Aw, Eddie Money.. Who didn't love him? Great voice, great catchy music, cute ASF. He was still cute at 70. You could tell he missed those days. We all do! ♥️ Rest easy, Thanks for all you have.

I saw Eddie at this concert, Pat Benatar opened for him. Awesome day! I also worked next door to his home in Westlake Village, CA in the early 90's, met him twice. RIP Eddie, you were great, a real genuinely nice person and your music will live on forever!
It hit me really hard this morning. I met him through a good friend of mine back in January he was such a kind man not to mention his incredible music.
Never met the man but was 2nd roll center at his concert think it was in 88-89 the No Control tour absolutely wonderful. I still listen to him all the time my favorite song of his is i wanna go back. I think it was the first song of his i heard. Fell in love with it. Bought his cassette and found his music wonderful
I discovered Eddie Money in Aug 82 and have been in love with him ever since. Going to his concert at Astroworld in Houston TX, I didn't know who he was. The very next day after the concert, I was at the mall buying EVERY ONE of his albums. No Control has always been my favorite. Can you imagine how this girl was when she finally got to meet her man on 04Apr04 at Wild Adventures in Valdosta GA? I was 10th in line when he came out for meet and greet, when I saw him, I started shaking (no pun intended :) ). Somebody tried to butt in line, I grew some balls and told them, "Go to the back of the line dude, wait like everyone else". When it was finally my turn, I stepped up shook his hand, told him my story of being his fan and with sincerity he said, "Thank you so much, I appreciate it." Then it was picture time. I sat on the table in front of him, he leaned over and put his chin on my shoulder. I said, "Wow, I'm never washing my face again, I have Eddie Money's sweat on me!" After the picture, I turned and gave him a hug. Walking away, I was shaking even more and even started crying (I never do that). I got to see him again in Oct '04. I took the picture of Eddie and I, printed it on a tshirt. Over the picture it said, "Eddie & Me". I was thankful that night that not many people were there, so I was front and center at the stage. When he started singing Take a Little Bit, I showed him my shirt that I made and he winked. When he got to, "Take a little bit of my life and hold it, Take a little bit of my life and hold it, Hold on to me, I gotta mean something to you, Don't let me go, Please, Please don't let me down So", he was leaning over to me and we were both singing it to each other. I melted, of course! After the concert, he signed my shirt. Got a hug and a kiss and another picture. For my 40th birthday, my stepmother got ahold of his publicist and I got an autographed picture. Sorry to bore you all, just wanted to share my story.
