Pro-tip from a coder, when you make a statue of something in TGcode, it's only ever colored differently because a layer of color associated with the material is applied over it. If you want a perfectly colored replica, use white for your paint.
@@wayway7017 as another coder, it is true, what the statue is doing is taking the sprite your trying to copy, then adding a color layer over it that matches the material its made from that said, this doesnt apply to EVERYTHING, anything done in gags actually default to greyscale and then have color applied over it for example, but 95% of sprites are not done in gags and thus coloring it pure white (#00000) will revert the sprite to its default colors i used to do this with potions, slime potion of speed or fire proofing would color your clothes blue or red, but if you spray paint the clothes white they look normal again and still keep the effects note that it has to be pure white, any offwhite (#00042) or something will make it appear white, its only pure absolute white that reverts the sprite to its normal colors

I don't blame them completely because most ss13 servers have a problem with little to zero security players so it is better to slap them on the wrist and have ANY sec than role-ban and wait for another sec wannabe to appear... Almost nobody wants to main security because whenever you roll antag (and thus become other job than sec) other regular players immediately know you got antag and at least act more cautious around you. I dont like captians or sec officers that follows whatever laws they want. Legally the can kill the mime because of the guns. But dude, its just a minor recomendation and you need to revive and brig him correctly. You cant just kill someone that is not a real threath or cannot be contained.
When the law says "you can executte criminals who cannot be contained" it means powered vamps or similar. Not a non dangerous animal like Gondola.
Sorry for the bad english, and yes, I usually play as an officer and this things piss me off.

Also, gondolas can be contained. They don't have any access.
@@MrRavellon I mean. He used the officer's disabler. And I said that the Gondola was non dangerous, but the (captian?) said that he cant be contained because u cant cuff him.
The conclusion is: Spacelaw and Sec Sop are made to protect the crew, not to kill the clowny mime
@@pyromaremoto he drained it of energy and gave it back. Does not qualify. And "can't be cuffed" is not the same as "can't be contained" because humanoid can shove and therefore prevent further containment while gondola can't do anything.
Basically, fulp sec and caps do not know nor do they try to know Space Law or SOP. Despite acting as if they're experts.
Sad part is, that incompetence is generally encouraged on all MRP servers I've been on (with the exception of Manuel, to be fair) while robustness is discouraged (with inclusion of Manuel)
@@MrRavellon I dont know if Gondolas can attack and break things like other playable critters. And yes, you have a good point about the disabler. I usually play on Paradise station, so a little things are different (like space law changes or there is no gondolas). I agrreed that letals should not be used in this situation.
And..about the incompetence of sec or captian. What someone could do? I mean, only if you combat a lot in lrp servers you become robust, and if there is no magistrade/iaa you can be a shitty officer.
I wanna inprove that, but dont know how. Coordinations with your team and being a "competent" officer its really hard.

And with incompetence I was talking more about the fact none of the morons tried to right-click the tile to see what was in the way.
Then they went in the whole chase and got humiliated. And the admin tried to assist them with admin abuse against a mime who clearly had no intention of causing any harm, very cringe.
Then they executed the mime for bullshit reasons. And obviously they weren't gonna be punished for that precisely because they didn't know what was going on. Encouraging incompetence.
I've seen multiple times how success at a scheme was used as justification for harsher punishment. Discouraging competence.

Not only did they have no legal right to execute, the case for perma on Sabotage charges would be weak at best...

not only would they get a job ban for even authorizing let alone going through with an exection (mime unironically commited ZERO crimes except evade arrest, thats it), but executing a transformed player actually gibs them, gibbing is permanent round removal and is not allowed on most servers, especially fulp, that would have been a full on temp ban let alone a job ban, but ive found admins rarely give a rats ass what security and command do no matter how many rules they break
@@XiaoYueMao blocking brig entrance with statues (even visible ones) could be considered Sabotage (which is a felony on fulp) but like I said it is a weak case.
Admins on fulp definitely have issues policing security lately.
I don't blame them completely because most ss13 servers have a problem with little to zero security players so it is better to slap them on the wrist and have ANY sec than role-ban and wait for another sec wannabe to appear...
Almost nobody wants to main security because whenever you roll antag (and thus become other job than sec) other regular players immediately know you got antag and at least act more cautious around you. And let's be honest antag rounds are more exciting than anything else this game has to offer (except random bullshit, of course).

if that was really you, good, you deserved it, executing the mime under false pretenses, gibbing them which is round removal (and no, transformed humans are still considered humans and not considered valid for instant kills) are all against the rules, the worst crime mime did was evade arrest, thats 2 mins jail tops, not perma, not execution, and certainly not gibbing
Now you know that if you ever make the same mistake again (or someone shoots a chem dart full of Tranquility at you), you need to ingest pepper spray. Important lesson learned.
