Never been a fan of the rocky beach at Brighton but the brighton pavilion is one of my favorite places

OMG the last time I went to Brighton was like 2011 or something. My brother drove from Leicester to Brighton which took four hours and dragged my cousins as well for the trip. I wanted to go to a gallery because I was doing a degree in fine Art. The exhibition was rubbish and only took 30 minutes to go around. Feeling disappointing we went on the cold windy beach and had some hot and delicious chips on a bench then we left Brighton LOL. Your trip was so much more fun and I want to go back and have more Pleasant time than last time.
Those are my fav type of beaches, all rocks and no sand!
Stones, not rocks in England! Rocks are things that you clamber over and look for fish in rock pools between them.
Gillian Boakes That is interesting that you make that distinction. I am from Chicago, right on the shores of stunning Lake Michigan. If you have never seen any of the US Great Lakes, they look exactly like oceans from the shore.
Anyway, here a rock is a rock, regardless of the size. If I am riding my bike to the lake, I may go to the beach (sand) or the rocks, which are enormous and line parts of the shoreline. But I may pick up a rock (small) to skip across the water.
So a rock is a rock, regardless of size.
Stones for us usually mean something precious (diamonds) or semi-precious (sapphires, emeralds, etc.).

That tower you both were on should be in London and the millennial wheel in Brighton.We visited in 2017 and used the Hotel Royal Albion. Great tourist spot. Just thought I'd drop in on Brighton and check videos...great memories, great couple. Thanks

These are my favorite types of videos to watch, I always love to take notes of fun things to do in different places. My family and I hope to eventually go on a vacation to the UK, And I am going to definitely suggest going to Brighton when we do.

I love your showing us the different places in Britain, loved the sea front and the 360 liked the view but I don't like heights, the food looks great. If I lived in Britain I would definitely go for a visit. I like seeing places I will never experience in person.

Thank you for the Brighton trip and review. Always a joy watching your videos. I hope you two had a nice amount of time to spend there to feel settled in and relaxed. I can't believe the place you ate at gets away with serving you those small, mostly ice filled drinks. I suppose it's a seasonal place and it has to have that kind of profit margin to keep open? Beach front business's always get hit up hard with taxes and costs.
We had two homes growing up & both were on the water, one on the Puget Sound & the other the Pacific Ocean.. I really miss the ocean, w this covid-19 thing, I can't go to the ocean because of closures. Love Brighton Beach!

You'll be thankful that the sorting out the teething problems with the i360 - it kept breaking down in the early days and people were stuck up there for ages. There is a commode for emergencies....:D

The i360 is quite new in Brighton, isn't it? It didn't exist when I got there a few years ago, unfortunately. I can't wait to get back to Britain and visit all these lovely places as soon as the pandemic is over.

That is the main issue, the majority of people don't care about wearing face masks when indoors and others. Hence, the cases in the UK are going UP. Stay safe and more videos.

You need to tell Americans that Brighton beach is stones and rocks. We think of a beach as sand where a person can lie comfortably on a blanket.

Are British beaches all like that, with all the rocks, or is it just Brighton?
Some are sand, some are rocks, some are both
There is a long stretch along the south coast (roughly half of it at guess) that is pebbley but most are sand or shingle
If they call pebbles rocks, they won't know what shingle is!

Having lived there for 30 years and embraced everything about Brighton I’ve sold up and moved out. It’s a tourist dump .
Filthy streets. Heavy open drug dealing. Coated in graffiti and the worst recycling in the UK and run by a GREEN council .
Good for the tourist . Hell for the residents
