This 162m (531ft) tall observation tower opened in 2016 and allows visitors to get spectacular views across the Brighton and Hove area. In this vlog we take you along for the full i360 experience and share the spectacular views across the area, along with talking about some of the iconic landmarks!

When you started the vlog with; "The modern looking building behind me", i didn't even notice the 'tower'. It just looked so smal and part of the sidewalk :D
Its a quite pricy "ride" for such a short time. Glass floor is a big NO! But they could have some section of it glass though :)

I don‘t get it. You see some (not particularly special looking) houses and the ocean, that looks the same from the Beach. I don‘t get why you would pay to see something that you can see for free from the ground.
It’s certainly overpriced for what it is, however I do enjoy the overall look and engineering of it!
I can imagine the views are nice on a sunny day! But 16:50 is pretty steep for a ride like this

Wow BA I360 tower does look quite high, the tower is extremely expensive, the best views I had was travelling to Jersey for my family vacation on a plane a few years ago shame about the weather at least it wasn't raining which was good. Shawn which UK tower would you say is the tallest out of Blackpool, Wales and Brighton? Thank you for sharing this vlog with us, spectacular views ay Shawn. Looking forward to your Brighton pier vlog

fun fact the residants of brighton ( me being one also) actuly hate the i360 we think its an eye sore and a waist of money. and it should just be ripped down. apparently british airways are going to sell it to a fast food chain.

I think I prefer my old Xbox 360, especially when you see how much that ride was £16.50 I won't be going on that, unless there is a discount for wheelchair users 😀😀

It doesn't look that tall when your close to it but it is so tall you can actually see it on the motorway!!!

As a Brighton resident I can tell you most people here hate this eyesores 360 it's a one time only experience that is totally dependent on the weather.
It's completely out of place on a Regency sea front should have been built at the marina.
It's over priced and not even British a Spanish airline now owns BA!
It's a massive con job don't visit or wait until Merlin take it over and lower the prices and make it more family friendly maybe... 😁👍

What happend to West pier

A lot. But basically after going through several different ownerships, it kept on running into financial problems. Being closed for years with no owner, the structure damage due to storms got so bad that half of the pier collapsed (you can find pictures of it if you Google West Pier Collapse) and then the remaining part was set on fire by arsonists which firefighters couldn't get to because of the collapse. Now all there is left of it is some of the steel work, its just a heritage site now.

Stop moaning about prices 😂 it's £31 for the London eye so £16 for that is a bargain for those of us who appreciate a good observation tower.
Though the Merlin pass probably reduces the price of the Eye to £0.

We’ll always be honest and share our thoughts in these videos. It’s definitely worth doing, however we feel that it’s quite expensive for what it is!

It is. I live in Brighton and I don't like it. Could have rebuilt the West Pier for a fraction of what this cost.
Yes, the houses don‘t seem to be very special and the ocean looks the same from above. I don‘t get why you would pay for that.
I enjoy it however feel that it’s definitely overpriced for what it is!
It is a complete waste of money and time. Half of the view is of the sea, and there are hardly any landmarks in Brighton anyway. One can get a better view from up on the South Downs and that is free of charge. As a hideous sructure, hated by many of the residents, it is a symbol of the rotten state of the local council, who are continually turning the promenade into what must be the ugliest in Britain. And it is making a continuous loss of money all the time, as word gets around that it is not worth bothering to visit. Eyesore 360, or maybe Eyesore 180 would be a more appropriate name for it.
