The texture of your hair wonderful. Your twist out results are absolutely beautiful. 4c hair requires the gentlest of the gentlest handling and care. When I see it long, healthy and well loved and cared for, like in the case of your hair, it's such a pleasure. Your hair is obviously very healthy. If you allow it to get longer, it will become even more magnificent than it is right now. I'm tuning in so I can have a front row seat to watch this gorgeous hair continue to blossom and bloom.
I've watched like a dozen three strand twist vids...and honestly, this is only one that made sense. That twistout was so pretty! I told you your hands can do no wrong!
Congratulations from me too! Best tutorial on 3 strand twists. I finally get it! I've been using the hack from Sola at Discovering Natural. I'll probably keep using it though.Thank you!
Beautiful, honey! I'm about to search your channel for an updated routine, but if you don't have one, could do your wash/deep conditioning day? Thanks!💁🏾
This is very cute ! I'm finally starting to love my hair (they are similar to yours) but some people of my family keep saying that I should perm them or braid them because I don't have "good hair", it hurts me because I used to really really hate my hair and I don't want to feel that way ever again but being judged by your own family when you proudly wear an afro or twist out or whatever... hurts and make me question myself P.S: sorry if there are any mistakes
There's nothing wrong with your hair, and it's *very* good. Your family just needs to change their mindset; but don't allow their comments to discourage you. And don't allow your level confidence to be dictated by their opinions. Be confident in yourself and how you were made. "Remove the kinks from your mind; not your hair." - Marcus Garvey #TruerWords P.S. I didn't get "good/bad hair" comments, but I received a lot of "What are you doing with your hair?", "Why don't you perm it?" kind of questions. I paid them no mind because my hair was healthy, growing, and most importantly, beautiful *to me*. Half of those people now admire my hair and/or went natural themselves. Keep going.
I agree with Trinican Bee. The more you rock, love, and appreciate your natural hair, the more quiet they will become. Especially when people compliment your hair. You will win them over with your positive attitude toward your hair and yourself, although your goal is not to win them over necessarily. Our kinkier hair is resilient, versatile, magnificent, and mesmerising. Check out all the type 4Cs here on YT.
