25M2S I ordered that SANC from China. It has a better-tuned overdrive, it has a HDMI 2.1 port, and it supports 10-bit at 240Hz.
i saw a thread on reddit talking about the same thing you specified here, they ended up linking a video to a chinese man that ended up reviewing 24” alike, and in the end he said the sanc g4q was definitely best but the thing is they’re only manufactured in china, and if you’d want it you’d have to import it to the u.s. using an agent and such. I’ve been looking into it for some days now and if you can get it i think it’d definitely be worth it but there’s a lot of set up tbh, where i was looking to purchase the monitor when i was looking was super buy initially, they had the monitor listed for 240$ and when i used the shipping calculator it then specified 100$ for shipping, which is relatively hefty, and then that’s not even the end of spending since that monitor is mainly manufactured in china for that region use, you’d then have to get an adapter which goes from 220 v to 110v or the voltage the u.s. uses, and then as for the plugs china uses they’re different types from the u.s., so you’d then have to get an adapter for the correct type or plug or the outlet, it’s a lot to do and potentially spend, i was going to want that monitor initially but after seeing how much i’d have to do i started looking fkr reviews for the next best thing, and that’s how i got here, the titan army is the only so far that’s 24” 1440p 240hz ips 1 ms, ill probably end up purchasing this one in the end since its infinitely easier to obtain.
its crazy people are saying 1440p is useless on a 24 inch monitor, its such a huge diffrence, more compnaies need to do this and i hope pros will move over to 1440p because its basically the same fps in competitve games since you will be CPU bound anyway and they all play on low and since a lot of pros sit so close to their screen it will help a lot.
It's not just about FPS though. The lower the resolution, the less load there is on the GPU, which means your input latency will reduce. There's a reason most CS players play on a ridiculously low resolution.
@@verttisyrjala2897 if the gpu is not reaching 95% - 100% (which its not in games like valorant especially on low settings) it wont make a diffrence, its the exact same, cs pros play at low res for stretch and because its what theyre used to.

Yeah I just got this monitor it's amazing but I wish it was 22 inches like my Walmart Onn 22 inch that is starting to go out and I wish it had the HDMI slots in the middle of the monitor not like how they have all the slots at the bottom, the 1440p is amazing vs 1080p!

This is it, this is the one we've been waiting for. The PPI of a 4K monitor with a cost cheap enough to be used in a $1100 full setup. And it's 240hz. This will be my next monitor.
If you don't want to break the bank with the OLED prices and are on a TN 1080p I think this is absolutely worth it especially for roughly $260 with the Amazon coupon for the pixel density alone. Also for the higher refresh rate monitors past 240-360hz(~), unless you are strictly playing comp FPS with consistently high 1% lows, playing any demanding single player games will feel like rubbing your nuts through glass. Could also wait for the SANC to reach NA eventually as well as the other comment mentioned.
yeah, on this monitor you should use level 2 overdrive for any game where you can’t get more than 240fps consistently, and you should use level 3 overdrive for competitive games where you can get more than 240 fps consistently

Has anybody done any numerical testing? The problem with pretty much every 240hz 1440p IPS panel these days except the PG27AQN, is barely having 60% refresh compliance and awful motion clarity. Would be nice if this one was actually competitive.
@@Omepp You can get 500 dollar displays in the USA that are TN and can keep up with 240hz, you just have to know what displays are good. You can get a Xl2546x rn for around 400. If you go above that price point though there's not much point in even going LCD anymore. You can find the first gen 1440p 240hz oled displays on sale all the time for around 600 dollars. Which is great man, the display market is getting so saturated that absolutely stunning displays are coming way down in price, I paid a thousand dollars when this LG oled first came out to get it fast, and now its almost half the price at times. But again this is how it is in the USA so maybe things are just very different where you live who knows.
W review nate, all the new tech for monitors always comes out in 27" and 32" inch first, so lame, currently waiting for these exact specs but in OLED. Ill likely be waiting until 2027+.
Because 24 inches is whats used at tournaments. And all the info about upcoming OLED displays show nothing about 24 inches over the next few years. Next new thing is 4k OLED at 27 inches, 4k ultrawides etc.

I had an alienware TN 1080p 240hz and on CS2 it felt solid. Picked this monitor up because I wanted 1440p for more singleplayer type games but still keep 240hz for CS2 and I've noticeably play A LOT worse on it. Not sure if it's the panel's fault or maybe I have to get use to IPS?

From what I’ve heard, the jump from 240 to 360 is noticeable to some, but not worth a huge amount. What I’ve heard is that 240 to 480 for example is much more noticeable.
If you have really good specs then in Esports titles like overwatch, Val, or CS2 you wouldn't even notice an FPS drop because you would be using so little of the GPU and your CPU would be the bottleneck for your FPS. I have a 3080 and the Frame Rate in Val between 1440p and 1080p is almost entirely the same, Ik that's technically a high end card but it is 4 years old at this point, so plenty of people like you will have similar cards (or better). If you don't have enough GPU overhead to push the game at 1440p without losing out on 120 frames then it likely isn't worth the upgrade. Most Esports are designed with high visibility in mind, so resolution isn't gonna help you too much when your opponents are already outlined in red. Plus many of the best players in the world play at low stretched resolutions on games like CS2 anyway, like 1280x960, 1280x1024, and even as low as 1024x768 and 800x600. So resolution isn't much help in Esports. Maybe in something like Arma or Battlefield tho.
Because 1440p on a 24inch display makes the image super small compared to 1080p on 24inch. It's shit. You're just making it harder on yourself. Just play 1080p 540hz if you want a 24inch display.

Only went with it cause my first 2 monitors are Alienware 1080p 240hz and I wanted something to match ( the edges and over look ) now I have all 3 and it looks amazing. Just better options if you wanna be an absolute sweat at the game 😂
Same here with my PG27AQN. I specifically got this monitor bc it claims to be able to change to 25in mode, but it doesn't work for everything and is tedious to set up. I still think my XL2546K is better and I would honestly get the new Zowie 540hz over the 1440.
Highest setting overdrive on ips monitors often cause horrible pixel overshoot. Its often the only reason they can market ips monitors as ''1ms'' response time even theu it looks horrible in real use and i dont know if this is any different. I hope people with measurement tools will get their hands on these soon so we can see what overdrive mode is the best.
There's a review of this monitor from another guy who used measurement tools. Level 2 Overdrive seems to be perfect, 0,1% inverse ghosting and achieves perfect refresh compliance
Or get that lg panel that allows you to use 32in 4k @ 240hz and then swap to 25in 1080p 480hz. While being an Oled. Pricey but it's pretty cool. But I truly agree, 25in monitor is the best and I too stuggle with larger sized monitors. Makes it annoying to see everything on screen easily when the monitor size and bigger. Larger monitors are just ideally for productivity and content consumption.
There are still problems even with that display. If you use the smaller modes to make the display size lower it has to scale the image on screen, well the displays built in scaler is AWFUL, it'll make your 25 inch display look like you're running at 640x480 real quick.
@@Omepp There's already reviews on UA-cam with measurement tools used, with Level 2 Overdrive this monitor gets around 3ms (perfect refresh compliance) with no inverse ghosting, which is better than a LOT of IPS 27 inch 1440p 240HZ monitors that are way more expensive

me too, i got a LG 27 inch oled best buy and took it back because it was too big for RTS and FPS i play. but 27 is ok for general page browsing etc.

tn panel doesn't manage to have 4.1 in total response time ig it's pretty obvious that it isn't 240hz.Even 500€ monitors can't

Freesync and gsync are basically the same thing these days, and Freesync works with Nvidia GPUs.

Pixel overshoot can be present on any monitor, even on OLEDs. This monitor doesn't have overshoot on its highest overdrive, at 240hz.
