I’ve said it before, but I don’t understand how your channel isn’t 10x as big. Your camera work, editing, narration is on a whole other level. Great work!
These small movies like this one are the best in the automotive videography. This almost vlog style is an interesting way to go. It amazes me how can edit this to perfection. Every scene suits the whole concept well. No unnessecary shots. Just perfection. Thank you for all the efforts Luke, so I am able to forget own problems and struggles and beeing able to just relax and follow your trip. Huge inspiration. Cheers
8:56 I love how you lit this shot. Block the sun with your head and then use the hillside as a 'bounce' to get front lighting. Nice glow all around. Gorgeous!
oh my days! this came out sooooo good my dude! Astonishing views and crazy sounding cars. Gotta say that Dakar became one of my favorite 911's ever since you gave me a passenger ride in that one. Suspension, sound, looks and raw power is 10/10. Looking forward to more adventures!
The south of France is really amazing for nice back roads and beautiful landscapes. Next time you should come explore the Vercors between Grenoble and Valence, one of my favourite place to drive, it is amazing !!
@@laiebi_3639 It's a bit far of the RDGA but if you have time for the detour why not ! It depends of the time you have and if you prefer driving or taking time for some stops and exploration. Tell me !
@@laiebi_3639 Nice ! Here are the places you must see (everything is better south to north): Gorges de la Bourne (n°1), Col du Rousset, Route touristique de Combe Laval and Pont-En-Royans (a beautiful little town to visit, have an ice cream and even dive in the river). If you really have time I can suggest you this itinerary : Die > Col du Rousset > Font d'Urle > Col de la Bataille > Route Touristique de Combe Laval > Pont-En-Royans > Gorges de la Bourne > Gorges du Furon > Sassenage Even with that there's still lots more places to discover !
@@shrikewing Thank you so much, sounds really cool and will try to include as good as possible. Otherwise I'll make a seperate trip more to the west in future :)
Owning a 992 GT3, roadtripping in a 911 Dakar and week after week testing all these incredible barely stock 911ses, what a lucky bloke you are ! Work does get difficult, doesn’t it 🤣 Let me applaud 👏 Continue the good stuff. It’s like sharing a motoring holiday with you.
I love that you love Porsche's so much, shoutout to Porsche Switzerland for the great car but most of all thank you Luke for the awesome content. 1 month as a subscriber and I don't see myself ever watching any car reviewing channels because they are not Carswithluke.❤
Cinematography in this one was off the charts, the scenery on "the final run" was amazing almost like a canyon. At first I thought you were visiting Monaco for the F1 race😅
yet the best road trip video I've seen so far, it's one of those very few and far between videos that make you feel engaged with and enjoy every last second of, to finally leave you with a great warm feeling, thank you buddy!
This car immediately became my absolute dream car to once drive, let alone have. It's such a special car and it just the ultimate proof of the versatility of the 911. I really hope Porsche will make more of these, but a bit more affordable and in higher numbers. A 'Dakar Touring' or something. edit: just now saw the numberplate, brilliant
Looked like amazing road trip. Also well captured and shared with us fans of your work. Seems like I have to add these roads to my bucket list because it looks amazing. Well done, another amazing movie!
Hi Luke! Thank you for a great summer adventure! I'm living vicariously through you and this video has inspired me to go on my own road trip next week with my WRX! Love everything you do, and all your creativity, as always! Cheers!
Interesting to hear your conclusion regarding the GT3 vs RS, makes sense... Seems even less streetable than the last generation. Love the Dakar, great video!
Fantastic video, this may be the ultimate road trip 911. There's a thread in one of the Porsche forums suggesting that a "safari" option will be available on all non-GT 992.2's, has anyone heard that?
This video was awesome! Would love to see more like this. It would be really cool too see what else you get up to when you visit these places but I understand it can a chore to try record everything when you want to enjoy yourself at the same time. Fantastic video as usual!
Come here for the incredible Porsche content. I feel like you’re my spirit animal. From the love of Porsche all the way down to the Bally attire. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I literally waited a day so I can have enough time to watch the video from end to end. Once again - superb work, Luke, at this stage nothing less is expected, lol :))
This was a proper road trip. Enjoying the very car you drive, not looking for other cars in monaco. We either get high production bs, or potato but quality content. This is the best of both. My favourite shot is the drone shot of just the road with the carved rock formation. One thing i missed was watching the gt3 with sound, but with a cool drone shot so that the car is visible through the twists and turns. Your best video in my eyes. Thanks
I left this one for a day when I can truly take my time to enjoy it while not being in a hurry and I'm glad I did because it was fantastic, I love your long vlog style content. Let the review guys do the reviews, do exactly what you do the best - sharing the experience and the feel. Also, great company makes for a great trip. I've never heard of Misha but he made the video even cooler. Everyone needs a buddy like Misha - someone to always push you out of the comfort zone on even the smallest things. :) And holy shit does the GT3 sound insane but Alex's GT4 is something else, such a raspy, mean sound. Can't wait for the next one regardless of what car you'll take and where you'll go.
I’ve said it before, but I don’t understand how your channel isn’t 10x as big. Your camera work, editing, narration is on a whole other level. Great work!
We can feel also the maturity of almost all the people commenting his videos, it's not the same community with other youtubers. This is our niche :d
He will get there@@Queyproco :)
Like watching National Geographic specials... Orcas of the Pacific, Lemurs of Madagascar, ... Next up, Dakars of Monaco.
never clicked so fast on a video.

The italian guy was unsure about answering against Ferrari in case the italian automakers see him.. haha but he knows. Porsche is the best.

That is what I call it real passion! Thanks for sharing it with us Luke! Lovely intro, this 911 Dakar is a masterpiece.
Thanks very much 🙏
Spectacular cinematography as always

Happy the details are noticed 😊
10:51 The "dance" between the music and the transitions was terrific! So good!!
29 minutes of epic content. The cinematography, choice of music and overall edits is just on another level. Nice one Luke!
Thanks man, happy to read!
God, what a video - already know that this'll be up there with your Best of the Alps video. Simply mesmerising.
Luke... i gotta say, you have THE BEST AUDIO with your content, killing it, thank you for this gem.

Cheers, yes was really fun, more to come for sure.
Came inside from a gloriously sunny day to watch this, was the right choice 🔥
Apprecite it 🤘🏻
