Just as a note, since I had a new electric burner put in, it takes 20 cooking, 10-15 resting. So keep in mind stoves heat differently. That's using Farberware also.

I just found two of these (an 8" and a 10") they are significantly lighter weight than my Lodge cast iron and I like that they are smooth and shallow. I bought an old skillet that I love, heavy base, perfect size, etc. I didn't realize that it was nonstick. Ugh. I was ready to give up. Now i may be able to save it. I love old cookware. It's usually not nonstick. That's one of the reasons i love it. This one is though. I've got a lot of investigating and hopefully working to do on this skillet. I only have 2 cast iron skillets left. IDK who to blame for that. I can't afford to buy much right now and most of the flea markets are closed for the year so finding old cast iron is hard to do this time of year. That's why i bought that old skillet. I'm one week away from Thanksgiving and I have 2 skillets. Hopefully I'll have 3 by Christmas. Lol

The new ones are crap. I still use one though because printed labels wipe off with heavy handling. They do however offer a $80 office quality unit if you really hunt. You can actually switch the discs out on it for different fonts. It's also supposed to be easier to squeeze and has a much more industrial design factor being metal. Personally I just can't justify the expense to make labels for personal use items.

I’m curious if you use the white CW saucepans more often than the equivalent Visions pans? Even though they’re made of the same material, I find white Pyroceram takes just a tad longer to heat up than transparent and it also maybe heats a little more unevenly.
