Mate, you would absolutely save my life if you can direct me to the parts for the audio jacks at the back. One of the inputs was sold to me broken! Hadnt noticed the glue on it till now when I tried to undo the nut and it snapped!!
Great vid! Love the screen replacement - Though the first clip of it shows it inverted, black on white, then cuts to white on black. Is that a different screen assembly or is there a way to invert the colours? :O
I'm wondering the same. A very powerful soldering iron is required I guess. I just changed all the encoders on my Octatrack and it was impossible with my 40 watts Weller to remove solder. I just cut all the legs and bought brand new encoders for 20 euros
Dont know about the encoders, but I replaced the screen lately and the solder was holding heaaavy. Took me a 4-5 hours combined just desoldering 20 pins holding the screen using solder wick. Make sure you take your time use good quality flux and heat the shit out of it. Apparently they used lead based solder during initial assembly, it held and wouldn't come off for a long time
Really helpful! Thank you for the id of the jog encoder. Do you know how could I source the push knobs ? I know i can get some at elektron or eBay , but maybe you would have the part number like with the jog ? I got myself 128x64 5v blue LCD ks0107/0108 real cheap should fit nice i guess. Man I'd be really grateful if you could share the part id of the data/level knobs
I would love to know where can I find a wheel and encoders like that , love your work !!
Was really interested in this, but... Bro!!!! That music!! Really needed a change somewhere. 😜
Which are these black knobs and where can i find these please?

Oh wow! What was that pin de-soldering tool at 5:56, I could definitely use one of those
Seems to be a Hakko desoldering station
cool! jogwheel and metal knobs..where can I get?
Any need to recap some of the electrolytics yet?
Hi! Q: Can you fix Monomachine? Mine crashes on power up, it’s a common problem with them.
do you provide this update servicing to other users ?
I’m looking for a new screen for my monomachine- what display module did you use for this?

Do you offer restoration services??
What's the part number for the replacement screen? I've been wanting to replace my red screen but couldn't find which part to use
are you still building mega commands?
Good job. Do you know how to fix md draining battery? My md drains brand new battery in 1-2 weeks
What is this substance you are applying 3:14 and where is being applied?
I think silicone grease
Are you selling the MegaCommands?

@@solidmoods my model its a mk1 sps1 but maybe i can find one so close to it. Thank you.
@@Gianluccazz then I'm not sure. According to the video here mk1 has different voltage. I would double check on elektronauts forums
How did you safely solder those encoders out of there?? 2:40

Ok the id you provided is for the push knobs . So, rephrasing my question , did you source the jog part id as well as the buttons ? Thanks in advance
I'd just replace the encoders if going to the bother to desolder them
Hmmmm the buttons changed at the end.
Wdym? They look the like the same buttons all the way though
least appropriate music
Wonderful job! Is this a service you offer or just a personal project?
