So Sonic Nazo Unleashed is something I've known about for literally YEARS, but I just never got around to watching. It's one of the most iconic Sonic fan creations of all time, so it's time to fix that by reacting to the Director's Cut LIVE! We also react to Sonic: The Wrath of Nazo Intro Teaser & Animatic Trailer!
P.S. Yes I never watched it before now, although I did know about the characters Nazo & Shadic for years, I just never got around to watching any of the parts.

@@dark_nightwing_xl2797Yes he did. Sonic has that attack in SA2 Battle, in the multiplayer. If you have enough rings you can use that on your opponent. Look it up.

I grew up with this. I've got so much nostalgia for it. I wathced it before plaing SA2 and Heroes for the first time, so this was my introduction to Shadow.

The Shadic fusion is because of the Goku/Vegeta fusion from DBZ (which most of this fan film clearly takes inspiration from)
It's where most of sonic in general takes inspiration from, which is fine

Nazo unleashed is basically what a lot of us sonic fans have been begging for since 06 and Frontiers basically delivered half of everything that video offered. SEGA is taking steps in the right direction and hopefully they don’t step off that path anytime soon…

And I agree with your stance on Tails. In Adventure 1&2, he had an actual story arc, but was dropped in exchange for a bland character archetype, just like Shadow’s and Amy’s. Being relegated to just the smart guy role was super disappointing, and I practically had a stroke in Forces when he was cowering from a (please note, WEAKER) copy of Chaos 0, AFTER HE HAD ALREADY BEATEN CHAOS 4.

11:00 That's Knuckles using the fighting gloves in SA1. It had a charge effect that looked the same and then made him do a light speed dash at enemies. The effects for it look really screwed up though on the PC version and the DX port also didn't do it the same as the original.

God I remember watching this back when I was like 10. Didn't even really know what Dragon Ball Z was at all at the time other than a show I didn't feel like watching.
It's like DBZ, but without the 90% of it being slowing down the story with exposition and just going into the fighting. Pretty sick, even 10 years later. I think I remember the first half of this was made in 2006 but the other half of it is newer obviously with the Sonic Colors music from 2010.

This was my fondest memory as a sonic fan. 10 years ago i watched this along with the sonic ova all the time on my sister’s computer. Glad its about time you watched it for the first time last year.

Tails threw knuckles because he didn't have enough power to stop a GIANT RING BEAM temporarily and Knuckles and Tails showed up last second because they had an opening to do something they couldn't keep up with Nazo and Hyper Sonic just in their super forms.

Nazo was originally a unused super form/character TMS made for Sonic X.
If you plan on doing more reactions I recommend Super Mario Bros Z, if you've seen that then that's fine.

@@premydaremy I think sonic needs to be more cool again, Eggman needs to be very powerful and Sonic somehow always beats him because he's also respectably powerful and they're both respected in their own craft and feared for their strengths with also the characters and their traits as well. That's what makes sonic cool If we keep listening to these people who want to make sonic a meme then us real fans will walk away from the sonic series saying I'm too old or it's time for me to grow out of this. For then to the new generation who comes in for the only sonic they will remember as the meme sonic that nobody cares about and will eventually get old. So then Sonic will die out as something that wasn't as timeless as Pokemon or Mario with all its potential lost. And I truly think Sonic had more ambition and potential then Mario, but we failed somehow

I remember only watching a bit of it and stopped at where knuckles finds tails dead. The blood scared me so I stopped anf I haven't gotten to watch it again as I have no interest. I also thought it was a real anime made by Sega because of the voice clips but came to the realization when I saw how bloody it was and how they died. Now that i see this, it is beautiful and well edited. The way they used the voice clips is just so clever and its more impressive that they had to come up with a story to make those limited voices. The music is also great

They're moving faster than either him or knuckles could move even if they went super, knuckles is always about that action and even he didn't do anything until the beam struggle where they were standing still, hell he even blasted him but it did about as much as knuckles, him in forces is just bad writing that goes against how tails used to be the writers are kinda bad
