I miss the days where action figures came with accessories like a display stand props, comic books, and trading cards, as well as weapons and power fx but now a days, the only accessories that comes with a fingers are changeable hands and we'll be lucky if we get an alternate head, I mean not even a display stand.
He does still seem to be very salty but there is a possibility as Marvel and Star Wars are both tired IPs at this moment. You can understand Hasbro wanting out.
@ yes absolutely. But if the valaverse/3poa crew has been so salty and causing so much drama, that has to be factored into the equation. Their credibility is a little sus
Jada Toys acquiring Marvel could be better for everyone as they could keep up the scale. McFarlane most common mistake with their figures is that they seem to design figures in a pre posed stance amd just throw articulation over them. It's not the case of Knightfall Batman and other recent releases and that leads me to think they improved so much that it doesn't make sense for them to lose the license. And even some of their First releases receive a lot of praise, like Action Comics 1000 Superman with single jointed elbows. I personally like McFarlane's DC multiverse, the infected Superman body mold held up really well with multiple relelases and there are so many good releases like the BvS figures, the Justice League movie figures, TDKR build a horse, Bane and so many other, most of the movie figures are great or salvageable. If you just look how easy it is to improve Hush Superman for example..it just doesn't make sense for them to lose the license.
You might change your mind, some people are all in on Hot Tous and not only they're expensive, they are very limited in articulation. I don't mean to be that annoying guy but if you have interest, takes a look at Bones review on Knightfall Batman. He explains why the thigh cut is not as much a big deal as people make it look like. DC figures from McFarlane are great imo, another one you can check is Anthony's Customs review on Blight. I know it sucks to change, it's uncomfortable but these are luxury items, no one needs them, actually our lives gets better without them, less money spent, more space available and less trouble dealing with these things.
Hasbro has a good figure every once in a while. Most of the time their head sculpts look too uncanny valley. They don’t look like the comic book character. Hasbro needs to go.
I pray hasbro gets dc, all I’ve wanted for years is some good quality 6 inch dc figures to go alongside my marvel collection, and with the dcu about to kick off now is a good time
The shake up is hasbro is changing factories in 2025 So anything under the banner of Marvel legends Black series And gi Joe classified will be delayed around 6 - 8 months But they aren't losing their license Just do the research
That is correct all these people listening to these UA-camrs who know nothing about what they're talking about kills me. Even worse Hasbro can't actually lose star wars, they own it in perpetuity which means they own it forever unless they decide they don't want it.
I doubt Hasbro loses the Marvel license. While I like McFarlane's DC Multiverse line, I'd rather DC moves on from them. I would love for Jazwares or Jada Toys to get the DC license.
As much as I adore Mcfarlane, i dont think he's right for articulated figures such as DC Multiverse. He, as much as possible, tries to turn them into statues which is super annoying. Cant even keep up with scaling, accessories and articulation of characters. I am tired of having to depend on Mafex or other imports all the time for a decent 1/12 DC Figure. I am also not a fan of mcfarlanes collector edition. Pricier than the regular releases with standard accessories that the character is supposed to have as well as the chase editions. He's too ambiguous when it comes to these things. Mcfarlane can stick to the statues. I need someone else who can go toe to toe with Hasbro, Jada and Mafex 6in figures.
This won't be a disaster if Mattel takes Marvel, and Hasbro takes DC. Mattel already worked on six scale in the past, and He-Man waves are getting better and better. Hasbro already had experience with Marvel, DC will be very smooth for them. Mcfarlane taking Marvel will be a big mistake, even more if they want to make this on seven scale, the monsters, and BAF will be great, probably will be the only appealing sale point for everyone.
Some of them are but McFarlane has made some amazing figures. The first appearance Batman for example has some amazing range of motion for a 7 inch figure.
I hope that Hasbro keep the marvel Legends license. Because I like to collection marvel Legends.

I only need 2 or 3 figs to finish up my marvel shelves so i dont really care . I highly doubt jada has the production capacity to take over any disney license they take forever to release 2 or 3 figs a year .
Competition is good for everyone. If they become different scales or whatever your collection doesnt suffer it just stops. A new player might invigorate collectors or bring more people in. Thats what happebed when McFarlane took over the dc line.
This. Imagine marvel split the 6 inch license between say, hasbro and mattel or jada. There would be direct competition at the cheaper price point. Then they would all up their game and try to out do the other. competition is healthy and brings out the best. Hasbro just pop out repaint after repaint, because, well, what other options are there at the 20-30 bucks price point?
If Jada Toys gets the marvel license that would be a great upgrade to marvel toy line. Hasbro needs a competitor because they currently have a monopoly on the 6 in marvel scale and they produce a lot of subpar quality figures. Competition could help elevate the quality of Hasbro's products. I think multiple companies should get a crack at marvel 6in and allow us the consumer to judge what we like instead of one company given us whatever.
Same thing with McFarlane. They’re the only company that’s able to make multiple DC characters into figures. It’s frustrating because scale isn’t 6”. With Marvel, you have option of 6” and 7”.
Do u think DC sells more figures with McFarlane or did they sell more with Mattel? Honestly, i bought more Mattel but I'm curious what other collectors think?🤔
Hasbro can never lose star wars. The Rights can never come up as they have it in perpetuity. Kenner signed a guaranteed forever deal with George Lucas and hasbro owns Kenner so Hasbro can never lose star wars. That's what you get for listening to people on UA-cam who don't know what they're talking about
@archmage7813 you still lose the license when you sell it. There's no need to be argo about it. Perhaps that is why there are 7812 archmages ahead of you.
@HasBruce did you read what you wrote? It's nonsense. I think you are claiming that Hasbro would lose the license when they sell it. I mean yes when you sell something you give it to the person you're selling it to. So yeah if Hasbro sold it they would not lose it but they would be selling it. So selling it is not losing it. I mean your comment is written as if an 8 year old wrote it and it's not very intelligent.
I truly hope Hasbro do not lose the licenses certainly not both of them but it’s about how much money they are making from these toys. The figures for SW are mostly repaints or kitbashes and that is because the range isn’t very successful. But no matter what it feels like it comes down to business and money and not what we want.
I think it would be better for the licensers and for the buyers if the license would not be exclusive to one company. That way, at least Hasbro can continue to make their product, plus we get to see what other companies like Jada can do with either Marvel or Star Wars. Of course, that's not good for Hasbro since that may reduce profits
I sold off all of my Matell when McFarland got the license. Then after getting a dozen McFarland figs I switched to Mafex. Now I rebuy dc direct from McFarland on top of Mafex. This hobby is too expensive.
You’re right Hasbro isn’t making any improvements. They have terrible proportions most of the time and they refuse to fix it. They drop a gem here and there, but with no consistency. McFarlane is just trash in general. If he gets the license then kiss marvel legends good bye. Jada would be the best option, but I don’t they’re big enough to push out that many figures on a regular basis.
Hasbro has been laying people off and downsizing. They also got burned by Disney pretty bad with Marvel and Star Wars. They also have too many brands that they can't successfully manage all of them without competing with themselves. I'd be really surprised if Hasbro doesn't lose either Marvel, Star Wars or both.
More like Hasbro would let it go. It's not their fault that some of these Disney Marvel and Disney Star Wars projects are garbage and them having to make figures off of them that don't sell.
I think it's a stalemate. Hasbro hasn't done a great job with the finances. But the MCU/Star Wars IP isn't worth much either. Both of the figures from those licenses are peg warming. Only thing that really sold recently was X-Men 97 and Deadpool 3 (but they didn't even have products ready for release). So it's hard to say at this point. If was a smaller company like Jada that's just moving up I would only take the Marvel comics licence but wouldn't touch SW or MCU with a ten foot pole, especially making a name with SF, I wouldn't risk losing our growth. I would rather apply for the Mortal Kombat licence and stick to gaming

Valaverse started this rumor, remember he got fired from marvel and has been jaded ever since. They are always storing the pot
He does still seem to be very salty but there is a possibility as Marvel and Star Wars are both tired IPs at this moment. You can understand Hasbro wanting out.

Real
Yeah, they mess up sometimes but they do take fan criticism quite well and have possibly the best headsculpts overall in an action figure line
Hasbro has a good figure every once in a while. Most of the time their head sculpts look too uncanny valley. They don’t look like the comic book character. Hasbro needs to go.

Yeah, Hasbro would be crazy to let the Marvel and Star Wars license go.
That's not a choice of Hasbro, that's a Disney choice. We can say whatever we want, we don't know.
No one knows what’s happening though.
@@archmage7813Oh get real they do not own it in perpetuity do some basic research.
I doubt Hasbro loses the Marvel license. While I like McFarlane's DC Multiverse line, I'd rather DC moves on from them. I would love for Jazwares or Jada Toys to get the DC license.
Tired of Hasbro slacking with accessories. Spider-Man especially
Then don’t buy them.
I don't. Shockingly that hasn't helped
@@neockwon2099 It actually does help people to stop complaining about it, you are different. They are just $25 bro so don’t expect a lot.
They are literally toys for children, you see them in the kids’ toys isle 😂
Yeah, but I'm 100% certain the majority of Purchases are for Adults

I hope that does not happen, even though Hasbro has its problems they do make great figures
I hope hasbro keeps marvel at least. They really have the library amd are deep. I'd hate to start over with it with a new style and maybe scale
Exactly my point! As much as I want something “new” I would hate to have to start all over with my collection…especially if it’s a different scale.
Hasbro makes Marvel figures look great. I still hope they get DC. Mcfarlane figures are just statues lol
Some of them are but McFarlane has made some amazing figures. The first appearance Batman for example has some amazing range of motion for a 7 inch figure.
Marvel Legends are basically repacked happy meal toys. McFarlane produce genuine collectables while Hasbro make toys. There’s a difference.
I didn’t even stop to think about that but you have a valid point. The Street Fighter line takes forever for each release…
@MilkMustaches007 yep
I hope Jada Toys will get Marvel. ML is not good for it's price
What is the point in digital figures?, like they seem usles to me
If Marvel and Star Wars move, I’m done. Not starting over.
Competition is good for everyone. If they become different scales or whatever your collection doesnt suffer it just stops. A new player might invigorate collectors or bring more people in. Thats what happebed when McFarlane took over the dc line.
Tbh the biggest reason I feel like McFarlane Toys’ DC Multiverse didn’t hit it off with me was because of it being not to scale with other lines
I like the way Masterverse scales with DC Multiverse, and that's a line from Mattel. I also like the interchangeability of Masterverse and Origins.
This. Imagine marvel split the 6 inch license between say, hasbro and mattel or jada. There would be direct competition at the cheaper price point. If another company picks up Marvel, and they do not match Hasbro's Marvel Legends figures I'll be walking away.
Can someone tell me what version of Batman that is at 0:10
Arkham knight
I really hope that if Hasbro does lose the license it goes to Jada Instead of Mcfarlane, they are just the best low end 1/12 guys atm
If Jada Toys gets the marvel license that would be a great upgrade to marvel toy line. Jada is also doing cyberpunk figures, theyre collecting properties like infinity stones
Jazwares is a strong contender in the action figure collector game to keep an eye on too.😮
I think it would be cool for Beast Kingdom to take Marvel license.
I had completely forgotten about the Beast Kingdom line. They have made some great DC figures in the past.
Hoping for Jada Toys or Jazwares to make Invincible Figures 🙂↕️🙏
This might be a stretch but I hope they make a deal with McFarlane to make 6.5 inch Spawn Figures too fingers crossed

Short answer. No.
Does any Marvel Legends collector REALLY want to start over again?
I’d love to see Jada make marvel 6 inch line. And allow mcfarlane to make a 7 inch line. Issues with mcfarlane is over designed and mediocre articulation. And i don’t know if Jada can produce head sculpts that are based on mcu actors. I think hasbro should lose most rights to marvel, keep Star Wars, and focus on gi joe and transformers. But i wouldn’t mind them getting DC direct line. Mcfarlane clearly doesn’t want the line too much. Aside from statues. Which I’d expect would be simple to still produce under the collectors or page punchers moniker.
In all gains & losses
mcfarlane: DC multiverse/collectors DC page punchers & a “marvel page punchers” equivalent. Loses DC direct
Hasbro: DC direct black series gi Joe & transformers. Loses exclusive rights to marvel “articulated” figures but maintains some rights to make marvel products
Jada gains rights to 6 in marvel line as industry diversifies oem contracts
McFarland would give us vehicles fir black series
They not loosing it they letting it go to focus on digital gaming
i heard jada got Mortal Kombat also that will come out next year
I would love that! They should keep giving us more retro gaming lines.
If Trump goes in on tariffs - toys absolutely will cost a great deal more - which is not a good deal.

Hasbro will likely not renew there license
i know jada mention landing a very popular line coming up oon so maybe

The legends line has stagnated. Their figures still look like they did 10 years ago. I get collectors want uniformity, but that means sacrificing ingenuity and excitement. If hasbro keep the license, i guarantee in 5 years we will still get characters on the vulcan buck.
You dont know!
i hope so, they are terrible and lazy
Hasbro has been awful for Marvel. I don't know if there is a likelihood that Hasbro loses the Marvel licence, but I personally think they should. The figures are no better than children's toys, mostly, and I say that as a massive Marvel geek.
The marketing of DP3 was a disaster.
Finally… hopefully marvel legends goes to a company that’ll make better figures.
Jada getting Marvel would be amazing. Tired of Hasbro trash
