I like the concept you came up for with “world’s finest” It’s clear that Batman is out of his league since this is a version of the character who has no experience fighting superhumans, and as such wouldn’t have the experience needed to adapt, but he does use his brain to weasel his way out of some of these battles. Really leans into that “greatest detective” side of his character by having him symbolize the best way to end the conflict instead of settling things with his fists. Although I will say if I changed one thing about the film, I think it would be neat if Bruce (despite turning down the wedding invite) could be seen by Clark watching from a rooftop as Batman. Bruce is covering for Clark so that Superman can enjoy a nice honeymoon, but Superman is able to see Bruce from a mile away with the two exchanging a subtle but meaningful nod Edit: I just got to the end of the video and realized the wedding doesn’t happen until the justice league movie. Still I think the idea of Bruce officially stash that he isn’t going to attend, but still watching and giving his support from the shadows is very in character for someone like Batman

I appreciate that you kept Aquaman as Jason Momoa. I hope we get a more accurate Arthur Curry in the DCU, but I think we needed a SERIOUSLY cool Aquaman like Momoa first to get the whole Robot Chicken/Entourage stereotype out of people's heads. That said, this was before Game of Thrones, so I'm not sure Momoa would have gotten it

The brilliance of Momoa was that he was the badass Aquaman and the "outrageous" Aquaman (by way of guiness-drinking surfer hippie aka his real life self) in one. He was only really focused on making the first saga center around Ultron. He didn't say he wanna continue it. Though he did say that the second will focus more on the cosmic side of the MCU which I could also imagine the introduction of the Guardians of the Galaxy and since Disney bought Fox, they could introduce the X-Men early and have Charles form the X-Men because he was encouraged by The Avengers (who saved the world from Ultron) to form the X-Men not only to protect the world but to prove that mutants can be helpful to society. As for the Fantastic Four, just give them the same treatment as the Guardians of the Galaxy.

The reason is most of the structure you did is similar to what I would've done. Before planning 3 phases, stick to 1 first, slowly develop the characters. I actually had a plan like this since I was little. This is ACTUALLY similar to my idea. So, seeing this is very inspiring. Makes me want to fulfill my plan of structuring a DC Phase 1. So, thank you and can't wait to see your Phase 2.

Personally, I’d want an entire movie set on krypton with Jor-el as the main character. I can understand why some people might not like the idea, but I feel like it could be done well. There’s a novel called the last days of krypton that I would use as a general idea for the plot.

A better idea for the wedding subplot in the World's Finest is having Lois struggling to find a cheap and good apartment for her and Clark to live. At the end Bruce would still reject Clark's wedding invitation but secretly bought them a good apartment to live. This was an actual plot in Superman's wedding comic, and it really reflects Bruce's character as a friend.

I have a pitch for something like that, a Sinister Six trilogy: First One: similar to what Drew Goddard was writing, an introduction. Second One: ends of the earth + the prelude to Superior Spider-man Third One: The Superior Six
The only thing I disagree with in this is that batman in a lot of the scenes is so powerless. Even though he doesn't have powers he shouldn't be totally outmatched by superman or bizarro even though this isn't very far into his story. I do think he should lose and everything should stay the same, I just think it should be somewhat even.

My idea of a perfect Phase 1 is this: 1. Superman: Brainiac is the villain, with Luthor and Metallo being secondary ones. Clark is with Lana Lang, but they break up at the end to set up Clark and Lois. There's a brief cameo by The Flash, and the ending shows that a pod containing Martian Manhunter was recovered from Brainiac's ship. 2. Batman: A movie mainly inspired by Hush or any other that showcases several villains. 3. World's Finest: Tensions between Batman being cautious about Superman and Superman seeing Batman as a crazy vigilante are put aside when a mind controlled Martian Manhunter becomes a threat. Also, Metallo returns thanks to Lex as well, and it turns out that Metallo was the one who killed the Waynes(an idea hinted at in Public Enemies, but it proved to be false). 4. Wonder Woman: Aquaman has a supporting role as Wonder Woman must confront one of her villains which is also getting help from Ocean Master or Black Manta. 5. Justice League: Surviving villains from the past movies unite against the heroes, with Flash getting a proper introduction along with Green Lantern.
Oh sure, but I figured that establishing most of the league would be sufficient enough for the first phase before he and GL get there own solo titles. Perhaps Flash could be the audience surrogate in sense, being less experienced than the others. Elements established about him in the JL movie could then be explored in Phase 2.

EDIT: forgot to preface that this is obviously my opinion So in a universe with no Nolan trilogy, we definitely would get a Batman origin movie again and in Batman Year One Batman is 26 since Bruce returns 18 years after his parents died when he was 8 (and many other comic continuities he starts off in his early to mid 20s) which means in '08 Battinson was actually the perfect age for an origins Batman and would have actually been able to grow with the role instead of filling so many other boots
