Try some silver castmasters next time . Better fishing by the dock side of the lake , I know that beaver dam . Lots of poachers at that lake that's why you didn't catch the monsters . Better luck next time .
@@HuyFishin You're welcome . I have some old fly rods with full sinking line that I troll around with a doctor spratley fly . Lots of fun when anything over 2lbs bites . A green or orange Montana works too . Early spring is best . I like to eat fish , so right now they are too muddy for our taste . See you at Cold Lake maybe this winter .
@@oldpolak5203 if you see poachers, report them. Fish & Wildlife can’t be everywhere, but if they can, they will be right there if you give them the details. I have reported people at Police Outpost in the south. Guys get tired of the smaller fish to keep at Payne and think they will take a few undersize out of Police, or the go to the island & bait fish. The only way you are gonna see a difference is if you see it, report it. Remember you are not a rat, you are responsible. You are doing the right thing, they are the criminals. @@gpc8337 aquabatics Calgary will be your closest dealer. They are quite nice to handle. Many different choices available. They have lighter small ones for Alberta lakes. Also larger ones like mine to handle big lakes and ocean. I would check there website or stop in the showroom to see what they have available. They tend to sell out fast once spring comes

Fall is in full effect up there, its hockey season, baby! Nice trout. Our stocked trout never have any fins down here.

I'll give it a try next time. For some reason when you're at this lake many guys hover on the other side. So I just socially complied. Thanks Andy!

Really like your pedal canoe! Where did you get it? Cool
It’s called OldTown Kayak. Where are you from? I can let you know where your nearest dealer is
Carstairs Alberta
So looking forward to getting out !! And that looks easiest to handle …..I’ve just turned 60 so think pedaling will be easier than paddling ….right ha

@@HuyFishin Thank you very much…..I get down there. Keep up the great vid’s 🐟🐠🦈
No big one eh?
They all stayed home 🏡. No luck with any tigers browns or big bows
They loose their fins from the hatchery’s from being overcrowded unfortunately. Pretty common.
thats interesting! Its crazy how they could still swim properly and be able to hunt while missing the fin.
