In defense of "Gravity Falls" and its popularity, it's not like it *started* with the weird yellow triangle rearranging people's faces and making people hallucinate. That was near the very end of the show, approaching the climax. There was a rich, well-written story with compelling characters and mysteries leading up to that, so by the time you reach this scene, you're deeply invested in what's going on. The show is popular because it was genuinely really good, but you'd have to start from the beginning and follow the story to see why.
I was so happy when my kid was old enough to watch it. I didn't want him to be able to watch the tamer first part of the show without being able to finish it so I wouldn't let him watch it until the last episodes wouldn't give him nightmares.

Gravity falls is one of the best shows . You need to watch from the beginning to understand. Although weirdmagedon is pretty self explanatory it's an apocalypse of weirdness
You should have watched the kim possible episode where Kim's brothers share their flu and get her sick. The one in this video is just a dream.
Fun Fact: Ancient Greece did have toothpaste. They didn't have toothbrushes though. The toothpaste was made with pumice stone or oyster shells and flavored with charcoal. As you can imagine, it wasn't very appetizing.
I'm surprised he didn't have an angry reaction to Donald saying "no doctors?" like it's teaching children to not go to the doctor or the stigma that it's scary.
Also, I loved that he was throwing in his own version of the lyrics to Hercules 😂
8:25 someone needs to write a full version parody of this song for doctor Mike!
But on the Kim possible episodes, someone forgot to tell Mike, that part was a nightmare.

the Platypus is the one animal that drinks milk that doesn't come from a breast/nipple, it is instead secreted similar to sweat from a gland on the Platypi's stomach.
9:36 Donald's got Bumblefoot! 😅 (it's something that affects chickens, ducks, geese, etc.)
And rats
@@pap-fr interesting, I didn't know that 🤔
at 9:00 I was skeptical regarding the french inventing the first stethoscope. I mean think about ancient egypt where they were doing full surgeries! indeed there are reliefs in egypt which show what people theorize to be stethoscopes! take a look it's super cool -- we, in the west, have a REAAAAL irritating habit of assuming we were the first people to come up with anything...
I think you’d have a hoot (pun intended) watching some scenes from The Owl House and Amphibia where arms are ripped/chopped off.
Also, if you think Candace’s head is shaped weird, just wait until you actually see Phineas and Ferb’s heads😂
That or maybe when Eda's head was chopped off in the first episode, or the healing magic scenes, or the Hunter possession/Flapjack sacrifice scene
Funny seeing someone watch a part of the Gravity Falls series finale with no context. Not that the context from the rest of the series makes it less weird, but maybe easier to understand the ‘why’ of it.
mike, they did oral hygiene before tooth brushes, but more importantly, diet was so vastly different that they rarely had issues we see today. no grains, no potatoes, just meat and greens. it's really uncommon to find an per-historic scull with rotten teeth
1:07 how dare you slander gravity falls
3:08 nope, a platypus sweats milk
"Do people watch this?"
Dr mike needs to watch the full show fr
Dang it. I wanted an expert opinion on Candice's completely normal allergic reaction to parsnips that turns her voice into Decota from Milo Murphy's Law.
Hahahahaha that was the best!!!
Can we all just appriciate how so many of the comments defend one of the greatest shows of all time?
I feel like we need a petition for doctor Mike to watch Gravity falls, it's awesome, we promise!
1:25: If it LETS You! That thing turns you to stone. 😆
tbh dr mike reacting to the anime monster would be a banger video, especially that the main character is a surgeon and there are lots of surgical and medical scenes.
We appreciate Dr Mike's insights on various topics. It's as if he's born to do the kind of job he has now.
