My favorite Arrow coaster is different, but that could be because I haven't gotten to ride Magnum. As much as I love X2 as an Arrow coaster, I would actually pick Shock Wave at SFGA as my favorite. It was so intimidating, with one of the sharpest looking paint schemes, bright, electric blue track and white supports. I am lucky enough to have ridden it when it was brand new and was super smooth. I was also lucky enough to have ridden Vortex at King's Island when it was brand new, but Shock Wave has the edge. I am eternally sad that I never got to ride Drachen Fire, but at least I still have Viper at SFMM.
I'm so glad to see RTH on here. I think that this ride is so much perfect...it has the perfect level of intensity in my opinion and it's also aestetically beautiful. The elements of the first half of rth are more about fun and disorientation than intensity , and this is good because you can enjoy more the intensity of the 2nd half without being too sick after those in the 1st, and the intensity just keeps building up! Also, while the 2nd half focuses more on airtime, the 1st is more about hangtime and positives, so there's a combination of every force you could have in a coaster, toghether with the out of control feeling, without being too much or too monotonous (like only focusing on airtime or only inversions). If you put more elements in the same lenght for making the ride more intense, they risk to be too next to each other and, combined with the spinning, you are probabily not able to enjoy each one, because they're blended together. There's too much happening. And you'll probabily end up being sick at the end of the ride, so it won't be so re-rideable. And considering this ride is already too intense for many people, I think that "more intense" doesn't mean "better". Of course the layout could be even more extreme on paper, but remember that's not a ordinary coaster. The fact of being always different and re-rideable, of not being too intense (for many people it still is), of having a mix of all the forces you can imagine on a coaster and giving you that out of control feeling with some of the craziest elements ever are the things that make rth perfect in my opinion. This combined with the Tomorrowland theming, which is very unique and lovely.
Kentucky kingdom is criminally slept on. Storm chaser and lightning run combine for a legit great 1-2 punch and Kentucky flyer and thunder run are both fun for what they are.
Have you ever done a best theming video? I went on Iron Menace over the weekend. The theming had to do with a Pennsylvania paranormal team investigating some guy named McTavish because he burned down an iron factory (or something like that). Weird...but I appreciate them trying. I will take any theming over no theming (talking to you Pantheon). A worst theming video would be fun too.

Brilliant concept for a video & even more brilliant execution. This a fantastic video & I'd love to see a ranking of all 31 overall, though I'm sure that'd be MUCH more subjective & much more difficult. Fantastic stuff!!
Great list. At first I was shocked you gave TT2 to Zamperla but since they altered the layout it makes since. Looking forward to the inverse of this video.
Tornado at M&D's hasn't been scrapped. In fact, it has been relocated to Parc d'attractions Marseillan Plage in southern France, where it still operates to this day
Honestly, you might move Togo up this list once you ride Fujiyama. It’s an excellent coaster with very strong forces. Plus it has ridiculous views of Mount Fuji, which adds a lot for atmosphere. I’d also bet money that Steel Dragon 3000 replaces Phantom’s Revenge as your favorite Morgan once you get on it.
I rode Fujiyama and steel dragon 2000 this year and I found fujiyama to be very rough and poorly tracked in the second half while the first half was kind of basic while being fast. Steel dragon was my favorite coaster in Japan along with Eejanaika and flying dinosaur. Steel dragon is just huge with so much airtime while being smooth enough to ride it 8 times in a row. I enjoyed my ride in Fuyjiyama but didn't go for a reride with how painfull it was.
I just got to ride my 1st ever RMC in Stunt Pilot at Silverwood! I need to ride Cannibal again to see who's my #1. And yes, that twisted airtime hill is wicked, more wicked than Wicked at Lagoon. **I also rode Stunt Pilot 4 times, once in the front, twice in the middle, and once in the very very back**
During a trip to ride rollercoasters in the Midwest in the summer of 2022, I had 2 days at Cedar Point, and when I was in the queue for Steel Vengeance on my first day (they were initially running the ride with TWO trains), they added the third one so that the ride was running at full capacity. That's the tallest, fastest, and longest RMC Hybrid I'VE ever ridden!
We had a 4 park road trip last week, SFA, SFGA, Knoebels and Hershey Park, and my biggest disappointment was El Toro being closed. I've ridden it before but was really looking forward to it again after all the rework done to it.
The last 2 spots of this video fits my current coaster rankings perfectly. Eejanika is by far the most intense coaster I have ever ridden with quite possible the strongest airtime moment I have ever experienced. If only it was longer and maybe a little smoother would it best vengeance.
My childhood favorite roller coaster from Schwarzkopf that was one of the first roller coasters I’ve ever written was the Wizzer accurate America, which is my home park. But my favorite roller coaster of all time right now is of course steel vengeance at cedar point
Won’t lie, I haven’t been in many RMC coasters, but a friend and I said that wildcats revenge was better than steel vengeance. Idk if he still feels that way as it’s been nearly a month since we went to Hershey, but I’ll say it. However, I’m not surprised if many people prefer steel vengeance. I just can’t ignore the unbanked double down on wildcats revenge. Anyhow, great list as usual
@@laser6170 I don’t wanna cloud your judgement but to me, Steel Vengeance felt like they ran out of ideas by the final stretch. And the inversions were almost forgettable. However the drop was better. But regardless, wildcat felt more complete of a ride and the unbanked double down was the most insane element ever. Again, my word is not gospel, form your own opinion. But they are both different kinds of rides. One was clearly built to break a record, the other feels more well rounded. Also idk how true this is but the wildcats revenge trains felt a little more comfortable. I’m not a fan of rmc trains but I felt less stapled on wildcats revenge. Maybe it was an operator thing.
I am going to six flags New England this summer what ride should I start with to have the least amount of lines and what is better Superman the ride or wicked cyclone?
Regarding Wiegand, I still think Trapper Slider at Fort Fun Abenteuerland in Germany might be their best one. It might be far off from their longest ride, but a full speed run on this is just wild, some sections of it have so many rapid fire mini-drops that it becomes hard to keep your feet inside the sled and you are fairly close to the trees, bushes and rocks that it truly enhances the speed. And to top it all off, during their Halloween Event you can even do Night Rides on it.
I LOVE this, except I have to ask: What about Shivering Timbers? But I haven't ridden it, and my favourites you listed are I have ridden and Fury 325 and Steel Vengeance and my favourite you listed I haven't ridden is The Voyage. Also: Ghostrider and El Toro are both coasters I've ridden and are awesome too. Thanks for posting this great video!
Cornball Express is my personal favorite CCI, but I think Shivering Timbers is the best. Phoenix is probably the best PTC, but KD's Grizzly is my personal favorite. I don't know if RMC can have a best, as there are too many contenders, and so many people have different options as what they think is the best. I would go with ArieForce One.
I can’t remember if you done a video on it yet or not, but I’d love seeing you take coaster elements and list your favorite or several favorite instances of them on rides
Some responses: Pinfari: Super Achterbahn at Wiener Prater is (was) miles better than Tornado! Pinfari is best when it doesn't try to invert. Trust me on this (especially since both rides are defunct). Maurer: Rip Ride Rocket better than Phoenix? Get outta town. Arrow: Actually, kudos to putting Magnum over X2. It's just a matter of pulling rank. Vekoma: I'm not gonna disagree with FLY but you all are sleeping on Abyssus. Intamin: It's so hard to tell what the best Intamin is even if you have ridden all of them, but T-Express is maybe the tenth or eleventh coaster in that conversation?
I agree with just about everything except the Intamin pick but, I have not been on one of their woodies. I just know it would have to be a launch coaster. Mine is VelociCoaster. Zierer is probably the right choice but I love Verbolten (why have they not built more rides like that?). A big thumbs up for Magnum XL 200 ❤
1. I think Intamin is at their best with Velosicoaster. I’m one of the fan boys lol. 2. Phantom’s Revenge needs new seats for their trains. It’s an incredible ride that’s tainted by essentially a steel bucket seat with no padding. It’s genuinely painful.
Just rode T-Express in the last couple of weeks. While still undeniably a fun ride, it was far from hitting nearly as hard as I would have hoped or people have predicted. The new RMC section was smooth and easily had the best airtime. The rest of the ride was extremely sluggish with weak pops of airtime at best and was still bumpy to rough. Got three rides on it throughout the day, which was a hot one. Despite the roughness, El Toro was definitely stronger and better the last time I rode it in 2021. Also rode Eejanaika on the same trip. That one I can't speak to as much, since it's far from the type of coaster I would typically enjoy. Still an insane ride from start to end and leaves you asking WTF just happened.
I've been on a hamster wheel coaster, the one at Funplex in Myrtle Beach. It's a pretty wild ride for such a tame coaster layout. The hamster wheel aspect is crazy. Also, I have to disagree with the Arrow pick. Loch Ness Monster at BGW and the old Vortex at KI were much better arrows, and they didn't kill my knees. I can agree with Fury, though! Carowinds represent!!! Best B&M coaster ever!! Of course, it does have a lot of good B&M siblings as well. 😄
Maybe do a video where the #1 will suprise a lot of people. Idk for what category, but maybe fun, no steel vengeance crap. BTW love the video, keep it up love from canada
Kinda surprised he didn't put Boardwalk Bullet as the best for PTC. Which I did get to see (But not ride as we didn't stop there), passing through Kemah to go to Galveston Island, where Iron Shark was sadly closed.
I'd say the best Giovanola is Anaconda at Gold Reef City. And I also think that the best Pax coaster is Cobra at Connyland. I've ridden that thing at least 20 times and it's awesome, probably the one of the worlds best coasters for hangtime.
Tornado for Pinfari? Odd choice, heard it was one of the roughest coasters on the planet. Theme Park Crazy did a video on it titled "The WORST Roller Coaster Ever" That said, it was relocated to France a couple years ago (and renamed Gotham), it's supposedly running a bit better now.
I've been to Liseberg just the other day, was happy to see Lisebergbanan as best Zierer coaster. I thought it was excellent in spite of its age, unfortunately very popular so much longer lines than the more thrilling ones
This summer there will be a major European soccer tournament. You should do something similar where you vs the best coasters from each country against each other using the same EUEFA eurocup format to see which qualifies countries coaster comes out on top. Theres also a similar Americas soccer tournament but the USA would probably win that coaster contest
Battle of Jungle King is rough AF, I honestly liked Jinma's family rides more. Also in my personal humble opinion I prefer Python in Bamboo Forest over Wood Coaster mostly because of the length. But I have never ridden Wood Coaster with a full train so take my word with a grain of salt.
Picking tornado as Pinfari's best coaster is a bold choice. It's widely considered one of the worst coasters in Europe, and is featured in multiple failed coasters videos.
Olympia Looping and Voltron schoild be on there. BUT!!! as a unbrual mantion there should be EuroStar from the german fair. This was a awesome coaster when it opend and was made by so many companys. Intaman, giavanola, gerstlaure and i thought mack and vekoma also
Do you think you can do a vid on every company's worst coaster? **If you made this back in like 2015 or before you rode Steel Vengeance/when El Toro was your #1, do you think it'd be ironic that Intamin would've had your most fav and your least fav coaster ever?**
Here's an idea for a list: cloned coasters. What's the best coaster that exists in two or more locations? Would it be all the Batman clones among all the SF parks? What about Gerstlauer Eurofighters? Would either of Vekoma's notorious pair (Boomerang or SLC) be at the bottom?
The original Raptors would most likely win. Here are a few more. -Manta has a clone in Japan -I-Speed has a clone -I count TMNT Shellraiser as a Takabisha clone - I'll always take a B&M Batman clone -I personally like the S&S 4D free spins quite a bit -A bunch of new Vekomas have clones in Asia -Mr Freeze -The Flight of Fear clones And then there are the near clones like Mind Bender and Quimera, TTD and Kingda Ka, Wonder Woman and Jersey Devil, Rock N Rollercoaster and Xpress Platform 13...etc. I guess you'd have to decide some kind of criteria for being or not being a clone. I mean, if you wanted to get super nitpicky you could argue that every Raptor is a unique layout but that would be a bit silly.
@@zacharyyamashita8554 I enjoy those but I was trying to focus on ones that would make a list of the very best clones and i just don't think the Skyrocket 2 model would. That's why I mentioned only the new Vekoma clones without referencing older Vekoma clone formats. I did mention the 4D Free Spins but with the caveat that I personally really like them.
I never got to ride Mind Bender, but I just rode All American Triple Loop with those trains. It was beyond terrible with the headbanging. I can't see how Mind Bender could have been any good with them. I would probably go with the SFOG Riddler if I had the credit, but for now I am going with Scorpion.
Apparently Triple Loop has become worn out due to being run faster than designed in Mexico. Olympia Looping (arguably the actual best Schwarzkopf) still is incredibly smooth with the same design of trains, even though it pulls over 5g in several places. And that coaster has been travelling across Europe for over 40 years
Steel vengeance was designed by the ultimate enthusiasts for enthusiast. Its been six years now... and the most air time on a coaster has not been broken since.
I just rode iron gwazi a week ago, and it's an exceptional coaster. I'm not sure whether I put it or wildcat's revenge at my number 3 overall behind voyage and skyrush
I got to ride Xola Loca when I went last year, but I didn’t really like it. The blood sensation in your head of just hanging upside down at parts made me nauseous. Plus it does 5 laps.
I would probably rate steel dragon 2000 as the better morgan coaster. It is just huge with the longest track length and height and doe so much speed and airtime while being smooth enough to ride 8 times within 1 hour. I didn't really enjoy Fujiyama as much as it was very rough and painfull during the second half and the first drops just kind of go up and down in a straight line. Probably amazing when it was build but there a lot of bettter huge coasters out there. I also rode Takabisha, which while being an insane layout with the launch and the vertical lifthill, the over the shoulder restraints really ruin the ride if you are over 1.80m. Still good forced and a very good launch.
Could you please do a top 15 or 20 video of the best parks strictly for coasters (quality/quantity)? I think you've done it before but it seemed like US only and I'm curious if you have a list for the world. Thanks!
I don’t disagree with having T-Express as your best Intamin, because I haven’t ridden it, but I wanna give a shoutout to the Toutatis and Taron fanboys! Those are my two personal favorite Intamins.
Video idea. Coasters that have an element that doesn’t hit the way you’d hope. For instance, I thought the raven dive on arieforce one would have been better.
Must say from all the ones i ridden your number one spots are all at least in my top 3 spots per manufactorer.

@@kingstyn I have, just didn't get up to CP when I went. KI was a great park, just didn't have any of my manufacturer's favorites
love that my homepark (kentucky kingdom) got two mentions here!
Kentucky kingdom is criminally slept on. Storm chaser and lightning run combine for a legit great 1-2 punch and Kentucky flyer and thunder run are both fun for what they are.
@@ryancole7376 The Next Big Coaster at KK will take the place of T3.
I have done a theming video for non-universal/disney
Found it, watched it (again...I had 2 comments on that video...lol). Thanks

@@AirtimeThrills Yup and o so boaring. I do was pleasnatly suprised that your picks where all very high on my list as well since we have completly differnt taste in coasters. But that probable just shows how good these are the only one i probable will toatly disagre with is intamin. Not that i expect it to be a bad coaster you picked but they made some of my favorite coasters and those are mostly steel (ok excecpt for el toro)
I went to Hershey park, and I have to say, skyrush new lap bars are amazing. No pain and much better airtime. Maybe you won’t hate it anymore
Brilliant concept for a video & even more brilliant execution. This a fantastic video & I'd love to see a ranking of all 31 overall, though I'm sure that'd be MUCH more subjective & much more difficult. Fantastic stuff!!
I'm not sure what you mean a ranking of all 31 overall, thats pretty much what this video was about
@@AirtimeThrills a ranking of all 31 manufacturers, based on their entire portfolio. Not just their #1 coasters.

Neat rides. That Hamster Wheel coaster looks totally insane. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It is!!! One got installed at my local park and I'm so thankful. For some reason is isn't on the Rcdb.

Great list. At first I was shocked you gave TT2 to Zamperla but since they altered the layout it makes since. Looking forward to the inverse of this video.
Haven’t even seen it yet but I already know that RMC is winning
bro saw the future
Great video! Yeah every manufacturers worst coaster would be a fun video to watch as well!
Tornado at M&D's hasn't been scrapped. In fact, it has been relocated to Parc d'attractions Marseillan Plage in southern France, where it still operates to this day
Thanks for clarifying
Honorable mention: International Coasters Inc.-Hurler(Carowinds)
I think your picks are spot on!
I think Jinma's best coaster is their lsm launch coaster. It looks like it has a punchy launch.
We had a 4 park road trip last week, SFA, SFGA, Knoebels and Hershey Park, and my biggest disappointment was El Toro being closed. I've ridden it before but was really looking forward to it again after all the rework done to it.
Perfect List
The last 2 spots of this video fits my current coaster rankings perfectly. Eejanika is by far the most intense coaster I have ever ridden with quite possible the strongest airtime moment I have ever experienced. If only it was longer and maybe a little smoother would it best vengeance.
I am a huge RTH fan girl, thats ace! Have you ridden Voltron yet?
My childhood favorite roller coaster from Schwarzkopf that was one of the first roller coasters I’ve ever written was the Wizzer accurate America, which is my home park.
But my favorite roller coaster of all time right now is of course steel vengeance at cedar point
wow, whizzer was my first coaster too. really want to got to cedar point but still to young for my parents to let me
Won’t lie, I haven’t been in many RMC coasters, but a friend and I said that wildcats revenge was better than steel vengeance. Idk if he still feels that way as it’s been nearly a month since we went to Hershey, but I’ll say it. However, I’m not surprised if many people prefer steel vengeance. I just can’t ignore the unbanked double down on wildcats revenge. Anyhow, great list as usual
ive never been on steel vengeance, but i just looped widcats revenge three times and im convinced it doesnt get any better than that
@@laser6170 I don’t wanna cloud your judgement but to me, Steel Vengeance felt like they ran out of ideas by the final stretch.
Proud to be a TT2 media day rider 😀
I have a question. Do you have plans to go ride Pipeline at SeaWorld Orlando before you go to Japan?
You should do modern coasters that you believe will be “classics” in the future!
You should make a list of your top 10 favorite coaster models.
So you prefer lisebergbanan over wicked at lagoon? Seemed like you really like that vertical launch coaster.
I just had my 60th ride on Steel Vengeance and it's still incredible every ride.
You should REALLY make a ranking every six flags or cedar fair parks worst coaster if you haven’t yet
I can’t remember if you done a video on it yet or not, but I’d love seeing you take coaster elements and list your favorite or several favorite instances of them on rides
Some responses:
Pinfari: Super Achterbahn at Wiener Prater is (was) miles better than Tornado!
Great vid as ever mate!
When are you doing your Great Adventure documentary?
I think he wants to visit Six Flags Great Adventure first in order to get new footage. So it'll be finished after that at the very least.
It should be released throughout the month of August
The chance hyper gtx like chance ride’s version of the Intamin Mega Lite
My friend love the videos
Also Eejanaika you gotta say it like "Eh-Ja-naika" え instead of E haha
3:56 I’m sorry I just DO NOT understand the love for Thunder Run. When I got on it last year it was rough and hurt me.
Maybe do a video where the #1 will suprise a lot of people. Idk for what category, but maybe fun, no steel vengeance crap. BTW love the video, keep it up love from canada
Video idea, rank in house coasters
I think the beast would win that one
this is a fun idea, i second this
Can't wait to hear your review of All American Triple Looper at Indiana Beach.
I have no plans to go back there but when i do ill be very very afraid given what ive heard lol
@@AirtimeThrills The transitions are roughly and the restraints are not comfortable.
Tobotronc is the only coaster I know of to have a layout that would show up with a visible extent on a map of the country it's in.
Steel Vengeance is really such a full package ride. It’s got everything I want in a roller coaster and that’s why I love it.
I'm riding it next week and I'm hyped.
@@Themeparkfan630wishing you all the luck in the world man. Have a great time.
@CausiCoasters90 thank you, thankfully it'll be 82 when I go so it won't be hot as hell.
Tornado for Pinfari? Odd choice, heard it was one of the roughest coasters on the planet. Theme Park Crazy did a video on it titled "The WORST Roller Coaster Ever"
That said, it was relocated to France a couple years ago (and renamed Gotham), it's supposedly running a bit better now.
Nice vid once again
I've been to Liseberg just the other day, was happy to see Lisebergbanan as best Zierer coaster. I thought it was excellent in spite of its age, unfortunately very popular so much longer lines than the more thrilling ones
This summer there will be a major European soccer tournament. You should do something similar where you vs the best coasters from each country against each other using the same EUEFA eurocup format to see which qualifies countries coaster comes out on top. Theres also a similar Americas soccer tournament but the USA would probably win that coaster contest
Mack at #3 is crazzzzzzy. Hype over the new spinning coaster
It deserves it. That ride is pure perfection.
I liked your video on every manufacturer’s first coaster but now you should do every manufacturer’s previous coaster
Yeah a video on defunct manufacturers last coaster is on my list. Doing most recent coaster is a bit too random cuz it changes every few months
Intaman, giavanola, gerstlaure and i thought mack and vekoma also
On there in the place of rth? No thanks. Yes it could have been mentioned, but that's it.
13:49 when did mack get a new logo? have I been living under an invisible rock?
Do you think you can do a vid on every company's worst coaster? **If you made this back in like 2015 or before you rode Steel Vengeance/when El Toro was your #1, do you think it'd be ironic that Intamin would've had your most fav and your least fav coaster ever?**
All three of the top coasters are the most common coasters in enthusiasts' #1's
I mean they're amazing coasters.
Rank every manufacturers first coaster
He already did that
Here's an idea for a list: cloned coasters.
-Manta has a clone in Japan
-I-Speed has a clone
-I count TMNT Shellraiser as a Takabisha clone
- I'll always take a B&M Batman clone
-I personally like the S&S 4D free spins quite a bit
-A bunch of new Vekomas have clones in Asia
-Mr Freeze
-The Flight of Fear clones
And then there are the near clones like Mind Bender and Quimera, TTD and Kingda Ka, Wonder Woman and Jersey Devil, Rock N Rollercoaster and Xpress Platform 13...etc. I guess you'd have to decide some kind of criteria for being or not being a clone. I mean, if you wanted to get super nitpicky you could argue that every Raptor is a unique layout but that would be a bit silly.
@@zacg_ You forgot The SkyRocket 2 clones.
It would be cool to see the most medium coaster from every manufacturer, perhaps a coaster that features al the stereotypes of a manufacturer lol.
And that coaster has been travelling across Europe for over 40 years
If you want to ride a hamester wheel, there's one in Myrtle Beach at the world's smallest amusement park! I kept getting ads for it.
Probably a dumb idea but you should rank all the in house/made by the park\ coasters would be a pretty cool video
Chris put Liesburgbahnan( or however you spell it) over wicked, something I didn’t expect
Underrated coasters.
I rode Kärnan a few days ago, and can confirm that it is insane
What about each manufacturer's most innovative coaster? I.E. important technical features like first inversion or first launch
I would love to see you do every North American stand up roller coaster past and present by prime ride time.
Video idea: Heros VS Villans, who has the better coasters themed to them?

I have to wait a week lol.
How about a ranking of the best in-house built coasters? Show-down between the Beast and Cannibal for sure
