Omgg I’ve been wanting to do the helix piercing and I’m kinda scared to do it cause I’m scared it’s gunna hurt, if you have done it did it hurt a lot or just a little bit?
So far I can tell it does not hurt even when it's pinched right away. It's not a pain that is enough to need anything to numb it. I had it pierced by someone once myself without any numb at all. It feels sharp and it's red hot after being pinched, and later it will calm down. Having our finger tips pinched with a needle hurt way more.

I really admire your courage, I could never do this myself, the woman who does my piercings knows I'm a huge baby and now knows to not even tell me when it's going in, it's so much easier for me to not know when she is going to do it 😂

You are so sweet and so strong! I did all my own piercings but I would never be able to do it while filming! I did all of them with a piercing gun, BUT I changed out the earring that usually get shot through the ear with a real piercing needle. That way I don’t make so much trauma to the ear/nose. My next project is a helix piercing on one ear only so that’s why I dropped by!

I did my double helix, double conch and my mid helix still I'm still closing my eyes when I feel that the needle is already inside. Im always struggling to push through.

In Pakistan I got mine pierced directly with a silver piercing and then it was clipped and closed. I thought it's much quicker and it never bled. Are there any advantages of this needle method?

I did my 3rd & 4th lobe it didn’t hurt at all the 4th lobe did have a pinch to it , but I think because I use numbing cream snd real real real hot water acts as if you numbing it and loosen up the skin and I put Vaseline on the needle the need went right it within second doing them 2 piercing’s

Hunny no, im 13 and give myself peircings all the time, you gotta sterilize it even if its in a package!! And if your doing cartillage or anywhere near veins, shine a light behind it to avoid hitting a vein because it shouldnt have bled THAT much! Plus the jewelry goes into the fornt hole not the back. Just be carefull doing this stuff or ur risking getting blood poisoning, sepsis or gangrene (where you will lose your ear!!)

You can do whatever you want with your body, but I encourage everyone to save their coin and go to a professional if you don't want an infection. At least wear gloves; the risk of infections and other problems from DIY piercings are much higher than ones done in a sterile studio. Stay safe!

Technically, yes, but generally the lobes are pierced with a 20g which is a smaller needle.

The thickness can stay the same but it helps to change to more snug fit in length once healed so the jewellery has no excess length

How did you sanitize the needles?? I bought needles and i don't know how to sterilize them when they arrive
The needles I used to pierce my ears were already sterile therefore I no longer need to sterilize them
Needles usually come sterile in packaging. If you're not sure just dunk them into rubbing alcohol for a couple minutes.
Which needle did u use ? The one you use to stitch something ? 😅
@@iramsshah Don't use those, they are usually already blunt and tear tissue, making the healing process longer. Just look up piercing needles, they are dirt cheap and come sharp, sanitized and in different gauges.
