In defense of "Gravity Falls" and its popularity, it's not like it *started* with the weird yellow triangle rearranging people's faces and making people hallucinate. That was near the very end of the show, approaching the climax. There was a rich, well-written story with compelling characters and mysteries leading up to that, so by the time you reach this scene, you're deeply invested in what's going on. The show is popular because it was genuinely really good, but you'd have to start from the beginning and follow the story to see why.

And there are certain shows like Kim Possible and Gravity Falls that it's just expected would be on there, but that doesn't mean his editor can just marathon both series to find the best scenes. When European colonists first arrived at America, they assumed that the natives would have awful teeth, but it turns out they had pearly white teeth. In Italy a code black is never given. If I'm not mistaken it goes from white (not severe at all) to green, yellow, orange, red, and black. With black being literally dead. But because you can't certify a patient or anyone is dead without checking first you can't give a code black. We once went to the emergency call center in our town. We have a specific set of guidelines per the EU regulations. The number is the same for all members of the EU (if I'm not mistaken it's dialed 115). Where you get sorted out for your issue. Then you get transferred to a specialized branch of emergency services once assessed. Where by law if you don't speak the local language you are granted an on call interpreter to make operations as smooth as possible. Which is great for travellers and tourists. There are privacy laws but I think I can say this. A man called for a code black. And let's just say the phone operator said unless verified by a professional it's can't be guaranteed.

Dr. Mike: "all milk comes from teats".
Duck billed platypus "Orly?" The duck billed platypus is a mammal but does NOT have nipples. The milk just sort of oozes out of the mammary glands and a baby platypus licks it off of the mother's fur.

at 9:00 I was skeptical regarding the french inventing the first stethoscope. I mean think about ancient egypt where they were doing full surgeries! indeed there are reliefs in egypt which show what people theorize to be stethoscopes! take a look it's super cool -- we, in the west, have a REAAAAL irritating habit of assuming we were the first people to come up with anything...
