I hate the potatoe chucks found in most Clam Chowders. I think his mistake is adding cream to the Bar Harbor Clam Chowder. It says on the side of the can "fully cooked, ready to heat and Eat" and it is. I found that the Bar Harbor Brand had the most clams of all competing Soups. Try Bar Harbor Clam chowders, you too will be thrilled.

You are partly correct. Bar Harbor does have a ready to serve version. This is condensed. The only version they had at Publix at the time. Condensed says to add butter and milk as desired Salt/pepper to taste. So... :)

Our favorite brand is Great Value. It's funny, because in a recent study, they rated it the worst.

Agreed! The day I bought the condensed they didn't have ready made. I should do a comparison between the two. Perhaps it wasn't a fair fight... :)
