Fr Edassery, Fr Narikulam and a few other seminary rectors are the real culprits for the rebel vimatha problems in EKM because the young priests were taught wrong lessons of disobedience against Syro Malabar Church leadership of Cardinal Vithayatil, Cardina Alenchey etc. Now, those senior vimatha priests are witnessing many many families in EKM getting destroyed in faith and morality. Shameful and tragic.
Final outcome is clear because Synod will be with 34 diocese ONLY.. So, stop this nonsense fight and repent and seek pardon from Bishop, Pope and church. ONLY other option is to get out of Syro Malabar and join Latin Rite or Pentecost.

Syro Malabar is "East Syriac" church having traditions dating back many many centuries.
Vatican II is in support of such traditions. Syro Malabar liturgy is a direct result of Vatican II.

AD 345 ൽ സിറിയ , മെസപ്പോട്ടെമ്യ , ഉറഹ , നിനവെ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് കാനായി തോമയുടെ നേതൃത്വതിലും ഉറഹായുടെ മെത്രാൻ മാർ ജോസഫ് തിരുമേനിയുടെയും ഏതാനും വൈദികരുടെയും ശെമ്മാശന്മാരുടെയും സഹകരണത്തിലും 72 കുടുംബങ്ങൾ കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂർ പട്ടണത്തിൽ കുടിയേറുകയും പള്ളിയും പട്ടണവും സ്ഥാപിച്ചു സ്ഥിരവാസമുറപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു .
'പുരാതന കാലം മുതൽക്കേ കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂർ പട്ടണത്തിൻ്റെ വടക്ക് ഭാഗത്ത് മാർ തോമാ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികൾ അങ്ങാടിയായി താമസി ക്കുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു ' (note the point )

വിശുദ്ധ തോമാശ്ലീഹായുടെ പ്രേഷിത പ്രവർത്തനം AD 72 July 3 ന് അവസാനിച്ചു. തൻ്റെ പിൻഗാമിയായി കേപ്പ യെ മെത്രാനായി വാഴിച്ചിരുന്നു .അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ പിൻഗാമികൾ ആയ മെത്രാന്മാർ 'സെൻ്റ് തോമസ് ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളെ നയിക്കുകയും ഭരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു .AD 325 ൽ Nicea ൽ നടന്ന സാർവത്രിക സൂനഹദോസ് ൽ മുഴുവൻ ഇന്ത്യ യെ represent ചെയ്തു ഇന്ത്യയുടെ മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്തയായ mar yohannaan സംബന്ധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ പിൽക്കാലത്ത് മത പീഡനങ്ങളുടെയും മറ്റും ഫലമായി ഈ മെത്രാന്മാരുടെ വംശാവലി തുടരുവാനിട വന്നില്ല .
കേരള ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളെ ഭരിക്കാൻ സ്വദേശ മെത്രാന്മാർ ഇല്ലാതെ വന്നപ്പോൾ '4-ാം നൂറ്റാണ്ട് 'മുതൽ സിറിയ, പേർഷ്യ തുടങ്ങിയ പൗരസ്ത്യ ദേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് റോമ മാർപ്പാപ്പ മാരുടെ നിർദ്ദേശ പ്രകാരം മെത്രാന്മാർ കേരളക്കരയിൽ വന്നു തുടങ്ങി . (മാർ തോമാ ശ്ലീഹാ ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ തദ്ദേശ ആരാധന ക്രമങ്ങൾക്ക് സുറിയാനി പൗരസ്ത്യ പരിവേഷം ലഭിച്ചതെന്ന് കരുതപ്പെടുന്ന 4 ാം നൂറ്റാണ്ട് )
കേരളത്തിലെ പൗരാണിക സഭക്ക് സ്ഥിരമായ ഒരു ആസ്ഥാനം ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിൻ്റെ ആവശ്യകത റോമിന് ബോധ്യപ്പെട്ടതിൻ്റെ ഫലമായിട്ടാണ് 1565 ൽ എറണാകുളം അങ്കമാലി അതിരൂപതയിൽപെട്ട അങ്കമാലി ആസ്ഥാനമായി ഭാരതത്തിലെ പ്രദമ അതിരൂപത സ്ഥാപിതമായതും മാർ അബ്രഹാം നെ മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്തയായി അവരോധിച്ചതും . അവസാനത്തെ വിദേശ സുറിയാനി മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്തയായ അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ കല്ലറ അങ്കമാലി ലെ വിശുദ്ധ ഉർമീസ് ൻ്റെ പള്ളിയിൽ .
