I’m not even vegetarian I just want to cut down on my meat consumption we need to save the world peeps Edit : for anyone confused, consuming a lot of meat actually leaves quite a lot of carbon footprint. so more pollution in the air
Yeah that's my reason for reducing my meat consumption. I'm thinking of doing this a few times a week and if that goes well I'll do this most of the time and only eating meat when I'm eating out with friends and family or I'm having dinner at someone else's house
Y'all don't HAVE to be vegan or vegetarian to eat these meals...like why ya gotta be so fragile about it lol. If you're having meat and or a animal product in EVERY SINGLE MEAL YOU EVER EAT....you need to treat yourself right and eat one of these veggie meals, like your lower intestine will thank you for this once in a while.
This is actually everyday life in India where most of the people are vegetarian. We eat several varieties of pulses (called daal here), and honestly they are the best source of vegetarian protein.
This is 'everyday life' for almost all vegetarians and vegans in the world because beans and lentils contain protein in great amounts. Daal/lentil soup is a staple even for meat eaters in the entire subcontinent. And what foods can be made with lentil? It's harder to answer what canNOT be made of it. Daal can be of several types and you never get bored of it, especially lentil soup (staple food). There is a kind of batter mix ingredient made of daal called besan here and coating winter vegetables with a batter of flour, besan and spices of your choice are delicious (vegan junk food basically). Khichuri is rice added with daal, spices and your own choice of vegetables, meat eaters even add meat but you can make it with vegetables as well and it tastes amazing (comfort food). I mentioned three types without much detail. I can't really tell you the recipe because I can't cook lol.
Innuendo Hazbarz My family takes daal soup at least once in a day, but I know people who take it even twice. This is important as daal is one of India’s largest produce(maybe behind rice and wheat). It is cheap and is consumed by the poor and rich alike. As comfort food, daal is soaked and stewed with different spices which makes a lunch staple. It is also used alongside rice in Khichdi, which is like an overcooked mushy risotto (but we Indians love it as that is the way we are used to eat it). As street food, it is mostly soaked and crushed with spices and fried like fritters, or completely puréed and fermented to make dosas, idlis and vadas The comment above mine too is a great elaboration, probably better than mine.
That is very great that you do that!!! I am currently removing meat from my diet and my dad said “it makes him sick” that I don’t want to eat meat. I wish he would try meatless recipes for me

Theres a difference between vegan and vegetarians. Vegans have NO animal products what-so-ever, while vegetarians can choose to have them, such as milk and eggs. :3 (Both obviously don't eat any meat though.)
My advice to get the most flavour into tofu: Fry it up really well so all sides are really crispy. Then pour over a liquidy marinade to your liking(I love lots of soy sauce, some kind of tangy syrup like pomegranate, a little lime juice and lots of spices like paprika, cumin, coriander, some turmeric and salt and chili). Cover it immediately and let it 'simmer' for a few minutes. You can take it out and fry up other veggies or throw them in with it. The texture reminds me of deepfried tofu. It won't be crispy anymore, but it will have this outer layer and a beautifully soft inside and it will be bursting with all the flavours you put into it. I have never had so much success with traditionally marinading it. I have also never seen anyone do this before. Just try it, it works amazingly.

Made the Protein Packed Chili the other day. It was so good! Even better the next day after the quinoa absorbs all the extra liquid. Definitely would recommend trying it out!
This is what I hate as a vegetarian. Every protein-packed thing is just a different version of a salad. (Those noodles look kind of interesting though). Thanks for sharing these.
A black bean burger is just ingredients that you would put in a salad packed together. The noodles, like I mentioned seem to be the most interesting. Chili is just filled with, again, ingredients you would find in a salad but instead cooked into a soup (and soup isn't all that exciting either).
SaiyanABlazeNinja yeah I really doubt that the chilli and black bean burger taste remotely similar. They added many different seasonings in it (nothing you would find in a salad) to manipulate it's flavor
Then we'll just have to agree that we eat our salads differently, cause the majority of those ingredients have been in almost every salad I've ever eaten lol
Still vegan? I’ve gone veggie for 2 weeks... wanna go for 1 month... trying to gain some self control... honestly and very happy with it... I feel really good... but I am looking forward to that stake at the end of this... after that I think I will continue to keep a lot of the veggie dishes I’ve learned in my menu
Innuendo Hazbarz but some of the stuff people have told you are truth, human have "a big ass brain" because meat is high in fat and calories, or eating too much soy is bad for SOME PEOPLE. (but I agree with you some people don't know anything or believe things that aren't truth at all)
for the last damn time soy is not bad for you unless you are allergic to it,it has plant estrogen which is not human or mammalian estrogen so it doesn’t affect your hormones. It’s Dairy that actually has mammalian estrogen but I don’t see people freaking out over it and even making up a term like “soy boy” and claiming males will get “man boobs”.
I used to be vegetarian but I was lazy and didn't find the right meals for protein. I eat meat now, but it's only chicken and seafood. I don't plan to ever go back to beef, pork, etc. though, they grossed me out 100x more than chicken lol. But I still prefer vegetarian meals when I have the option, so I'll try these :)
All this "I'm not a vegetarian but I'll try it". Shut up, we've been eating food with and without meat for centuries. Don't try acting like eating food without meat is something new and trendy, it's not trendy, it's just food without meat. About "I'm willing to try it", as if every meal you've eaten has had meat, or is it that you want to seem semi trendy to the vegetarians (it's not trendy). Just fucking eat it and shit it out, doesn't matter what it is.
Innuendo Hazbarz that rotten milk is actually cultured milk, not rotten you idiot, and why do vegans always cal it dead flesh as if they’re trying to make it sounds inhumane, we don’t think it’s inhumane, you people do

My advice to get the most flavour into tofu:
Fry it up really well so all sides are really crispy.

I have also never seen anyone do this before. Just try it, it works amazingly.

You guys should watch if meat eaters were vegans, I think you would enjoy it honestly 😂 it shows how stuck up vegans are cause honestly nobody is gonna listen to them but they don’t make much of a difference. It’s like 10 fingers: 9 eat meat, 1 vegan. Cut off vegan finger and you live just as well.
I just wanted to say how much I love your ideas these recipes look so simple and delicious I can't wait to get started on them I'm trying to make a life change I am trying to become vegetarian I've always had problems with eating meat I'm not going to say I don't eat meat because I have but I really don't want to go down that way anymore so with these recipes is going to make life a lot easier thank you so much for the great tips
could eat tofu all day tbh
Made the Protein Packed Chili the other day. It was so good! Even better the next day after the quinoa absorbs all the extra liquid. Definitely would recommend trying it out!
*presses on vegetarian video*
Ad: mc donalds chicken wrap
Wow, you’re a master in the kitchen. I wish I could do this
This is what I hate as a vegetarian.
Also, if two things are packed with vegetables, 3 spices isn't going to make it taste like a completely different meal.
SaiyanABlazeNinja lmao who puts cayene, cumin & chili powder in their salads. das gross
My grandmothers Mahendra kaur and Usha Devi cooked the most delicious food. Wish you well grandmas!
My mother can make a tofu handmade :).
ok
Cool!
Me too :)
Finally a 'vegetarian' called video on tastys channel where not each and every recipe is packed with egg an dairy products. Well done!
There are no-meat vegetarians and no-animal-food vegetarians. 🤦🏻♀️
Crap I just rubbed my eye making the chili.
Thanks for this. I need some variety in my protein dishes besides the usual fish and chicken, so this helps greatly.
I’m going vegan for a year.
Hows it going?
Still vegan?
I’ve gone veggie for 2 weeks... wanna go for 1 month... trying to gain some self control... honestly and very happy with it... I feel really good... but I am looking forward to that stake at the end of this... after that I think I will continue to keep a lot of the veggie dishes I’ve learned in my menu
The recipies are amazing. Thank you for the video!
I think I’m gonna go vegan u guys. Dang

I hate that people think being a vegetarian means eating tofu. Too many of these dishes have tofu. Too much soy isn't good for you.
You sound mad. I'm a vegetarian and I don't eat tofu, so you can "shut the entire fuck up"
Innuendo Hazbarz bro why so much hate against meat eaters and even vegan people, I've seen you in all the comments in this comment section...
Innuendo Hazbarz but some of the stuff people have told you are truth, human have "a big ass brain" because meat is high in fat and calories, or eating too much soy is bad for SOME PEOPLE. (but I agree with you some people don't know anything or believe things that aren't truth at all)
Innuendo Hazbarz 😂😂
for the last damn time soy is not bad for you unless you are allergic to it,it has plant estrogen which is not human or mammalian estrogen so it doesn’t affect your hormones.
The first 4 are vegan, last 2, vegetarian.
literally what I wanted, I was thinking if tasty has one of these yesterday night
James Wright people also go vegetarian or vegan for the animals
Why I don't like vegans:
they disrespectful asf.
Holy fuck dude, if you want more people to become vegan, don't post comments like this. it's makes you and the vegan community look bad. lmao
hirb I'm not a vegan.........lmao
WHY ARE YOU SO BITTER HOLY FUCK
Man I’m not vegetarian but these meals look fye def will try one of em
the chili one best one doe
vegetarian protein = spinach
spinach = sh*t
Not true at all
Burningwithecstasy *soyabean, tofu, cheese, nuts, beans, lentils*. (vegetarian and not vegan). You’re so dumb if you mean just that.
Popeye is greeting
Making delicious veggie dishes while listening to this deep house music is awesome!
Title of song please?
HAHA YESSSS SAME THOUGHTS
Someone said is Yves - New
Am I the only one who can't stand tofu
Everyone has their preferences and that's alright
Innuendo Hazbarz why are you replying to every comment
No your not the only one
Innuendo Hazbarz that rotten milk is actually cultured milk, not rotten you idiot, and why do vegans always cal it dead flesh as if they’re trying to make it sounds inhumane, we don’t think it’s inhumane, you people do
FINALLY I’ve been waiting for this video!! Thank you!❤️
I LISTEN TO THIS WHEN I COOK soundcloud.com/gookgang/movin

These meals look SO delicious! Definitely will make these. I am trying to be vegetarian and I do struggle with not having enough protein in my meals.. thanks for all the tips!
