This guy is better than Carter. He's more on the level with Vinnie Colaiuta, Jojo Mayer, and Virgil Donati. Freaking ridiculous technique, and precision.
As a fan a drummer as well as a long long time fan of Carter... I like your rendition of it.
People don't realize how hard it is to play like him.. Top 3 of all time IMO.

I think because DMB isn't as viral but it definitely is musical. El Step talked about his use of viral songs to play into UA-cams algorithm.. and it worked. Unfortunately, I think he had to sacrifice not playing some of the musical greats like DMB to do it

Making Carter Beauford drumming look easy is not a simple task.
Keep in mind that Carter has a much larger set and utilizes it all. He did do a great job on this cover for sure!

I watched under the table and drumming 25 times in its entirety. also listener supported on VHS a dozen or so. I don't even play drums. i love carter's contribution to dmb. i usually can't even listen to covers or cover bands because he's very difficult to cover imo. this was excellent.
