Nothing wrong with that if your right way inform on how to used it correctly I used piercing gun in my tragus and helix and healing good it really depends on the outcome of it not the piercing gun..

Your conch piercing is so nice 😊😊😊 i just got mine, i got tragus, conch and flat all on same day. I read online that they hurt badly but some how im lucky i didnt feel pain so im happy. I found what hurt was them tightening the jewelry after but I didn't feel anything for the actual piercing which was unexpected 😊😱

I have both of my ears with a conch piercing. They were both done on different days and months. My left ear was done on December 3rd,2021. My right ear was done on May 10th,2022. My left one was more pressure than pain. My right ear was a little bit painful but, less pressure. I can wear different jewelry earring in each hole but, matching. I liked to put a big huggie earring in the hole on both ears. Sometimes a stud.

Done CONCH few months ago was inflammed so took out. Tried again yest it stung so bad. But i get them done in piercing shop.

You can still pierce your own ears but make sure everything is sanitized and sterilized, bb. Also, please don't forget to do proper aftercare also. I'm a piercer myself, and I always tell my clients that if they want to pierce themselves, do it at their own risk always 😊

If you're scared of an infection I would try to just familiarize urself more with piercings especially ones that go wrong so that you can be a little more educated on noticing the earlier signs of an infection to be able to handle it/take it out before it gets out of hand
