Headset cover rubbing issue is VERY common unfortunately. Apparently plastic is harder to build to tolerance. I've built 3 separate branded bikes with different headset covers rubbing. All different manufacturers for the headset covers too. I'd say that issue is more on Farsports not Tavelo. Sanding down the plastic cover is fine. Another fix is installing a very skinny shim or 2 under the cover to raise the headset cover so that it doesn't touch the frame.
Yeah I couldnt fit a micro-shim (post bike build) because of the design of FarSports' bearing race/clip that sits between the top bearing and plastic headset cover. The hydro cables prevent any shim from sitting flush.

SEKA's geometry isn't close to Tavelo at all. For my size 56 the SEKA Exceed has 21mm taller stack, and 3mm less reach. Considering I'm already on the extreme size limits for a 56, those differences are significant. Especially the stack height. Hi Patrick, loved the video with lots of great insight. Hey bruh.... I noticed that you are a big fan of Chinese frame sets... Well obviously because of their price tags.. They are budget friendly frame set.. But how about the ICAN A9 frame set? I wonder if you may be interested on building them too.. 1100$ I presume...
I bought two Allez Sprints and a Giant Propel for that reason. Having perspective from a big brand is a important, and my Propel is the best bike I've ridden. I considered the ICAN A40 (same frame as the Cincelli Pressure, UCI-approved) but $1100 is approaching Winspace and Tevelo Territory. ICAN needs to be closer to $700-$800.
Hi, is that the same frame like the lightcarbon LCR017-D? Do Lightcarbon produce this frame? It has T47 BB instead of BB86 but otherwise they look the same to me.
I wish these Chinese bike companies would get some help naming their companies/bikes. Tavelo Velobuild Yoeleo Winspace Elves Tan Tan All these bikes look great but I would opt for a non branded version of these bikes to not have the name on the downtube.

How is that long term review coming along? Any issues?
1000km. Absolutely no issues. It's a lovely bike!
When are you going to get the Arow?
My selected color is currently in production 👍🏾
Patrick - was going to ask what do you prefer the Tavelo or the Propel ? would love to hear your comments (I'm a Giant guy but thinking of building up a Tavelo myself)....cheers.
Any specific details in particular?
Ride quality - lively/nimble(TCR) or muted/fast(Propel) - this is how i classify my bikes..the Holy Grail is Aero + lively/nimble - was hoping the Tavelo is closer to the TCR vs Propel in ride quality ? @@PatrickLino
Very beautiful bike next video review this bike and test
That's the plan. Will take some time since it's Winter here 😭
What are the geometry specs?
Sick bike though……..

@@PatrickLino Is there a geometry chart? Can’t find one on there site.

Can you do a TIDEACE FM-CRO25 super light frame build and review? They seem solid but interested in what you might think if you can do this build.
Been chatting with them for a month. Not sure of the plans yet.
@@PatrickLino 👍
Dude wer did u film this?

@@PatrickLino lol yes I know that. That work shop looks like a team headquarters.
Hi, is that the same frame like the lightcarbon LCR017-D? Do Lightcarbon produce this frame? It has T47 BB instead of BB86 but otherwise they look the same to me.
Tavelo produces this frame. This is not a Light Carbon frame.
@@PatrickLino I´m going to build the LCR017-D as soon it will be delivered. Thats why iam interested in some content of the Frame ;)
whats the cost in the frameset?
Check Panda Podium’s website
How long did it take from Order to Deliver?
About 2 weeks once painted and shipped.
Was it a custom color for more $$$? I don't see that color available on panda podium 🤔

Thank god theyre not corny over at Tavelo.
Remember when Winspace had "BUILT TOUGH" inscribed on their 1-piece handlebar cockpits? Yeah...I'm still trying to forget that too.
Looks like Hygge Model S
Never heard of that.
I m 189cm tall, m I go to size 58?
Best to check the geometry chart and compare to your current bike.

I wish these Chinese bike companies would get some help naming their companies/bikes.
Tavelo
Velobuild
Yoeleo
Winspace
Elves
Tan Tan
All these bikes look great but I would opt for a non branded version of these bikes to not have the name on the downtube.
You are not wrong in your viewpoint. I'm just too busy riding my bikes to notice or have an opinion on it myself.
Hygge... would be good to see a try at it ! Hygge model S
That is possible. If you are company you can buy the frame+fork+seat post. No paint, hangers, bolts, headset or anything else.
@@pennetierphilippe8529 Even considering the $500 price, I have some questions about their build quality. Keep in mind Hygge is just a sales brand/agent. Not a factory or OEM supplier.
Those issues are pretty disappointing for that price tbh, especially the decals and issues screwing in the through axles. But it's early days for this company. Also, their Chinese competitors provide handlebars. Seems like a good crit bike.
I've built up tolerance with troubleshooting bike build quirks like these. End of the day carbon frames are being made by humans. Still annoying but not anything that can't be resolved.

just doesn't do it for me and the name, yikes- tevelo/cervelo. can't get past it
You weren't gonna buy it anyway.
