I pierced mine last year at my bffs house, it took me many hours because it hurt so much, i was using a needle, but I did it and it looks great now!
My friend pierced in school, she did not clean it and it was so bad

I got my nose pierced in high school and took it out the day I got my grad photos done (not sure why because I wore it in the photos lol) and it closed up super quick. I was so sad. Fast forward like 33 years and I'm so getting it done again! I wish I would have repierced it years ago.

I had my nose pierced professionally. A year later I had a surgery and had to remove my jewelry. I took it out the morning of surgery. I went home next day and it closed. I bought lidocaine 5% and piercing needles. Went straight into the old scar. 👍🏼. That wasn’t enough for me a few months later I bought two very tiny white gold with diamond (really tiny) nose bones. I put a piercing on the other nostril. Not even when facing mirror. So I added the other tiny bone next to the first. So…. One on 1 nostril and two in the other. Already have five ear piercings one side and three on the other. Yup I’m going to be doing more ear piercing. And I’m a senior 🥰

Someone respond to this please I have a peircing needle but as soon as I pull the needle out and try to put the stud in I lose the hole and the hole on the needle I know it’s for the stud so u can pull it through but I don’t know how to put it in there

helpppp meee i wanna get two more holes in my left ear, should i use the same needle for all of them or a different needle for each hole??
Different needle for each hole. The needle gets micro shavings every time it touches something. It’s made to be extremely smooth and sharp but once it’s used, it starts to fray which can cause a bunch of micro tears in the tissue and cause pain and swelling.

When your piercing was healing up did you notice anything bad such as infection or anything else? My nose is apparently half open half closed and I just got a new hoop only to find this out. Any info would be greatly appreciated thank you Effie🙏
I would do a salt water rinse! After piercing my own nose it get red and a little puffy, salt water twice a day helped it heal and go away :) I applied the salt water with a Q-tip btw!

Idk If you’ve done this yet but don’t use a sewing needle. Cartilage jewelry is much thicker than a sewing needle. You’re gonna need a 16 gauge piercing needle for that

No. You need an 18 or 20 gauge piercing needle (depending on how big you want it. 18 is larger than 20.) A 16g needle is wayyy too thick for a nose piercing. You also could use a sewing needle if really wanted to but I don’t recommend as that will hurt more bc it isn’t as sharp as a piercing needle. Oh btw you can literally get a pack that has all different sizes on Amazon that’s where I got mine.

it don’t hurt bad at all during it it just stings so u tear up a little lol, it hurts more afterwards like it feels like a sore pimple but that feeling goes away in like 2 weeks max, i recommend getting it done professionally tho

It looks a little low. You pierce your nose by the ridge line where the bump of your nostril and the bridge slant meet. Either way since you only have a stud in there it might work but if you decide a ring for it in the future, you'll find it would be a tad annoying with that piercing low.

i just did mine and it was like a nose bleed. the blood even congealed. i pierced my own nose over 5 times and this is the first time i’ve ever bled. and it was everywhere
