That first album man! Think i was 15 and was listening to stuff like Papa Roach etc...and i was absolutely terrified of Slipknot, but I felt like I had to fight my fear...bought the album and could only listen to little bits, before becoming really anxious and had to turn it off. Any band who can do that to a person has to be a genius. Now i've finally listened to the album all the way through, and i feel like i've had a religious experience. Thanks Paul, for forming this special band
@0kurotenshi0 I dunno, I've never really had much trouble. If I need to slap I just tuck the pick away and bang it out. but wether it's easier or not I don't really have a basis for comparison
@slayersbeast98 Not really... The band that really started the nu metal scene was Korn, and Faith No More and Mr. Bungle are the bands that has had the most influence on nu metal bands.
