Am scottish and was using a laundrette in boston mass watching this and was cheering on lawrie ( he scottish) and could not belief what vand der velde done he actually held a decent putt to get to the play of lawrie came from 10 shots behind. but van der velde is more famous for losing the open than paul lawrie was for winning it i really felt sorry for him
