Revolution Front Row POV | Blackpool Pleasure Beach's Classic Arrow Shuttle Loop
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 тра 2024
- There's only a handful of Arrow shuttle loops left in operation, and the one at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is still riding strong! This short, simple ride may only have 2 drops and a loop, but boy does it give some great airtime!

this ride is so so smooth for its age
Arrow was never all that bad at profiling drops and hills. I mean, they were, but they're tolerable. It's turns and anything with a radius they simply couldn't get right. I always felt like they never actually lined multiple pieces up in the factory. Just made one piece, it went to sandblasting or whatever, and adjusted the template piece by piece. Instead of ever considering those pieces connected as a whole. We know much better was possible at the time, just looking at Schwarzkopf.

It never ceases to amaze me how short and low the hill needs to be to get a coaster through a loop. The old arrows can sometimes crawl through a freaking loop lol
It did get “launched” which gave it more momentum tho (although the launch was really really slow, still extra momentum)
The best arrow coaster in the UK.
I looks really fun! I’m so amazed by how that park fits so many rides in the small area!
Was on it today and its best underrated arrow coaster.
This exactly like the Diamondback at Frontier City in Oklahoma. The drops going forwards and backwards feel different from each other and have good airtime. There's a machine behind the last car that helps push it when it launches. The downside is that the seats are very hard plastic and uncomfortable.
I’ve been on the one at Elitch Gardens. The ejector you get going backwards is insane
Love this ride. Needs another repaint and some airgates. And the audio sounds like something from a 1980s toothpaste advert. But it’s always good retro fun.
9/10 dentists agree that you should stand behind the yellow line.
@@PiousMoltar 😅
Looks smooth ngl
Please Stand Behind Yellow Line
I remember when it was Irn Bru
A classic...
The whole frame moves like 3ft up and down as the coaster launches and it’s terrifying
SFA once had an identical coaster known as python. If you were on the staircase leading up to the load platform the entire structure would shake whenever a train was launched.
looks really fun
A very quick Boomerang... yeah.
It would be cool to see this concept with LSMs and a longer layout. Maybe made by chance so it would have the similar track type. Might be a nice replacement for this when it gets removed.
A Vekoma Super Boomerang would be perfect in this plot of land, same concept but modernised
@@c.james1 i misread it sorry, I’ll delete the reply
@@smaz9 would be awesome
This has nothing to do with Blackpool, but I went to Great Escape today and got an early ride on The Bobcat. So good! Def best coaster at the park
love to hear it!
Running like a dream in the morning, but in the afternoon, closed cuz the final break run wouldn’t release. The staff had to take guests out of the train on the final breaks, and it was closed for the rest of the day. In the morning it was dispatching every 45 secs
I only got 1 ride, but it was in the second to back row. So good! The ejector pops were awesome, and I love the timberliner trains by gravity group. Overall, really well done!
grand opening is June 1st, but they were doing guest testing on opening weekend
you guys should definintly take time to go to great escape to ride it!
Great coaster👌😎
This model is so strange for what Arrow Dynamics usually makes.
I’m back again asking about Fuji q highland, they just announced that both Takabisha and Fujiyama will be closed the day of my visit and I’m not sure anymore if I should go, is it still worth visiting Fuji Q highland?
This is my last time I will be asking you this question. 😅
cool
How many of these are left?
This and two others I think?
It s not that bad 🙃
