Hesitant to send you much of our sunshine... it's been unusually rare this year! 😂 This one is a small workshop... I can barely move around the bikes, but we do have a BIG workshop where my engine build is underway, and where my 848 teacj bike lives. Hi, Can i change the sensor without empty the coolant ? And i don't have the connector to reset the default, so maybe the default will stay after change the sensor ? Thank you.
No, the coolant has to be drained or it will just pour out where you remove the sensor. The fault code being present shouldn't affect anything but you can get a dealer to clear it on your next visit. If you plan to keep working on your bike, the OBD and adapter and app is worthwhile to get.

I found some cheap cable and mecadiag on pc to reset the default. I think i would test it. If i let the problem of sensor (when the temperature is 10/20 degree celcius i don't have the probleme. Can i continue to ride for the summer or it's a risk to my bike ?
@guillaumethorel4732 please know I'm not a mechanic so I only know what I learn and research, but many other SS owners have said the bike is safe to ride with the faulty sensor. Of course, you may not know the real temperature so perhaps don't ride it too hard and make it too hot!! 😁
