I recently purchased a 2024 Dodge Hornet. I would like to know if there is a way to cycle through my preset radio stations from the steering wheel. I looked through the comments and attempted to use the scrolling option on my steering wheel, it didn't work.
There are volume buttons along the right side, just next to the scroll wheel. I just realized I never uploaded the walkthrough on the steering wheel and cluster I shot last year, I'll try to get it edited and uploaded soon!
I'm getting the dodge hornet gt plus tomorrow and this vide was helpfully to me,but were does it show you the radio id for serious xm since I'm a costumer at that thanks.
That's exciting! This video shows off basics SiriusXM settings around the 4:45 mark. When you're on the SiriusXM screen, there's a little icon with a torso on the upper right side that has most settings you're after
Anyone know how to change from heat to air for the remote start feature? I remote started it when I got it in August and it was heating the car instead of cooling. Also I’ve noticed it doesn’t let me actually hit play or change stations on pandora from the touch screen.
There's no dedicated remote start setting for temp but have you tried turning the AC on before you turn the car off? I've never really used Pandora but I'll download it and try it out next time I'm in a Hornet

Ran a full cycle of the remote start feature this morning and didn’t even begin to defrost the snow. 😢. I had to go outside and actually turn it on to heat the car up.
Does anyone know if you can cycle thru radio presets on the steering wheel? I can only change station by station on the right side steering wheel wheel.
How do you use uconnect to operate lift gate to close. I can open the trunk, but seriously cannot get the liftgate to come down. I am too short to reach the door to pull down! The directions day use uconnect to do this. When i click on uconnect...nothing is there so i dont know how to connect it. Also do i have to down load the app in order to use this and does it cost money
You can enable or disable it through the uConnect screen but if your Hornet has the power liftgate the switch to open and close is by the light switch by your left knee. It would be on the bottom left side!
Do a longer press and hold on the volume rocker in, that's oddly the control to turn the screen on/off edit: If a few second hold doesn't turn it on, press and hold it for 10-15 seconds to do a soft screen reboot
My automatic folding mirrors stopped working after a few days of having the car. When I push the button they work though. I tried factory resetting and still not working, anyone have any ideas?
I cover off in this video how to change languages around the 16:00 mark. Go to Vehicle (bottom left Icon) --> Settings (top right just below heated passenger seat) --> Display (1st option). Language is the first one that pops up

the dark theme looks so much better than the other Uconnect 5 with the white backgrounds. the white theme creates a lot of eye strain
Agree with you 100%, I really like the dark theme for most manufacturers
Would like to know how to program the folding exterior mirrors when car is off
In cars that have power folding, the setting to toggle it on/off should be in the screen under Vehicle --> Settings --> Mirrors and Wipers

Typically a short press of the seek button will jump you between presets but a longer press and hold will act as a seek button instead

Well that's annoying.. Hmm.. I'm supposed to be in a Hornet in the next few weeks. If I'm able to find a workaround I'll circle back and let you know

Still not working, but it’s connected to my phone though display won’t come up though
@@dhanajeyank Did you ever find a fix? I'm having the same issue where carplay is still working, but it won't display anything

Is it the switch on the door that isn't working? They should only power fold when you lock or unlock the door
@@CarsWithSteve the switch on the door works. They don’t go in and out automatically when locking/unlocking even though the setting is set to on
Ohhh. Weird. As silly as this is have you tried turning the feature off on your car, turning your car off, then turning the feature back on?
