As a professional caddie the thing I hate the most is how long it takes him to hit the shitty shots!!!! I have no problem with bad golfers love them they usually are the funnest people to carry for, it's guys who take thirty seconds to hit a bad shot that drives me nuts!!
Its not that bad, and not that far from being a competent repeatable swing. His second shot was very good contact; hitting ball first, and the ball hitting square on the clubface and went straight where he was aiming. His upper body on his takeaway was nearly textbook. He should narrow his stance, concentrate on using his trail leg to brace his rotation so as to cut down on his sway. Slow down the speed of his takeaway and transition. He should also loosen up - he is standing over the ball for seconds trying to tamp down feelings of uncertainty and fear, and trying like hell to stop the feeling of despair slowing enveloping his body. He should step back take a couple of easy practice swings, then step up, exhale, and swing away. If only it was that easy.... lol.
Yeah, Charles Barkley was on another level. I mean, when you've got Hank Kuehne at your disposal and you still can't improve drastically, it's time to hang it up. He better thank his lucky stars that basketball came naturally for him.
Good balance, good posture, head over the ball. But contact was poor, and distance was lacking. On the other hand, there are a lot of positives to work with.
I've seen far worse ... I once played with a fella who at one stage of the ordeal, made eleven (11) air-swings before he hit the ball. To make matters worse, each air-swing took a huge divot out of the turf. 😢
I learned the game by going to the range, taking lessons, putting greens and developing some sort of ability to be able to play on a real golf course before I did. There is an etiquette of keeping up with the pace of play, which a lot of these people can't do. These are the same people who talk throughout swings and stomp on your line.
@@nouarkansas9386 nothing with having fun with your buddies, but you also realize you’re ruining the day for the 5-7 or more groups behind you? And if your answer is that you don’t care, then golf isn’t for you.
Look down? No. Annoyed by them? Absolutely. I've been behind some of the worst golfers, but they kept a normal pace of play. I have no problems with that at all. To watch someone stand over their ball for 3 minutes taking 20 practice swings, then getting up thee just to flub a ball 20 yards and do it all over again 5 time during one hole can get a bit annoying.
You're the kind of player that would like to prevent anyone from learning the game. Expect everyone to just be a stud pro like you (sarcasm) and hit perfect shots every time without concentrating or spending any time practicing the shot. Not all golfers are douches, folks. Don't let shakester discourage you from playing.
I hate it when I see these guys on the course clogging and hacking everything up. They need to just stay at the range until they can effectively hit a ball.
@vincesanity62 Well, he was aiming straight left. The ball looked like it actually came off the club nicely. But look at the setup. Sam Snead said "Never aim where a straight shot will get you in trouble."
Seen many worse. Topped the first shot, who hasn't done that with a wood out of the rough. Looks like he made decent contact on the 2nd shot. Stands over the ball too long.
Normally if someone is a slow player and can see that they are holding people up behind them, they will wave them through. What has, 'not pushing yourself as a good golfer' got to do with being stuck up? You obviously look down your nose at people who aren't on your level or better
Hi Paul. No I am not complaining about someone taking 15 seconds...... Ask yourself if you think this man is benefited by standing over the ball as he did in the video. It is likely that standing over the ball hindered a fluid golf swing in this case. This is a common bad habit and i was giving a heads up. Have a nice golf season, if you play.
News Flash. If you presently suck or are even marginal at golf and stand over the ball for 15 seconds like this guy, stop. If you're good and stand, whatever. Standing over the ball is a bad habit that hurts many peoples game and annoys the people you're playing with. This guy stood over the first shot for 15 seconds just so he could stand up at impact. Nice routine.
"What did you shoot today?"
"Eighty."
"Hey, that's pretty good."
"On one hole."
😂
I was expecting way worse ngl
Click bait!
He strategically kept it out of the water. Good course management.
I love how he stands there and admires that last shank.
"Geez that was a good one! It got off the ground!!"
Best shank I’ve hit all day.
That was a pull.
Lol

You’re an idiot. This guy should never play golf again
Not nearly as bad as Charles Barkley's swing. Nothing is as bad as that monstrosity!
Yeah, Charles Barkley was on another level. I mean, when you've got Hank Kuehne at your disposal and you still can't improve drastically, it's time to hang it up. He better thank his lucky stars that basketball came naturally for him.
I couldn't agree more; especially as an athlete who had access to arguably then greatest golfer of all time before they fell out.
It was a simple question, you searched for bad swings, you found one and then complained about finding it lol
Imagine being stuck behind this guy. 8hr round for sure. How much fun can this guys be having?
I have done this plenty of times, one time I swung so hard I spun myself of my feet and hit the ground it's all about the learning
Standing on the cart path. Saddle shoes. It's perfection
Good balance, good posture, head over the ball. But contact was poor, and distance was lacking. On the other hand, there are a lot of positives to work with.
I think the mosquitos were bugging him.
I've seen WAY worse than that on my local course.
you know how many seconds add up? minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years.
I've seen far worse ... I once played with a fella who at one stage of the ordeal, made eleven (11) air-swings before he hit the ball. To make matters worse, each air-swing took a huge divot out of the turf. 😢
Thank you for letting me save 23 of those seconds
You've obviously never seen Charles Barkley swing a club
I'm more impressed that you guys got Michael J. Fox to hold the camera.
Obviously haven’t seen my golf swing 😂
his swaying is amazing

You clearly have not seen me swing a club. Standing behind me is probably worse than standing in front of me.
I have seen much worse than that in the 54 years I've been playing.
He's not keeping his eye on the ball, the most important tip in golf.

I’ve seen worse…dude has no business using a fairway wood….especially out of the rough
I love how he's hitting 3 wood with a cart like 120 yards ahead
pov me in mario golf
Hold my beer
I give that honor to Sir Barles Charkley
It’s Sir Charles Barkley!
You must never seen Charles Barkley swing
Yep, we talk a good game. We have never done that.
Having been in golf for over 55 years, that is far from the worst swing in the history of golf!
That’s not even the worse swing in my foursome.
Matey boy standing behind him with the camera, trying not to do the silent shakey laugh!
Now if he can try to shave 20 minutes off his pre-shot...
There were a lot of good little Nuggets in that swing.
I've seen Jack Nicholas hit a grounder or two.
I actually saw someone hit off the tee and the ball went backwards ..
I didn't know a head could look up that quick
well at least he takes forever over the ball.
I will never be the same having watched this! You really should have a viewer discretion advisory!!!
Foots on the cart path, take your free drop
Someone that bad should get lessons before spending money on a course
He's too hard on himself. I'm much worse than that. 😂😅😂
Just watch the club head meet that ball…
thats how my hybrid hits look too
Pointing like he knew the direction 😂😂 yeah right mate,,that ball is earth food,,gone lol
I hate it when I see these guys on the course clogging and hacking everything up. They need to just stay at the range until they can effectively hit a ball.
If you're ever in doubt, remember that Charles Barkley plays golf.
Head up leads to stuff like this
He has an OKAY swing. He just needs to hit more DOWN on the ball. Other than that, I would not lift my left leg on the backswing. :)
That is very hard to do. Full swing and make the ball go only 10 feet.
When your feet are too far apart, nothing good is likely to follow.
Rory has nothing to worry about! 😂
Golfing in Sandals, says it all.
He paid that green fee, why on earth would he only take 72 swings?!!
just every day hackers
He set up then I went upstairs took a shit and ate a sandwich and when I came back down he started his swing
got a hold of that one
He's got potential. Notice the club head speed seems to be zippy, just needs more control. He's not F F F Foolin !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Def leppard
Come on people you have not seen my swing
Charles Barkley says hi.
I'm afraid that's what happens when you try to hit a ball, sat down in the heavy rough, with a fairway wood.
Follow through is wicked!
I've seen much worse and in-person.
@vincesanity62 Well, he was aiming straight left. The ball looked like it actually came off the club nicely. But look at the setup. Sam Snead said "Never aim where a straight shot will get you in trouble."
Please explain that quote.
Using the new Spalding Flub Series irons.
Over the top and fast backswing
Seen many worse. Topped the first shot, who hasn't done that with a wood out of the rough. Looks like he made decent contact on the 2nd shot. Stands over the ball too long.
Great swing!
Huh! My hairline and golf swing
He needs to speed up! What can he be thinking about for that long?
Hey at least the guy is out there and trying his best. That’s all that really counts.
Chronic Scoliosis is a motherf*cker, huh?
Too much grip pressure. Loosen up just a tad and you'll be smokin' it.
bet he doesn't count half his shots.
No fundamentals. Lucky to bat .100 with that awful hack.
Better than me

Slow it down a bit.. hit the range... stay behind the ball...Flush it.
Like why is he hitting when a cart is less than 200 yards away!
And i thought my swings were bad.. :)
Be the ball
Not the worst.
EXACTLY!!
He dresses like he’s 5 years old too.
Dress the part to be the part
That guy should give up

More like worst camera steadiness in the history of videos
why search for bad swings and then complain when you find them?
history of mankind rather
Start off by slowing down your back swing. Its almost impossible to come back square to the ball on your follow thru with a fast Takeaway like yours,
Been there DONE that! Yikes!
Still better than my girlfriend !!
