First time I made these was at least 35 years ago. They also came out perfectly and I was SO happily surprised at the ease except the long stirring of the custard - my arm, lol. I couldn’t believe how well it went! People think it’s some very intricate stuff but it’s straight forward; eyeball each step and imho you need the techniques more than anything - and you’ve presented them here perfectly. 👍 Thanks! Trying your recipe soon. It’s 5 am here haha and I’m drooling. 😊
This was an impeccable presentation. I'm printing out your recipe and see how mine comes out (I'm sure it will be fantastic (following your thorough instructions that I totally appreciate). Thank you for sharing this, I'm very grateful to you. Oh, and I almost forgot - I'm from the USA (Colorado)
I am from Vienna/Austria and this pastry is a very well known dessert in Austria. Here this is called "Brandteig-Krapfen" (“choux pastry donut”). For many, this type of dough is a challenge and few can do it really well. You really explained and did it really well! Thanks! And greetings from Vienna! :)
Love how it's explained.. some just make them don't indicate the downfalls of the cream puffs not keeping their shape.. great demonstration and explanation!.. i know..ive made them.. have had great results.. but theres always room to learm more.. hello from Canada 👋 👋 thank you!!
Thanks for sharing. I loved to always try these but held back, thoughts that it won’t work out well. Definitely l’m going to, with your patient, easy to follow demo. Much appreciated from South Africa. God bless.

I make cream puffs all the time! They are not hard to make, and I have no fancy tools. I find a wooden spoon works better than a spatula.
