Origins is a very different thing, especially for people in the 40s years old range. Apart from the legs, they're very good representation of the vintage Masters of the Universe line which un my opinion has some of the best sculpts I've seen, in the female figures, they're definitely improved from the original, although any of the He-man figures are as good as the original 80s release. I'm looking forward for the Thundercats crossover in the Origins line. Super 7 doesn't do appealing figures to me, too expensive.
The only thing I can commend super 7 for is they've updated the engineering. The ball joint for the waist is alright. Otherwise it's over priced. Crap 😕
Neca mostly caters to a small niche audience because majority of their product is Horror based… not everyone wants a lot of these bloodied figures on a shelf.. it would probably be better for them to just go the subscription route.. or crowd funding sorta like Mattel creations.. where if you as a consumer really want a specific figure.. you go and pick it up exclusively on their website.. granted they’ve had issues doing online stuff too but really would make the most sense imo. I do have a few mcfarlane figures.. I’d probably say a handful.. not large.. mostly because I wanted a cheap batman figure that wasn’t an import and a few of the mortal Kombat line mostly because they were gifts.. but not my favorite figures at all and.. I don’t prominently have them displayed.. 😬 I did have them displayed at one point but they tend to not pose very well and take so much space being larger figures and fall over too often or stand awkwardly.. on the Neca side I only opted to pick up the original Movie turtles, the core 4, Casey, shredder, splinter and 2 foot.. oh and the 4 Eastman and Laird comic versions.. and 2 lest Ronin figures that were gifted to me.. that’s all I need.. got a Arnold terminator figure.. that’s pretty much the extent of my Neca collection.. I don’t need to dive deep into every turtles line… super7 I like the concept of the reaction figures… I’ve never liked the price.. for a 5 poa figure.. I’ve gotten Star Wars TVC figures new on card for $10 each.. more accessories, articulation and paint apps, of their ultimates line I got 2 figures, the Matt Cardona and Brian Myers MWFP wrestling guys.. only to get them signed.. they’re not really great figures imo.. a lot of hype
Super7 prices disgust me. Always have. They have some pieces that interest me but the price just keep me away. I only bought the Gi Joe Ultimates wave 1 line from Entertainment Earth but that was when they went on sale for $9.99 each.
Yes S7 is a smaller company but for the Quality of the product doesn't equal the price. I would pay $100 a figure if the figure was perfect in every aspect . But in reality we are getting Loose Joints, Terrible Articulation, Seriously bad Paint Application (Lion-0) was horrendous, so all in all I bet they get those Ultimates for about $10 a figure from the factory. Even accounting for every other cost, they are probably still Tripling there investment each run. To be honest I kinda gave up on Thundercats because I couldn't find the Characters I needed eg (Slithe, Tigra) and along with the Bad QC like the Paint I have said, sodd u Super 7.
Articulation is bottom tier? I wouldn’t say that. Some of their deluxe figures are very limited however, some of their Batman figures as well as that Blue Beetle body mold have some great articulation. It’s not a perfect but they’re definitely not the worst.
I’d rather have a Tony sapranos along with other characters from that show, along with other shows like tru blood Eric Northman bill Compton, definitely need a super 7 supernatural wave with Sam , dean , John Winchester , castiel, Crowley, death
You cannot be talking shit about Super 7 while praising McShitlane. They both suck on their own merits, but the 5 POA line is way more fun to collect than the page punchers. Nobody cares about the same dc heroes over and over and over....
Super7 is basically an expensive version of Mattel
They are. They just make toys for IPs that don’t sell like McFarlane’s or Mattel’s or a Hasbro.

I’ve been watching a lot of hunt videos where people are actually finding them at like Ross nowadays….crazy

I've bought a ton of figures and that Lion-O at Target is the absolute worst I've ever spent money on.

Would be nice to see some FOOTAGE of super7 figures as an example....
Super 7 is killing themselves with those prices..... Doesn't even cost $5 to make the figures.
Mcfarlane is the absolute cheapest feeling and looking. Molds and articulation are also bottom tier.
Lies
@ hollow fodder. Destined for Ross shelves.

@ yes. Bottom tier. Below most. They are not a benchmark for any those factors. I think to your point fans buy them blindly.

Super doodoo
Crazy way to start the video btw
Honestly I seen not too much kind words....especially with thier wrestling figures

McFarlane is the McDonald’s of action figures. 💩 and a lot of it. Super7 is a rip and Hasbro is rubbish too.
Lies
I wouldn’t necessarily be that harsh. They each have some figures worth picking up. They’re definitely not perfect…
