the best part of shopping for a new torch is the research and the frustration of not finding the holy grail within your budget. I was never 100% sold on the fenix but its popularity makes me look at it. I'm glad I found this unbiased top notch review.
I wish these flashlight manufacturer would start to sponsor you. Your review is by far the most polished and cleanest quality out there. Well, keep grinding if you love it
Thanks, I really appreciate it! I'm not exactly sponsored by anyone yet, but companies have started sending me free lights to review, which you can see in my other videos. I have a couple more of these coming up soon. Nice review! looks like a great light but the cool white tints on fenix aren't for me. The SP31 v2 is also a similar less expensive version of PD35 v2 with 4000k(looks like 4500k) lh351d but isn't as powerful.
I think this light would be pretty good, but I usually recommend the Thrunite TN12 as it's $20 cheaper and performs just as well. The TC12 is the same but has a USB charging port.
@@mikep6040 I'm happy to help! The PD35/Thrunite lights I mentioned are more concentrated than the LD30 or E28R, and have greater throw. The PD35 V2 has a max intensity of 15,000 candela, the LD30 is 10,000cd, and the E28R is about 9,000. Personally I don't know exactly what you need, but I think the smaller, floodier lights are probably a little more useful for your application, honestly all of them would be good though
@@LuxWad Appreciate dude! Well i need good "lighting" when inspecting the aircraft(about 10 to 15m distance more or less in some situations). Probably I don't need "big" throw. I am concerned about the LD30 beam and its candela (pd35 candela is awesome). As far as i know it will have a wider beam? Also heard that pd35 v2.0 is for all purposes cause it has balance between spot and flood.
Yeah the LD30 will be wider, and won't throw as far, while the PD35 is in a very good range for general use, both indoors and out. They're pretty similar actually, but based off what you said, the PD35 would probably be better

would love to see your take on the Olight M2R Pro
nice review...
Hey my friend. Was wondering if you can suggest this flashlight for my work as an aircraft mechanic! Any alternative?

@@LuxWad Thanks for your answer! How is it complared with other fenix? like LD30 or E28R? I mean the Spot is a bit wide; A bit floody?
