A UA-cam review of "Butterfly Kisses" by Chris Stuckmann inspired me in watching this. Whenever I started to lose interest in the film, or annoyed by the Gavin character, the writing and directing would engage me again with a reveal or a new mystery.
I think Gavin's irritatingly belligerent attitude was a bad choice on the part of the actor and the director. For me, at least, it became annoying enough to take me out of the story. A less over-the-top approach, in which Gavin's reactions were more about frustration and increasing desperation, would have been far more realistic and less disruptive. I _did_ enjoy the film overall, however.

I think the female main character in this Sofia is one of the rare found footage movie characters to actually survive after coming face to face with who or whatever comes after them. Though she had to blind herself and remove her eyelids to cheat the creature in this.

Question, so how is it that two college kids who were real people (in the movie) can have their existence wiped off the face of the Earth so when anyone tries to look them up, they find nothing, which is the leading cause for why people think Gavin is a fraud and that the two students were actors under fake names?
