loved it once again. SMALL critique: personally, I don't like when people go to foreign countries and whenever a place is nice , they say it feels 'western' or like a 'western holiday destination'. It just feels like they can't authentically be so beautiful without being labelled 'western', almost taking the credit away from the country and giving it to the west. I know that's not what you meant (you probably meant it reminds you of italy or something).... it is just wording sometimes is powerful. Very good vlog nonetheless. I love looking at the food and location is very pretty and peaceful :) keep em comin'!

The term “western” or “westernized” stems from being affiliated with capitalism, instead of communism. Hence Japan, Australia, and South Korea for some examples are referred to as westernized countries. It just goes back to the Cold War, and has nothing to do with the actual geological location of the country. Hope that makes you feel less offended 😊

*Harry, as you probably already know, Lebanon gets a good amount of snow on its mountain hills during the winter. Although winter is relatively short, there are decent ski resorts which open their doors usually starting in December. Of course, this is quite unique in the Middle East. However, the Summer is definitely more fun with long sunny days and hardly any rain at all! (as you have experienced)* 😊

Just had lemonade last night too Harry. Wish i could say the same with the yummy food you had, lol.
So here are my latest recommendations Harry. For a unique restaurant experience (like the one you had at Singing Cooks and Waiters here), pls check out KAMAYAN AT PALAISDAAN RESTO RESORT in Laguna. (Just don't mistake it for the other one in Quezon Province coz of the similar names.) The place is hard to describe. It's like a floating restaurant/theme park. They have jungle theme with giant statues, fountains, live performers doing acrobats, boat rides, etc. Best to check other vlogs on it coz online images aren't really showing the actual attractions there.
Other popular places in Laguna are ENCHANTED KINGDOM Amusement Park and PAGSANJAN WATERFALLS where you can do Shooting the Rapids - a fast canoe ride towards the falls. (However, the waters there are green and not like the falls in Cebu where they are turquoise blue because of the abundance of limestone.)
You can also try to visit Dr. Jose Rizal's ancestral home in Calamba. Btw, Laguna is less than 3 hrs drive from Manila.
In Manila, i suggest you also visit the FILLING STATION BAR AND CAFE in Makati, famous for its over-the-top American diner concept. My other restaurant recommendation in Manila is Max Restaurant which was founded in 1945. They have good Filipino food there, but they're best known for their fried chicken (not breaded like Jollibee's). It's more home style kind but is really good. They have several branches throughout the metro, most are in the big malls.
    :)
