Why does the original upload have so many less views?
My main explanation/speculation is that I originally posted this series with the (naive) assumption that people wouldn't be so brazen as to copy them and repost them as their own. Perhaps I should have been more diligent in monitoring and protecting rogue copies over the past several years? Hindsight is 20/20 and although I've posted several requests for others to take down their copies and redirect their playlists to my originals, not much has changed. Unless I push harder (which I'm hesitant to do, even if I had the time/energy), I suspect "it is what it is" at this point. (unfortunately).
Thanks for the interesting question. It helps shine a light on the less-than-ethical behavior that is going on.
