Мне все равно на бренды и в цветах не особо разбираюсь. В последнее время начала собирать коллекцию цветов до этого была парочка стандартных наборов ВанГог и Белые ночи.
I definitely do not stick with the same brand. My local art store carries MaimeriBlu and had a sale this week so I picked up several tubes since I enjoy their paints (coincidentally, chose a number of the same colours that you picked up). I really like Daniel Smith and Schmincke paints as well. Although I have a few tubes of honey based paints, I think I will be avoiding tubes with that binder in the future because I like to put my paints in travel palettes and those are too messy. Wonderful for home-use though.
Do you also feel like they are easier to lift than other brands or is it just me? 😅 Yes, I got the same experience with honey based paints - I love sennelier but for travel palettes their half pans are much better than tubes 😊 Thank you so much for your comment!
I appreciate the time you dedicated to make this review. I already own over ten tubes of these paint and I too was surprised with their luminosity. I'm still hesitating weather I should order turquoise green or phthalo turquoise. This "faience" indanthrene blue is so clean and bright its really hard to find a match among other brands. I believe the problem with glazing comes mostly from your risky choises when it comes to pigments. Pb36 and pg17 as well as this pg7 burnt umber have pretty big particles so every next layer tends to wash away whatever is below them. I would encourage you to try mixing your Cupric Green and Dragon's Blood - they make really sweet substitute of a burnt umber, I swear, and its much easier to glaze.
Tatiana, my goodness! Your love and appreciation of colour and your knowledge of pigments is just amazing and wonderful. This was such a great video and I am so happy to have found your channel. I love trying new colours and brands of paint. I currently own Daniel Smith, Winsor & Newton Professional, Sennelier, A. Gallo, M. Graham and the Schmincke Horadam Super-Granulating paints. Maimeri Blu has been on my list of ‘want to try’ for quite a while. Unfortunately I am currently in a ‘no buy’ situation 😄 Thank you so much for this great video! ❤
I am so happy you liked it! I am far from being an expert but I wanted to figure out what the “odd” colors were and it paid out 😊 I am happy to know that somebody found it useful, thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! ❤️❤️❤️
Golden yellow is also my favourite maimeri blu colour maimeri blu watercolours are my go to watercolour after trying schmincke, sennelier and dainel smith
Just found your channel and really enjoyed your very thorough review. Subscribed! Would be lovely to see you paint again with these paints on some 100 per cent cotton paper. 👍 Thanks again fro all the information on Maimeri Blu!
Blessings. I have some of these. The primary yellow is PY97. Not PY973. I find they are on the bottom of my 3 least favorite brands. Not liking them much at all. The colors are pretty though. Im glad I only have 5 tubes. I literally tossed the 6th one, a sap green into the garbage because It was so gummy and lumpy. All feel gummy to me. Since they actually flow fast well wet into wet is proof it has to have some kind of dispersant added that they are not disclosing. Because, otherwise, it would stay put like Holbein watercolors. Holbein doesn't use dispersant.
Hi Tatiana. Where can I purchase the MaimeriBlue watercolors in Asia. I am living in the Philippines now. Thanks for any information. I used to live in Australia and always used MaimeriBlu products.
Do you stick to one brand of paints or are you constantly trying something new like me? Let me know in comments! 🤩

А мне постоянно хочется новых оттенков, в которых я потом теряюсь 😅 Спасибо за комментарий! 😊
@@TatianasArtandCraft пожалуйста, вот и я теряюсь.

Also: Faience Blue and Cupric Green Deep make a lovely Cobalt-ish blues. Slightly muted and staining. I believe that was my favourite combination.
Thank you for your absolutely fantastic comment and advice, Agnieszka! I will definitely give the mixes you recommend a go! 🤩

Thank hank you for sharing! And do you have any issues that they are too easy to lift?
В последнее время хочется рисовать исключительно на хлопке. Разбаловалась, на самом деле хочется получать удовольствие от работы а не мучения.
Это да, сложно вернуться к целлюлозе после хорошей бумаги из хлопка 😊
really like that turquoise green 🙂
Yes, it’s really beautiful 🤩

Hi Peter, unfortunately, I do not know... I bought them in a physical store in Europe 😊
love ❤🎉
Thank you! 😊
Does anyone know if these paints dry down well into a folding palette?
I am not sure about folding palette but in my pans they dried pretty well, no stickiness or anything and I live in a relatively humid climate :)
Your painting skills need a lot of improvement
Definitely! 😅🙈
