A little clarification on the "You can only do one bounty at a time." You can only do one of a specific bounty at a time. You can work on, say, the shiv bounty and the syringe bounty at the same time. But, you can't double the number of syringes and get twice the bounty. Love seeing more department onboarding videos.
Cargo is definitely my most played department. It's that perfect mix of low floor, high ceiling. I can just relax and run around doing bounties, which let's you see most of the station. Bonus: If you're a Antag Cargo Tech, people kinda expect you to be away from the department for long stretches of time. Perfect for crimes.

Personal favourite cargo gimmick is at the end of the round spend all the remaining money on Mothroaches, at least back when I did it they seemed to have a really high chance of being sapient when purchased, so all the people that died in the round can chitter away on the emergency shuttle. Plus you can stuff a whole bunch of them in duffel bags.

Excellent guide! A few things that are nice to know, in addition to what was mentioned: - You often can print things in the lathe, such as tools, that people may ask for. You often do want to have various tools on hand anyways as some bounties require you to craft items. - Your lathe can hold an infinite amount of materials as long as those materials can be put inside the lathe. You can pull materials out of the lathe with the buttons on the right side of the UI. - Since you require cargo access in order to approve purchases (in most servers), placing the cargo request computer in a publically-accessible area is excellent if you are short staffed. People can often order anything they want, and then you can approve those orders at your discretion. - You can disassemble any (unlocked) crate with a screwdriver to get some mateirals! Since the empty crates will eventually pile up over the course of a shift, this can save you space and money. You can build new crates by hand with the crafting menu as well. - Being proactive can really help you in the long run. If you see there is no chef for example, order a pizza delivery before everyone starts getting too hungry. - Your biggest customer is usually going to be the Science department. If you can keep them happy, they may research helpful tools for you like a teleporter! - As mentioned in the video, you can put a Reason onto your orders. This will be readable when you examine the crate with the purchased items, so writing down the department or the name of the person ordering the items is a great way to remeber what is going where. You can either call them over radio to let them know their crate is ready, or deliver things directly to them.
I've heard that having the console outside of cargo is also a risk since apparently people can mess with the wires granting access for anyone to approve orders and then waste all your money. Can't say I've ever seen or heard of it actually happening though.

Sell the printed firelock electronics to buy materials for more firelock electronics, which you can do with your QM specific tablet without returning to the station. Congratulations, you have made a money printer. Proceed to buy gambling crates whenever possible, keeping the goodies and selling anything useless.

They are always sentient. I prefer buying a lot of lottery crates though. If you buy enough, you're pretty much guaranteed to get something fun.
